Amazing Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have the Galaxy Buds+, but those got used way too much and stopped working after three years. Now I got these and they sounds amazing. I didn't think the open design would facilitate full, rich sound, especially bass tones, but even that sounds awesome. Not only that but they're way more comfortable than earbuds that plug your ears. I can wear them all day and forget I have them in (if I'm not listening to music). I can still hear people and environmental noise and that means they're great for safety and knowing what is going on around you. If you haven't got these yet, go out and get 'em.

Amazing sound with only a few minor drawbacks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.+ Easily the best audio quality so far from Samsung's line of Galaxy Buds. Largely in part thanks to improved drivers and a new "bass duct". the bass is extremely punchy. Mileage will of course vary based on your streaming platform of choice. Lossless audio really works well here. + Open ear design, like the normal Airpods. + Unlike Airpods, these actually stay in extremely well, as they are super lightweight, and do not have a boom mic sticking out weighing them down. + Can be paired to 2 devices at once. Which is perfect if you own a phone and tablet, or even 2 phones. + The microphone for phone calls is amazing. It is one of the best I've used for it's ability to single out your voice and block out background sounds. So those you are talking to will hear you much better. - The touch controls can be a little awkward and sometimes not responsive. Though they do have some nice options however in how you can control them. I just find myself sometimes having to tap again a different way to get the results I want. It's not terrible, but compared to previous Galaxy buds, the touch controls on these are not as good. Definitely serviceable though. - The Active Noise Cancelling, which is one of the big selling points of these... This is the main reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. They do have noise cancelling, yes, but since they are an open ear design, the noise cancelling is just not good. My previous Galaxy Buds, which do not have ANC actually do a better job of blocking out background noise, due to creating a seal in your ear canal with the silicone tips, and using passive noise isolation instead. To summarize, I am really pleased with this purchase. I have had them for a while now, and am extremely pleased with the overall audio quality for music and phone calls. They are also super comfortable in my ears personally. I would however not recommend them for ANC. For everything else though, yes! Buy these!

Great sound but with one flaw.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These ear buds have the best sound I've heard for music, that is coming from 60 dollar buds I have. So its big step up. I listen to audio books and the sounds is there. Adjusting the EQ between Dynamic and Treble for these is fine. The software on my android "Gear Wear" works great when needed to change settings. No crashing and easy to use. They fit my ears very well. I have to use the larger rubber pieces, the fit feels better. As for the feel. I real don't notice them in my ears. It feels like somethings in there but not. I can still hear things around me alot. The ANC is like everyone else says. It cuts out the heavier But that's it. I leave it off. Now the one flaw, The Connectivity! These ear buds work great. As long as the Phone you are using is not block by ANYTHING! In my left, right or back pocket while I'm at work fine. As soon as i put my hand, box, jacket, bag, over those places they lose signal and cut out. Even sitting down. If i cover the phone to much they cut out. Tried with my Note 20, wifes S10, even my fathers LTE android phone. As soon as something kind of covers the phones bluetooth antenna they cut in and out. These could be The best earbuds now, if it was for that one flaw. I like them and plan "with a little difference in not covering my phone" keeping these.

Amazing, even with an iPhone!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these. I am forever on the look for the most comfortable earbuds for my evidently-stubborn ears. I loved the sound from the AirPods Pro, but no matter what eartips I used, they always fell out after a few minutes. Incredibly annoying. The Galaxy Buds and Buds+ were incredibly uncomfortable - though also their sound quality was pretty good (not as good as the AirPods, clearly). My wife wanted to get a pair of these Galaxy Buds Live on sale, so when she got them I tried them on and heard a few songs and was astonished at how high the sound quality is and how comfortable the rather unorthodox fit is. Regarding the fit - I was incredibly skeptical since their release as the problem with the "normal" earbuds fitting right while remaining comfortable, I figured these oddly shaped ones would not fit at all. I was absolutely incorrect. The unique shape/fit of these out the box is incredibly comfortable and secure. They do not "wiggle" they do not slip around and they certainly have not popped out. Currently I've had them in my ear for about two hours while working and not the least bit uncomfortable - nearly forgettable to be honest. The sound quality is great. Even though I'm an iPhone user, the Samsung Buds app is great and makes pairing easy. The different settings for the sound does make a great difference depending on what you like (I stick with Dynamic for the most part). The only other real benefit to these over others, aside from the AirPods, is that the case these come with is so incredibly small. I love it; I bring my buds with me everywhere in case my wife wants to spend a lot of time looking around at the department stores so that I have stuff to listen to. And these case is absolutely wonderful in it's size and functionality. The battery length is great. The ANC is not as stout as the AirPods Pro, but that is expected with the fact these do not go into the ear canal (another bonus to me in terms of comfort). That said, the reduction in outside noises is absolutely great and a welcomed addition. No complaints at all right now.

Great Clear Sound, Confortable Fit & Bass Strong
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these Samsung Buds Live, actually bought the Buds Pro 2 then returned as its not as comfortable in the ear also its a bit pricey, the Buds Pro 2 does have more noise cancelation and probably 2 features that the Buds Live do not have. But all in all, if your the type of person that does not always listen to music all the time then this is the type of earbuds you need. Very simple with less features but packs clear sound, decent active noise cancelling, strong clear bass and a natural fitting on your ears. Plus it comes with large earbud sizes. Worth the money :)

Comfy-Great Sound-Good Battery-Nintendo Switch
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Work pretty great and are comfy in my ears, never been a fan of the earbuds with stems in the ear canal. These just nestle into the dip of the ear for a good seal, Might want Qtips afterwards if you have earwax. When both buds are in the sound is amazing, easily connects to my phone AND Nintendo switch!! Great for wireless gaming with amazing sound. The also have really good battery life, the case has great battery life too. Would recommend getting a shell to go around the case though, the case scuffed pretty easy.

Good Overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome earbuds. Sound good and fit great (in my ears). I think that the sound quality is okay, the bass could be better. Wingtips are a game changer, don't even feel like they are in my ears. Audio quality sometimes cuts down for a few seconds in the beginning when connecting and playing music, but then becomes better, so minor bug.

Older beans but better then any other ones.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10 out of 10. I have bought these 2 different times. My first pair got a bit of water on them (not water resistant in the slightest) but oh my lerd! The sound quality is absolutely unmatched for juat being little beans you put into your ears. The bass is rich and full the voice quality is amazing and the shape doesnt fatigue the ears what so ever for me at least.

Nice earphones
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is pretty good for the size. Very convenient and stay in ears really good. Also like that they don't poke out or show a lot, pretty discreet headphones. The only flaw is touch controls, you can only skip to next song, pause/play and answer call, cant control volume from headphones or go to previous track or rewind. Also the touch controls are not really responsive. Charge holds for a long time.

Rough start, but my persistance paid off...So far
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story ahead... TL;DR - Even though these HURT when I first tried them and still kinda do, I give them 5 stars for all it's quality features and convenience. So Long story... I was eager like anyone else to get these as close to day one as possible. Nothing beats the feeling of being one of the first to try something new that may as well be the next Airpods... Like, For real. I truly believe these may be it... But first, Let me explain my struggle on the first day. I picked these up at a popular/busy Best Buy location, and they were the first ones in my area to have it available, I drove further than what I was comfortable with for these, but do not regret it at all at this date in time.... The Best Buy was awesome though! Employee was prompt and polite and I was outta there in less than 5 minutes. Anyway, My Struggle: P-A-I-N..!!! On my first day these buds HURT like words I cannot write in this review! I kid you not! I almost took them back as soon as I got home and popped them in the 2nd time for a few hours. The first time was a odd feeling popping them in, I had them in for less than a minute and took them out to head home, and had an odd sensation in my ear, not entirely pain but I just thought I had to get used to it. I haven't been an avid bud user recently, and these are actually my very first wireless earbuds I've ever used so I thought 'Hmm, Maybe I just have to get used to them' - Anyway, later in my review/story it will turn out this was somewhat true, but may vary for some with different ears than mine of course. I never liked in ear buds and always thought about Airpods and other wise like using just open type ear buds when comfort is my goal, But as a Samsung user I didn't prefer to go that route with the Airpods. I hoped and dreamt for buds like these, an open type from someone other than Apple.... and the Samsung gods listened! So.. Continuing on with the pain... I tried the alternative 'wing tips' provided in the case, which are larger in comparison to the ones already attached to the buds, and have a larger radius so if your ear is a bit bigger, then those should fit better or provide a tighter seal. I wore those for a few hours/days, and the pain was 80% less than with the default tips! I ended up giving these a chance and another try, which I normally do not do and wouldn't have done if these did not sound as good as they do! The bass is just phenomenal! I will write more about the sound experience below... So... Tried the different tips for a few days, and man, I gotta tell ya, Plastic is a brutal material for the ears. I can't tell you if my ears were just super sensitive at first and they had to adjust, but as humans, we are excellent at adjusting to new environments, This was just another thing I had to evolve my ears to get used to. It still hurt a bit, but after a few days, I got more and more used to it... But the bigger tips kinda hung out of my ear, Kinda hard to explain, and they kept slipping out far enough after a while which was sacrificing the sound quality and the seal they should maintain. So after becoming comfortable with the bigger tips, I tried out the smaller ones again... I carefully removed them from the box I had previously placed them back inside of, and popped them back into my ear. The difference!!! I barely feel them anymore! As much as the bigger ones, and best of all, They create the best seal! I can almost not feel them if I'm not concentrating on them, and I feel like I could sleep in these if not for my fear of losing it's battery life from such use, Lol. However, After a few hours they begin to hurt again but It's a work in progress. I will wear them longer and longer until either I don't feel the pain anymore or I'm simply just used to them.... I'm not giving up! Anyway, You read my struggle and rough start with these, but in the end I was persistent and really did not want to return these and gave them constant chances over and over. I really wanted to like them. I forced my ears to adjust to it.... So if they hurt for you at first, depending on your return policy, Give them a week or so! I did and I do not regret it at all! Try them for an hour every day to try to get used to them! Try the other tips as well for a bit, and alternate between the two, just make sure to be careful as the silicone/rubber is pretty easy to dent/damage with nails and such. Onto the Quality, Sound, and Ease of Use & Charge Time/Battery life at end: Quality: Well, It's as good as plastic will get ya... I haven't owned it much or put it through too much daily use, So I can't really say how the hinges of the case or the 'click' will last.... But as always I'm worried about such things.... It seems like it should hold out for at least a couple of years, depending on how you take care of it.... The buds are a glossy finish and they're alright.... The gloss gets pretty oily from fingers/ear grease... Not the best choice of material for such use, but also the best....: It's easy to clean off and is really no hindrance to it's daily functions. The cracks between the plastic however seem as if earwax CAN somewhat penetrate it, As personally experienced by me... So be wary of such things and make sure to clean it before it gets too deep etc... Sound: Impressive! For not being in the ear canal, and an open ear concept, These do a very good job at fooling you into thinking they were anything BUT Open Ear!!! The ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is also excellent at drowning out Air Conditioning in ALL buildings, So if you got a loud Air Conditioner, It will cancel out all the lower frequency noise, and you'll only hear a bit of white noise and the air gently blowing by... But really, It's not bad! I bet these would be a great addition on a plane or train! Maybe next year I suppose I'd be able to try that out... After all this Covid stuff is gone of course.... Also, The BASS on these! They are impressive for an open ear concept, and almost match in ear ones! Post Malone never sounded so good.... I use the 'Dynamic' setting in the app for EQ settings, and many Youtubers use it as well in their reviews, and there's a reason!.... They sound a bit better than just default or 'Normal' - Try it out! Ease of use: The App is amazing! Great ease of use, and it shows battery of both buds if only using one, shows battery of the case if buds are sitting inside and case is open, and ANC is easily controlled from there as well as your touch settings that let you change the 'touch and hold' settings to either volume up for right bud, volume down for left, or ANC for left bud and open Spotify for right bud, or voice commands! There's also a 'Labs' mode, that lets you try out experimental settings for the buds such as 'Gaming Mode' - which speeds up the MS it takes to transfer sound from phone to buds... What does that exactly mean??? It means if you're watching a Youtube video and you notice the sound is desynced, and the guys lips are moving a bit ahead of the actual sound.. This setting will correct that :) My only con right now is that the touch sometimes isn't too consistent and you gotta tap them a certain way, But with anything, it takes a bit to get used to and it's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm slowly getting there. At least with these, You don't get the feeling of pushing your buds into your ear even further when trying to access the touch controls! :) Review conclusion and Charge Time: This concludes my review, and I'll absolutely be updating this if I run into any defects or any such issues with these! Hope my story/review helped you to decide, or figure out things with the Buds Live! (THE BEANS!) Just wanted to say is that these buds made me want to purchase a wireless charger now, As these support wireless charging!!! - and so does my phone (Note 8), But I never had a reason to get it. But the USB-C cable the buds come with doesn't really reach far.... and I hate switching cables back and forth so.... Wireless charger FTW! I'll let you know how long the wireless charger takes.... With the battery down to 30% before first charge, It took about 2 hours to get a full charge with these but they charged the buds 3-4 times, and I'm on my second charge with 4 uses already and only down to 60%... So the first charge gave it some juice that it probably needed after the factory or something lol. Anyway, Thanks for reading my long as heck review, and I hope I didn't bore you!

Live Buds
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the earbuds are great for what I needed, however, I can see how others would dislike them. Although they're sold as noise cancelling, it is more noise deafening at best. The wear is one of the better aspects for me. They lay almost seamless to your ears and even after falling asleep for a bit with them in they did not fall out. Unfortunately, long wear does also mean sore ears from how close contact they need to be, but these are definitely active-wear ear buds. Battery life has been great. I doubt you could kill the buds in one sitting unless you stayed fully screen connected. Charge time is as you'd expect from models like these, I have noticed that attempting to use fast chargers may actually cause damage to the battery overtime as I find a fast life charge almost causes the buds to die faster as well. Definitely stick with the provided cord and make sure to wipe earbuds for any oils that may build up from touching, and then it is definitely worth the purchase.

Great sound, fit, appearance. Awesome case!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the design. They abut your ear canal without invading it. Sound is great- especially the bass but it could be clearer. Charges fast, Samsung's app is decent. Call quality pretty good! Main gripe: Some connectivity issues even when your mobile device is nearby. When this occurs, the sound is like an affect from Tron or something. Think pixelated sound. It's weird. This happens frequently and I hope a software fix resolves the issue. I usually disconnect/reconnect to fix it. Another gripe: the active noise cancelation is nowhere near AirPods Pro level. But, these little Samsung kidney beans stay in place in my ear. For that, I really like them. Plus, they don't stick out very far, like a Bose unit, for example.

What Airpods should have been. Aipods the sequel.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little pair of ear buds. They may look like hearing aids but they sound fantastic and show that one-size-fits-all ear buds CAN be done right (*cough airpods). I personally tried out the larger silicone tip and its surprising how much of a difference that made for the fit of these in my ear. The smaller size that comes on these is fine but the larger size makes these snug. The usual; batter life is great; no issues with dropping signal like pixel buds do when I have them connected to my garmin watch, and the case is very pocketable. If you liked the open design of airpods but hated them for not having a good fit then these might as well be the pseudo successor to those. The ANC is negligible since they do a good job of canceling out low rumble frequencies but not higher ones so it may seem like its not working but this is why. I'd still recommend these to anyone who wants a good pair of buds for everyday tasks from music, podcast, videos, and calls. These have great call quality which is hard to come by. Seems like call quality and video latency are often overlooked but not on this pair. Plus the usual goodies like quick charge and wireless charging that samsung offers.
