Nice if you only plan to use inside

I've had these for 2 months now and mainly use them while I'm out walking my dog. I have never been able to out my phone in a pocket and have these continue to work. Even if it's a completely mesh pocket on the outside of my leggings. It's crazy that you have to keep your phone in your hand the whole time just to keep a connection with the buds. I've tried everything Samsung support suggested...pairing them with another device and I've also tried cleaning them (which didn't make any sense since these have had the issue from day one) and neither made any difference. I've given up and just went back to my old Beats wireless headphones. They have a short in them but they still work better than these. Such a waste of money.
