The problem is they have what is in my opinion a design flaw. There is a filter in the back to keep ear wax from getting in on the speaker and over time, especially if you are using these while sweating and whatnot, like working or running or biking, that filter will build up with wax and you will hardly be able to hear these things. Cleaning it is not something they wanted you to do but it can be done, but both times I tried to the issue came back again but faster. Got maybe 3 days out of them. Don't buy them despite all their other redeeming qualities.

I haven't the expertise to know an average ear shape/size but I believe that my ears are of the average. These ear buds constantly fell out of my ears while doing minimum normal head movements. A slight tilt to the right or left and out they would fall. And I am, or have been, a loyal Samsung product buyer/user. The sound and features are also below my previous experience with the Bud+ model. The battery life may be good but it was less than a couple of hours when I used ANC or the environmental noise technology.

Typically don't like ears buds cause they fall out constantly for me but, these have been great. I liked them so much i bought a pair for my wife also.
