Excellent earbuds but pricey for me.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own several earbuds and these sound the best. However I have tried Bose and they sound better. These do have a way to make what you are listening to sound spacious. They are great at noise canceling but I can just a little bit still hear the fan in the room if no music is playing. Are they worth $200, I don't think so.

Great Sound - Poor Comfort
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I depend on reviews to make my purchases so I was compelled to share my experience with the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. I have owned my buds for approximately three months. I have only used them about 8 times to date. The good news first: The buds have excellent sound quality. If I were judging the sound quality I would rate them at 4.5. They are nearly perfect in this aspect in my opinion. I am not an audiophile however I do enjoy music and therefore typically purchase quality brands. My over the ear headphones are Bose Quiet Comfort and Sony XM1000. I also still own Bose wired earbuds that performed well but I was ready to ditch the limitations of the wire. My point is I will pay for quality. The bad news: Despite the sound quality I rated these buds as a 3.0. My reason for the lower rating is based on the level of "discomfort" offered by the buds. I have found a couple of issues with them. My first issue is the become uncomfortable in the ear canal after a couple of hours of listening. I was willing to put up with this shortcoming because I wanted to like the earbuds. This brings me to my second issue. Apparently I am allergic to the silicone plugs on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. I have tried to use the ear buds a few times. Three times including this past weekend my ear canal was raw after a two hour listening session. I did some research today and found there are a few complaints about ear canal rash associated with these ear buds. I hope to keep using the ear buds so today I purchased foam ear plugs from that big name online retailer. I chose the only ones available for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. The foam replacements have their issues but my hope is I can at least listen to my buds without experiencing the ear rash. I have not yet contacted Samsung directly. I have read they are not very receptive to those who have called and commented in the reviews I read today. My suggestion is for Samsung to improve the silicone material or offer options for buds made of a different material. I will update my recommendation after contacting Samsung directly. In the meantime I hope my review helps someone considering these buds.

not perfect but step in the right direction
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.for what their price tag is they are good. with the installed ear tips the ANC was disapointing at first but after i switches the tips they made a difference. ambiant sound is very robotic on high so i keep it on medium or the one right below it. i like you can customize things with the wearable app. i tesred them out on a video call with my surface pro which is an android device. and it was really nice and all in ANC so was really good. takes a bit to get them snug in your ear but when you get the seal its very good. giving it 4 stars only because of the whole ambiant noise situation.

They dont fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Galaxy Buds Pro the day they came out, and I already own the Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Live. They all fit in my ear (the best fit coming from the Galaxy Buds Plus, the other two buds fit well too, but I liked the fit of the Buds Plus the best). The Galaxy Buds Pro sound pretty good, they are louder and more bassy then the Buds Plus. The Buds Pro won't fit in my ears. I tried all the tips from large to small size, the small tip go in my ear but even then the earbuds will not stay in my ear. The medium tips simply won't fit in my ear canal at all. The left bud stays in, but falls out with a little bit of head shaking. The right bud won't stay in at all and falls out when I move my lips (which also moves my ear, like smiling) or even tilt my head. On my Galaxy Buds Plus I have the medium size wingtips and ear tips as well, and they don't even fall out while working out. So what is the deal with the Galaxy Buds Pro? Do I just have weird ears. My ears look normal as far as I'm aware, I even talked to a friend and he said my ears looked normal. So I wanted to see if anyone has similar issues. Because everyone on youtube seems to enjoy how they fit. The sound is louder then the Buds Plus and the audio sounds better because it is louder, but the fact that they don't fit at all is a real let down.

NICE Bass
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the original galaxy buds and the thing i can say is that the comparison between the two are miles apart. The old buds breaks out often while it is paired in bluetooth with my galaxy cell. With the buds pro, never once I experienced the same. The pro has the best bass I ever had from an ear buds. On par with Bose earbuds i used to have. I am glad i made this purchased and i have no regret whatsoever. I got mine today at Costco for the sale price of 160.00 US dollar. Try it, I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed.

Great buds with a fatal flaw.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In almost every rewspect, these are great earbuds. Excellent sound, Android support is excellent, battery life is much better than average. BUT... For me there is one big problem. Fit. They are unbearably painful to wear, particularly in my left ear. The buds are designed to press against the outer ear to short two sensor contact poiunts, telling the buds that they have been inserted. This part of the bud is hard plastic and presses painfully against the cartilage of my outer ear. This is HIGHTLY dependent on the anatomy of the outer ear. For many this won't be an issue. For me, it's a deal-breaker.

DONT even bother.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give this a 2 just because of sound quality and stylish colors. THE FIT IS HORRIBLE. as a matter a fact the Buds + have a better fitment because of the wingtip. After trying sooo hard to love samsung and their overpriced tech. I regret to inform that I am going to apple. I mean how is it that I buy their latest phone and instead of working on the current Note 20 ultra they release a newer phone. They released 3 earbuds instead of making one perfect earbud. I am just done. Apple here I come. the switch is going to be a bit difficult BUT! You never really see an Iphone user switch to Android.

Snug but odd fit. Everything else is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not generally one that complains about the fit of earbuds. I have many. These however, don't get a good seal. They stay in, but I notice they made the tips more oval to match the human ear but I feel like sound is being lost now. Everything else is great!

Perfect!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these earbuds for three years. I have a lot of issues with my ears, so I have never been able to wear in ear headphones. These have been a gamechanger. I love all of the features, I love the feel, and I love how they stay in! I have no idea how I'd do anything without them. Cannot recomment enough.
