GOOD JOB SAMSUNG ‼️‼️
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is good. I highly recommend it for people that work in places where you need to hear what is going on around you. If people will be talking you, but you also want to hear your music without taking the headphones out of your ear, these open abient sound earbuds are perfect. In my case, I use them for 6 hours straight, but there is a certain way to place them in your ears for comfort; however if you don't place them right in your ear it will start hurting after a while. Same thing with the sound quality; you have to wear them the right way to get the maximum audio quality and that good bass especially if you download a good equalizer app. I love how it looks in the ear. Its definitely a very cool and different design then we are use to and for the price point they are selling at right now, they are definitely good. (But watch out, if you put them in correctly and you turn up the volume all the way up, you will surely not hear much or anything around you)

Solid Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer these to the previous Buds iteration. For me the open design fits better than the enclosed versions that other buds use. What I like about these is that they don't obnoxiously stick out like the other designs out there. For me they are quite comfortable and sit well in my ear. The sound is surprisingly good too, I've haven't tried other brands so I don't have much to compare to. But the sound is clear and bass strong. It really helps if you personalize your sound through your phones settings to get more out of them if you're displeased with the out-of-the-box experience. My only gripe with them is the placement of the touch controls. The sensor is right where you normally go to adjust the placement of the beans to get the speaker facing properly. You also may accidentally touch them and stop music or what you're watching. After a while you get used to it and learn not to touch the area but it can get annoying if you do.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are perfect for me. Connection with my Note10+ is flawless, battery life is great, sound quality is extremely good. Great full range sound with heavy bass when listening to songs with heavy bass and better overall sound quality than AirPods. Range is good, but a few feet less than airpods. I use these mainly at the gym and while running, they fit my ears very well and dont budge, but when letting my mother and brother try them we found they didnt fit in their (much smaller) ears so thats something to consider. The active noise canceling is good, but mainly blocks low-end sound like the hum of a central AC or rumble of a car exhaust, doesnt do much for stuff like a vacuum, clanking weights, or any other hissing type noise. Overall well worth the money and I'd recommend and buy again

Most comfortable earbuds!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BLUF: Great fit & comfort, never fall out, small size, good battery life, good sound, great mic quality for calls I’ve been looking to replace my last set of earbuds (Razer Hammerhead - awful customer support) and I find any in-ear buds uncomfortable and itchy after about an hour max. I wanted something comfortable with good mics for phone calls. I saw a lot of negative reviews that these fell out of people’s ears, but it couldn’t have been worse than the Razer ones. So glad I tried these because they haven’t fallen out once. I’ve worn them for hours at work (I’m in an open work area) and no discomfort. These aren’t going to block out all sound, but that wasn’t my goal. I use them at a fairly low volume and can hear just enough around me to notice when someone is talking to me

“Samsung, Please never discontinue this design”
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, these are not the kind of headphones that will knock your socks off. If you didnt catch that indication by the price, then thats me saying it. However, these are the kind of headphones that have decent sound, subpar Active Noise Cancelation, and in my opinion, a perfect design that executes a simple fit that i have yet to see anywhere else on the market. I have tested Beats, other Samsung models, Airpods (base and pro), and more… and the only model that came remotely close to ear-fit without fatigue over extended use were the AirPods Pro 2 closely followed by the Pixel Buds Pro. These are simple, they’re pleasing to the eye - while also taking on the approach of almost being unnoticeable depending on the color you get. These are one of my favorite models when it comes to easy use and convenient fit. As I said the audio won’t blow you away but it’s also not something that you’re going to regret buying either. And I won’t bore you with all the technical jargon as most people in this price range are just looking for a decent pair of earbuds that aren’t a waste of money. And considering these used to be up in the high $100’s and have since dropped due to other models that Samsung has brought forth, I would say these are a great buy! As I said they do have subpar active noise cancellation. If you’re looking for premiere ANC then go with AirPods Pro or Sony’s WF/XM4’s. But let’s be honest, that wasn’t the main goal of these buds and with that being stated you can forgive the lack of exceptional clarity when blocking out unwanted noise. Personally I leave the ANC off, especially when I found out, by experience, that it’s just better to leave them off and gain some extra battery life. On that note, the battery life is adequate. I don’t use both buds at the same time very much because 9 times out of 10 I need to have an ear free for various reasons. But even so, they do a good job at not needing to be constantly in the case. The battery within the case is pretty good as well and the fact that it has USB-C brings on one more added benefit when matching to modern standards. I’ve used these via smart TV’s, laptops, Samsung phone, OnePlus and Pixel Phones, as well as the ubiquitous iPhone and there are no complications across any of those devices. Obviously they’re a little more cohesive with any Samsung Phone, but not enough that I would discourage you if you own any of the other branded phones. With all of this being said, I truly hope that Samsung never retires this design. Obviously this particular model will eventually be discontinued BUT I hope they offer a Galaxy Buds Live 2 before that happens, retaining the exact same design with some updated internal specs. I would be surprised if the majority of you didn’t find these buds to be the perfect match for what you’re looking for. They’re a mid-range model while slowly falling to budget-range pricing. At the very least, try them out and see if they’re worth it for you and your set of expectations.

Buds that do what they're supposed to
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these for my son. He's a Samsung guy so these paired and worked flawlessly with his S whatever. Great battery life and excellent sound without any kind of distortion. Clear highs and mids with surprisingly tight bass (all via my son). Well worth a look.

Significant upgrade from Buds+, w/ compromises
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the true best wireless earbuds I've ever used, and I've owned about 6 different types, including the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. I'll focus on how these Buds Live (a.k.a. Galaxy Beans, to the non-tech world) compare to the Buds+ only. Fit: They sit securely in my ears for hours (Isn't this the top priority?), without plugging up the actual ear canal. Amazing. My previous Buds+ were CONSTANTLY falling out, no matter which size of fitting I used, nor how hard I jammed them into my ears. And even better, the Buds Live are better suited for side sleepers. Sound: Best sound quality of any true wireless earbuds I've had. The catch is that because of the open ear design, outside noises prevent this rich sound quality from being fully appreciated. Active Noise Cancelling DOES work, even though it's not very comprehensive because the earbuds to not have a sound-isolating seal. Proof: When the battery dies in one earbud, I suddenly hear the previously muffled sounds from my environment come back to life. Despite reviews to the contrary, the ANC works. Speaking of battery life, though... Battery: It's more than sufficient for daily use, especially with the 22 hours, 1 minute that I got (with ANC activated) by ultra-quick recharging inside the case. But for sleeping with ambient music on, it's a big step down from the crazy 11-hour batteries of the Buds+. The new Buds Live maxed out at 6 hours, 4 minutes each... Not long enough for sleeping. But again, the case provided nearly 3 additional recharges. And the earbuds got a 50% charge in just over 10 minutes! Charging time for the case itself was about 2:20 (And like the Buds+, the case has the option for wireless charging from a Galaxy S or Note phone!). Specifically, the case quickly charged my Galaxy Beans to 53% in 15 minutes, with a full earbud recharge in 1 hour, 3 minutes. Style: Love it. I wish the Mystic Bronze color was less pink, but the shape itself is pleasingly subtle. None of that unsightly AirPods noodle-dangling to comically draw everyone's attention to your ears. Bottom line: Galaxy Buds Live are highly recommended over the Galaxy Buds+. Best true wireless earbuds for the price. Stays in ear, has excellent sound quality and decent ANC. Only downgrades from the Buds+ are the individual buds' battery life (remedied by the quick charging case) and the lack of blocking outside noise (partially remedied by the ANC).

One of a kind ear buds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So comfortable and with active noise cancellation. The app makes them usable on IOS as well as Android. They don’t fall out while not inserting into my ear canal making my ears sore like others that push in.

They're great, If they fit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are great, if you can get them to fit your ear well. Unfortunately I couldn't get them to stay snugly in my ear for long periods (4-5 hours) without feeling discomfort. This was a HUGE factor in my return. I owned them for about 20 days before deciding to return them. I was hoping I'd grow accustomed to them but I just couldn't. That doesn't mean they're bad, they just aren't for me. Here's a few things I noticed during my time owning them. The ANC is really just a gimmick. It does help drown out a few deep tones but it not worth the battery life sacrifice and you can barely tell it's on. The older generation buds do a much better job of blocking out ambient noise. As far as audio quality goes, they sound decent. I definitely like them more than my girlfriend's airpods, but I still found myself reaching for my old Galaxy Buds anytime I wanted to listen to music while working. This is just my personal preference, I know there are plenty of people that love these buds. Where this really shines though is when you'd like to have music playing in the background while still being aware of your surroundings. While wearing these, it's easy to carry on a conversation without feeling a need to take them out. I found myself reaching for them anytime I was out shopping since I never had to remove them at the register to hear the cashier. The charging case is just as terrible as the rest of the galaxy buds line up. There is no locking mechanism, so a simple drop from waist high will cause this thing to explode like a grande and send you to your knees looki g for your missing buds. So long as you know this, you can just take a bit of caution to prevent dropping them. As a Note 10+ owner, I found that they sync pretty well with multiple devices. They pair just like a Galaxy Watch/Galaxy Buds, and can switch seemlesly between galaxy devices. I was able to switch between my Note 10+ and my Tab S6 with ease. It would be nice to have them pair to both simultaneously, but I understand why they can't. To switch between them, it's as easy as clicking devices (smart things) in the notification panel and selecting the earbuds. You can also have them paired to your phone and use your phone to tell them to switch to another previously paired device which is pretty handy. Battery life on these were great. They use Samsung's new chipset which handles battery consumption really well. I never had then die on me even after using them for an entire 9 hour work day. I really do recommend them, I just can't own them myself due to fitment. They fit my girlfriend's ears wonderfully and she said they fit snuggly without even feeling like they're there. Hopefully their next pair works out for me, but until then I'll stick with my Galaxy Buds.

Good phones, strange software
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones seem to work well. I rode on several days of airline travel and they do a good job of substantially cutting down the engine noise and I can hear movies very clearly. Music sounds good. My ears often hurt with headphones squeezing into them but these have been comfortable for many hours of continuous use, they don't hurt and I forget they are there. Do be sure you are taking the time to fit them properly, it was a little different than other earbuds I've used. Battery life is great, I watched a number of movies with noise canceling on, and just put the buds back in the wireless case and they charged right back up quickly. I went days without charging the case and it never stopped charging the earbuds. The complaint I have is about pairing them and the software. The software seems good, and I like being able to use it to adjust sound properties, but I wish it integrated better with my iPhone. Pairing both earbuds took several tries and I was initially frustrated. I haven't tried un-pairing them and pairing them to something else, I assume I will have the same issues. Overall great for sound, noise cancellation, battery life and comfort. A little annoyed with pairing and software (wish I didn't have to use it) but has been OK once I did it the first time.

Unique Design with Surprising Results
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After years of holding onto my wired earbuds I was finally ready to try wireless buds. I have an iPhone but Apple AirPods don’t fit me well and are uncomfortable. I thought the AirPods Pro were too expensive and I also looked at the Jabras, Galaxy Buds+, and the noice canceling Sony’s. To be honest, I didn’t like how they stuck out of the ears, reminded me of the thing Lt Uhura wore in the original Star Trek. I watched a couple YouTube reviews and got these jelly beans to try out. I wasn’t expecting much in terms of sound so I was completely blown away. Fit: Sits in the outer ear with the speaker end pressed up to the ear canal. Generally a comfortable fit, but part of my outer ear felt a bit raw after some extended use because it was not used to anything being there. Now that I have been using them more often, my ears are used to it and I don’t have any more discomfort. I can put these in and lay down in bed without them getting dislodged. I have jogged with them and they sit securely in my ears but you can tell they aren’t purpose built for exercise. Between the water rating and design I think the exercise experience may vary a lot by person. Sound: This was a big surprise, really good sound with noticeable low end. They sound better than the wired ear buds that fit in my ear canals. The sound is clear, good separation, a broad sound stage, and is not muddled. The app has a few sound setting, however I wish you could create a more custom sound to dial it in a bit more. Noise cancellation: I turned this off in the app, I could tell there was some impact on lower frequencies but tbh it wasn’t pronounced enough for me to put the extra strain on battery life. For my use cases, the sound and experience is good enough to skip this feature. Battery life: Good so far, I haven’t used them for more that 3-4 hours at a time but they have held up. Call Quality: I use them for conference calls and no one has complained or commented on my call quality. Similarly I hear my calls crystal clear and don’t have any issues with Bluetooth connections. Issues: This is my second set, my first set had a couple issues: 1. the case battery would drop significantly overnight, even when the buds themselves were almost fully charged. 2. Something happened to the left bud so it wasn’t charging, not playing anything and the app could not connect to it. The charging LED was red and nothing worked. Of course the day I took it back the bud reconnected but it was down to 20% charge even though it hadn’t been used. After switching out buds, the second set has been problem free. But these for the unobtrusive fit, unique looks and really good sound. Do not buy these for noise cancellation or as your dedicated gym buds.
