Sound quality is pretty good for the size. Very convenient and stay in ears really good. Also like that they don't poke out or show a lot, pretty discreet headphones. The only flaw is touch controls, you can only skip to next song, pause/play and answer call, cant control volume from headphones or go to previous track or rewind. Also the touch controls are not really responsive. Charge holds for a long time.

warning for ppl who've had reactions to other buds

Overall I think these are alright. They sound good, phone app has things you can adjust in regards to sound. I don't use them very often so I'm able to carry around the buds with only case charge for literal weeks. One negative I've experienced is that sometimes I have to fiddle with them in my ears because if it doesn't sit right, the speakers are blocked then I can't hear anything. You don't normally experience that with buds that have silicon tips since those go directly into your ear. *prior to this, I had galaxy buds pro. Over the course of a few months, I started getting allergic reactions to them resulting in my ears getting wet/blistered, crusty, and almost developing an ear infection. This is not unique to only me, you can look into it. It supposedly has to do with a nickel allergy/nickel used in the buds. I got these in hopes that I wouldn't experience the same thing since majority of the reports were for the pro models even though the Live also contains nickel. I will say, I have not experienced anything near what I did with the pros. However, if I wear them for too long or too often, I do start to experience the wetness and crustiness that follows (still no where near the severity as the pros). So if you're like me, be warned.

Overall the earbuds are great for what I needed, however, I can see how others would dislike them. Although they're sold as noise cancelling, it is more noise deafening at best. The wear is one of the better aspects for me. They lay almost seamless to your ears and even after falling asleep for a bit with them in they did not fall out. Unfortunately, long wear does also mean sore ears from how close contact they need to be, but these are definitely active-wear ear buds. Battery life has been great. I doubt you could kill the buds in one sitting unless you stayed fully screen connected. Charge time is as you'd expect from models like these, I have noticed that attempting to use fast chargers may actually cause damage to the battery overtime as I find a fast life charge almost causes the buds to die faster as well. Definitely stick with the provided cord and make sure to wipe earbuds for any oils that may build up from touching, and then it is definitely worth the purchase.

Long story ahead... TL;DR - Even though these HURT when I first tried them and still kinda do, I give them 5 stars for all it's quality features and convenience. So Long story... I was eager like anyone else to get these as close to day one as possible. Nothing beats the feeling of being one of the first to try something new that may as well be the next Airpods... Like, For real. I truly believe these may be it... But first, Let me explain my struggle on the first day. I picked these up at a popular/busy Best Buy location, and they were the first ones in my area to have it available, I drove further than what I was comfortable with for these, but do not regret it at all at this date in time.... The Best Buy was awesome though! Employee was prompt and polite and I was outta there in less than 5 minutes. Anyway, My Struggle: P-A-I-N..!!! On my first day these buds HURT like words I cannot write in this review! I kid you not! I almost took them back as soon as I got home and popped them in the 2nd time for a few hours. The first time was a odd feeling popping them in, I had them in for less than a minute and took them out to head home, and had an odd sensation in my ear, not entirely pain but I just thought I had to get used to it. I haven't been an avid bud user recently, and these are actually my very first wireless earbuds I've ever used so I thought 'Hmm, Maybe I just have to get used to them' - Anyway, later in my review/story it will turn out this was somewhat true, but may vary for some with different ears than mine of course. I never liked in ear buds and always thought about Airpods and other wise like using just open type ear buds when comfort is my goal, But as a Samsung user I didn't prefer to go that route with the Airpods. I hoped and dreamt for buds like these, an open type from someone other than Apple.... and the Samsung gods listened! So.. Continuing on with the pain... I tried the alternative 'wing tips' provided in the case, which are larger in comparison to the ones already attached to the buds, and have a larger radius so if your ear is a bit bigger, then those should fit better or provide a tighter seal. I wore those for a few hours/days, and the pain was 80% less than with the default tips! I ended up giving these a chance and another try, which I normally do not do and wouldn't have done if these did not sound as good as they do! The bass is just phenomenal! I will write more about the sound experience below... So... Tried the different tips for a few days, and man, I gotta tell ya, Plastic is a brutal material for the ears. I can't tell you if my ears were just super sensitive at first and they had to adjust, but as humans, we are excellent at adjusting to new environments, This was just another thing I had to evolve my ears to get used to. It still hurt a bit, but after a few days, I got more and more used to it... But the bigger tips kinda hung out of my ear, Kinda hard to explain, and they kept slipping out far enough after a while which was sacrificing the sound quality and the seal they should maintain. So after becoming comfortable with the bigger tips, I tried out the smaller ones again... I carefully removed them from the box I had previously placed them back inside of, and popped them back into my ear. The difference!!! I barely feel them anymore! As much as the bigger ones, and best of all, They create the best seal! I can almost not feel them if I'm not concentrating on them, and I feel like I could sleep in these if not for my fear of losing it's battery life from such use, Lol. However, After a few hours they begin to hurt again but It's a work in progress. I will wear them longer and longer until either I don't feel the pain anymore or I'm simply just used to them.... I'm not giving up! Anyway, You read my struggle and rough start with these, but in the end I was persistent and really did not want to return these and gave them constant chances over and over. I really wanted to like them. I forced my ears to adjust to it.... So if they hurt for you at first, depending on your return policy, Give them a week or so! I did and I do not regret it at all! Try them for an hour every day to try to get used to them! Try the other tips as well for a bit, and alternate between the two, just make sure to be careful as the silicone/rubber is pretty easy to dent/damage with nails and such. Onto the Quality, Sound, and Ease of Use & Charge Time/Battery life at end: Quality: Well, It's as good as plastic will get ya... I haven't owned it much or put it through too much daily use, So I can't really say how the hinges of the case or the 'click' will last.... But as always I'm worried about such things.... It seems like it should hold out for at least a couple of years, depending on how you take care of it.... The buds are a glossy finish and they're alright.... The gloss gets pretty oily from fingers/ear grease... Not the best choice of material for such use, but also the best....: It's easy to clean off and is really no hindrance to it's daily functions. The cracks between the plastic however seem as if earwax CAN somewhat penetrate it, As personally experienced by me... So be wary of such things and make sure to clean it before it gets too deep etc... Sound: Impressive! For not being in the ear canal, and an open ear concept, These do a very good job at fooling you into thinking they were anything BUT Open Ear!!! The ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) is also excellent at drowning out Air Conditioning in ALL buildings, So if you got a loud Air Conditioner, It will cancel out all the lower frequency noise, and you'll only hear a bit of white noise and the air gently blowing by... But really, It's not bad! I bet these would be a great addition on a plane or train! Maybe next year I suppose I'd be able to try that out... After all this Covid stuff is gone of course.... Also, The BASS on these! They are impressive for an open ear concept, and almost match in ear ones! Post Malone never sounded so good.... I use the 'Dynamic' setting in the app for EQ settings, and many Youtubers use it as well in their reviews, and there's a reason!.... They sound a bit better than just default or 'Normal' - Try it out! Ease of use: The App is amazing! Great ease of use, and it shows battery of both buds if only using one, shows battery of the case if buds are sitting inside and case is open, and ANC is easily controlled from there as well as your touch settings that let you change the 'touch and hold' settings to either volume up for right bud, volume down for left, or ANC for left bud and open Spotify for right bud, or voice commands! There's also a 'Labs' mode, that lets you try out experimental settings for the buds such as 'Gaming Mode' - which speeds up the MS it takes to transfer sound from phone to buds... What does that exactly mean??? It means if you're watching a Youtube video and you notice the sound is desynced, and the guys lips are moving a bit ahead of the actual sound.. This setting will correct that :) My only con right now is that the touch sometimes isn't too consistent and you gotta tap them a certain way, But with anything, it takes a bit to get used to and it's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm slowly getting there. At least with these, You don't get the feeling of pushing your buds into your ear even further when trying to access the touch controls! :) Review conclusion and Charge Time: This concludes my review, and I'll absolutely be updating this if I run into any defects or any such issues with these! Hope my story/review helped you to decide, or figure out things with the Buds Live! (THE BEANS!) Just wanted to say is that these buds made me want to purchase a wireless charger now, As these support wireless charging!!! - and so does my phone (Note 8), But I never had a reason to get it. But the USB-C cable the buds come with doesn't really reach far.... and I hate switching cables back and forth so.... Wireless charger FTW! I'll let you know how long the wireless charger takes.... With the battery down to 30% before first charge, It took about 2 hours to get a full charge with these but they charged the buds 3-4 times, and I'm on my second charge with 4 uses already and only down to 60%... So the first charge gave it some juice that it probably needed after the factory or something lol. Anyway, Thanks for reading my long as heck review, and I hope I didn't bore you!

The earbuds have been great. I don't have to deal with the feeling of having something poking my ear canal while offering great sound. This is the second pair I purchased like this and wish Samsung would keep this style instead of following the trend to allow for options for different ear types.

The music sounds good to me, and it stays in my ears really well, even while exercising. I like the settings to adjust how much base. The only problem for me is that they hurt my ears after staying in awhile, but that might be because I have small ears.

Okay, I had a bit of a love hate relationship with these when I first got them. I have small ears, these buds were the ones that officially made me realize that haha. The sound quality and battery life are great on these, I just couldn’t keep them from falling out of my tiny lil ear holes to continue using them. Fortunately my boyfriend has been loving them! They fit his ears very nicely even without the attachments. His one complaint is they are a bit of a wax/oil magnet, so it’s best to just do a quick wipe everytime you take them out if you can.

Fit is great! Sound quality is amazing! Doesnt irritate my ears at all, and works well with "small ear canals as im not cramming a too-large x-small size ear tip in my canals either. Very comfortable to wear for long hours without annoying me. Love the color too! Fast charging for all day use on the go! Great option while working out and running!

Great little pair of ear buds. They may look like hearing aids but they sound fantastic and show that one-size-fits-all ear buds CAN be done right (*cough airpods). I personally tried out the larger silicone tip and its surprising how much of a difference that made for the fit of these in my ear. The smaller size that comes on these is fine but the larger size makes these snug. The usual; batter life is great; no issues with dropping signal like pixel buds do when I have them connected to my garmin watch, and the case is very pocketable. If you liked the open design of airpods but hated them for not having a good fit then these might as well be the pseudo successor to those. The ANC is negligible since they do a good job of canceling out low rumble frequencies but not higher ones so it may seem like its not working but this is why. I'd still recommend these to anyone who wants a good pair of buds for everyday tasks from music, podcast, videos, and calls. These have great call quality which is hard to come by. Seems like call quality and video latency are often overlooked but not on this pair. Plus the usual goodies like quick charge and wireless charging that samsung offers.

I love the design. They abut your ear canal without invading it. Sound is great- especially the bass but it could be clearer. Charges fast, Samsung's app is decent. Call quality pretty good! Main gripe: Some connectivity issues even when your mobile device is nearby. When this occurs, the sound is like an affect from Tron or something. Think pixelated sound. It's weird. This happens frequently and I hope a software fix resolves the issue. I usually disconnect/reconnect to fix it. Another gripe: the active noise cancelation is nowhere near AirPods Pro level. But, these little Samsung kidney beans stay in place in my ear. For that, I really like them. Plus, they don't stick out very far, like a Bose unit, for example.

I've been using Raycons for years, and eventually had to switch brands due to my buds constantly breaking after even the smallest of drops (I mean seriously, I dropped a bud maybe 1 foot off the ground and it acted like it was thrown off a cliff). I bought these months ago, and even after my cat smacking them off my bed side table several times, they still work perfectly! Sound is excellent, the noise cancelling really comes in handy. The touch function is a little difficult for me to navigate so I usually haave that turned off. The battery life is great, I use earbuds for several hours a day so I usually have to charge the case every couple of days but the buds themselves last hours on end. The mic quality is excellent as well, I've been complimented on how clear my mic was during discord calls. I absolutely reccomend these, the shape takes a bit to get used to if you've only used the standard earbud shape but it's SO worth it.

The first two weeks of usage made me want to quit on them. Im in the small percentage when I write this but hopefully others will see. These buds were aching my ears in discomfort for those two weeks because of its unique shape and I had only used Airpods before this. However and thankfully after those two weeks the discomfort went away. These are amazing open ear style buds that still allow me to hear. Ive had them now for a few months and Ive had no issues with them in terms of discomfort. The one big issue is the touch controls. There are times when the taps arent recognized the way I input them. A single tap to pause will register as a double and a double as a triple and a triple as a double. I know theres a tempo to it but even doing it right it wont register. That is my only issue with them and other than that they are great if you get over the initial discomfort.

I haven't had wireless earbuds in sometime, but have been guilty of using my girlfriend's airpod pro. 1st off what I like about the samsung live is that size, it's compact, comfortable and in terms of the sound (mids/high) works extremely well. Haven't tested out the battery length just because I'm not constantly worrying them this was more for a joint occasional music and picking up phone calls (more about the phone call later). If you happy to be an Xfinity customer you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that you can pair your live to your x1 4k dvr and enjoy tv without disturbing anyone in the home. What I dont like, compared the the airpod pro the bass sounds weaker (makes sense it's over the ear, rather than in your ear canal). While speaking on calls at time I get a little distortion on the right live, and at time seems to cut in and out. Also while they are small and compact, the touch sensitivity is a pain. When you up the case and take them out to place them in your ear, your almost guaranteed to activate music or whatever setting you have placed onto it. While you can block touch features, it's something that I wouldn't want to do since I like controlling the volume from my live. All in all I'll give them a week or two and will either keep them or return them.

I have owned all the Samsung buds. I really like the fit very comfortable. I like that my ears are not plugged all the time. Like my buds plus. And I have not had to take them out to wipe them down. Because of a little ear wax. (I clean my buds every night) Because they would feel like they were about to fall out. Call quality is great. Music sound great as well. Samsung once again is is leading the way. For others to try and follow. Thank you Samsung. A Samsung customer for life. P.S No wonder Samsung has so many haters. Always taking there products to the next level.
