Replaced a Samsung S5 - as a replacement - perfect.

This is my son's first smart phone and it's perfect.

so far so good it's been operating perfectly ......

Had it for 6months now and it is randomly turning off and on!? But the battery life is average as it can last all day on a charge with minimal use, but if doing a lot of internet work from 8-3pm is OK but by then its battery life is-15%

I bought this phone as a replacement When mine broke and I thought I could save some money and get an inexpensive phone but I'm definitely paying for it. It is pretty slow and lags between screens. Poor at multi tasking. Both the face and fingerprint unlock don't work well. The USB C connector is often very tight and it feels like you're forcing it. And finally the talk to text is terrible at picking up what you want to say.

The camera is ok like the wide screen dont like the of center and back butttons dont like bixby keeps comming up also havinf trouble answering and hanging up phone

Still trying to figure this phone out. We were not given good info on this phone. Best Buy use to be attentive and offer help in explaining this phone

I am having mixed feelings. The battery life is not vey great but I will give it a few more days. But I am not really impressed, it is overwhelming.

This phone is basic. I had higher expectations. It gets the job done. The camera was giving average pictures.

Average at best if you do not want to shell out the big $$$ for a phone. Works ok, set up is different from samsung S8.

Just switched from the google pixel 2xl. This phone is good, but still a step down and is sometimes a bit slow.

Had issues with sound. Couldn't hear doing phone calls. Playback on video was freezing during Playback.

Had this for 4 months. Randomly restarts all the time, almost daily. In the middle of music, suddenly reboots. In the middle of browsing, reboots. No damage, no water, nada. Fingerprint scanner is garbage. It's built into the screen and you can only add 3 fingers. It's very unreliable, I often have to use the pattern to unlock. Samsung could face liability in the case of an emergency and being unable to make a call if you can't unlock your phone. Learn from my mistake, don't buy this phone.

Seems to be easy to use and a good phone to start using as a first time Smart phone user.

This is probably the worse Samsung phone I have had thus far. I have been a Samsung Galaxy user for years, probably since I got a smart phones. I've had several different Samsung Galaxies. Probably one of the most poorly made phones I have ever had. Did not even have it a week and the screen chipped and cracked because its so thin and brittle. Had a case on it, picked it up off the counter and its cracked. Sad thing is that Samsung's authorized dealers don't even carry the stuff to fix it. Called Samsung and had to prove to them that their AD don't have the materials from the to fix it.The AD said all the A series have thin and screens and break easily and often. I guess you get what you pay for. The best Samsung can do it charge me over half of what I paid for this cheap crummy phone and sent it back for 9 to 11 business days to Samsung to fix it. Definitely may be my last Samsung phone. Just be aware you get what you pay for..JUNK!

nice phone, taking a bit to navigate the upgrades but I'm not a techy. So...

Seriously don't buy this phone. It's slow, buggy. Takes about 5 tries to open, laggy response, crashes often. Garbage. Camera is OK though. I'm taking it back and eating the 50 dollar restock fee.

Phone very slick. Drop phone and screen cracked first day.

Speaker phone doesn't work. On my 2nd one, same problem. Screen goes dark when making a phone call (10-12 seconds into call). Have to press side bar repeatedly. Very annoying. Won't buy any more Samsung cell phones.
