    Very good with some flaws

Short version: These are worth getting, but they need some EQ to get them to sound their best. They are comfortable, lightweight, and the case has a small footprint. The features are great for this price point. Long Version I'm an android, Galaxy Note 9 User. With some tweaking these can sound amazing. As far as features go, these ticked all the boxes for me. Those boxes are wireless charging, independent earbud use, touch controls, pass through hearing, and fins/wings to hold them in ear. You'd be surprised at how many true wireless earbuds that list eliminates, even ones that are supposed to have better sound. Aura Blue looks amazing in person. The case is sort of metallic in color and it is hard to photograph. The pictures on the website and even on the box don't do it justice. They are very deep blue in person. As soon as I saw these I wanted them. The buds themselves have a mix of gloss for the touchpad, and matte for the buds. They're not as slippery as the black version which I really like. The fins and eartips could use some extra sizes such as extra large and extra small. There are a wide variety of ear cartilage shapes and the more options the better. Speaking of sound, these sound very flat and neutral with stock settings. These have a dual driver setup with one dedicated toward the low end/bass. However, your first impression will be, "where's the bass?" Instead of being tuned bass heavy, they are tuned relatively flat. Still, due to the dedicated bass driver, they can handle heavier bass settings in post EQ processing. I'm glad these are not tuned bass heavy but this leads to my first gripe. The EQ in the wearables app is straight up garbage. It is lacking in any real control. The presets do not highlight the capabilities of the drivers. The "Dynamic" setting sounded the best on the original Galaxy Buds, but in the Buds+ it created a very annoying harsh sound in the upper frequencies. It made "S" sounds in vocals too sibilant (think of a snake hiss sound), same thing with high hats. I found leaving it on normal or soft sounds best, then I EQ in two, that's right, two other locations. If you are on android and you have your music on your device as opposed to streaming it, you NEED to get the app Poweramp. It has a very robust EQ that supersedes the phone's global EQ. On Samsung phones, the default system wide EQ will lower your volume if you boost a frequency higher than one "tick", PowerAmp mitigates this. I add bass and boost upper mids with powerAmp. This thickens the low end and makes vocals and guitars extra clear. The second app I use for EQ is powerEQ. This allows me to access another level of bass that triggers a sub bass subwoofer type of low end that is very pleasant. I add a few points of bass there, a little bit of surround, and here's the most important part: I add gain to the signal. This gain give you back the volume you use from boosting the bass signal in either powerEQ or the android global EQ (if you're not using power amp) With this combination of EQ tricks the galaxy buds + feel like a clean platform for you to shape to your liking. This could ALL be avoided if Samsung gave us a 10 band graphic EQ or even better a parametric EQ. One can only hope. If you don't want to bother with those apps, make sure you at least turn on Dolby Atmos if you are on galaxy phones, use the advanced sound tuning (the one that gives you the hearing test) and it will boost a bunch of frequencies for you. Bottom line, post processing is your friend. My 2nd gripe was the battery life of the case. I went through 3 pairs of galaxy buds (two of them through amazon) because the case would drain very quickly. What was happening is the buds would reach 100% charge. Then for no good reason one would drop to 99% and the case would do its thing to charge it to 100% again. This loop would happen several times until the bud settled. For example. Using the buds for an hour would leave them at around 90% battery. The case would be at 100% and drain to about 89 to get the buds back to 100%. I would check the battery and every 20 minutes I would lose a few percent until the case battery would settle at around 67-70%. All to bring back about an hour's worth of charge. Ridiculous! It has to be a bug where the case thinks one of the buds is not fully charged. Anyway, I returned two pairs to amazon and decided to go for these because of the color and I figured Best Buy would have a different batch that might not be affected by what i'm calling a bug/defect. So far I'm right. The Aura Blue color have not drained and it looks like i'l be getting closer to the 11 hours than the 5 I was getting before. If it starts happening to these I'll update the review. Due to this flaw I made sure I got the extended warranty. If this is how it starts, I can't imagine where battery life will be in a year or so. Battery life of the earbuds themselves is stellar. I left the volume at 50 and let music play until they both died. They lasted for 12 hours. Ambient mode was off, and I wasn't using the touch pads. I literally left the buds on my desk playing music. I'd pick them up every so often to make sure sound was still coming out of them. In real world usage it will be less than 12 hours because of volume, ambient mode , and touch pad use. Ergonomics are good. I Like the touch pads and I like that you can lock them. I lock them when I work out so that when I wipe my sweat I don't accidentally trigger a pause/volume/ whatever. I wish you could use gestures instead of taps. It would be cool to swipe up and down for volume, and left and right to change songs or activate voice assistant etc. Call quality is almost excellent. It is not as good as speaking directly into your phone. It is a slightly softer presentation than that. However it is worlds better than the old Galaxy Buds and even some over ear headphones I've used. These do not sound muffled and they do a pretty good job of isolating your voice from background noise. No one I've been on a call with has asked if i'm using headphones or asked me to repeat things. Lack of noise cancelling is not an issue for me. I think these do a great job of isolating external sounds and once the music starts I can't really hear anything. I had these and the Sony wf sp800n at the same time. The noise cancelling on those was only ok. It dulled low frequency noise but introduced a bit of hiss and you could still hear high frequency constant noises. For example the hum of the air conditioners compressor was muted, but the chirp of its fan was not. These isolate enough noise that it feels like wearing earplugs. So if you're going to be crossing the street you should probably use ambient mode. Personally noise cancelling is not a must for me, if it is for you then its omission will be a deal breaker for you. Final Thoughts: My perfect Galaxy Buds would have swipe gestures for the touch pads, a 10 band parametric eq, and a bigger battery for the case. Other than that I think these are a solid buy. I've attached screen shots of my power amp, powerEQ and wearables settings.

Excellent Improvement to the Galaxy Buds

When I first tried the original Galaxy Buds, they were a revelation to me because they were the first true wireless earbuds I ever had. I have since owned and used different over the ear noise cancelling headphones, and true wireless earbuds with noise cancelling. However, I still found myself very excited to try out the new Galaxy Buds+ and so far here are my thoughts: WHAT THESE DO WELL: - The portability and ease of use remain the greatest quality of the Galaxy Buds line. The Buds+ case is so small that they can easily go in your pocket or throw them in your bag without being too bulky. After the initial set up (which is quick), all I had to do is flip open the case and they popped up on my Galaxy S10+ which was nice. - The design of the Buds+ themselves are once again discrete and out of the way. Everything is self-contained with nothing that sticks out away from the Bud and I think that is the way these true earbuds should be designed to look! - Another thing these maintain are the Wireless charging and USB-C charging interface. Both are very forward thinking and make it easy to charge them with the rest of your USB-C products. - The sound is really a great step up for the Buds+ headphones! You can tell there is better clarity and deeper bass than the original Buds. Overall I am very impressed with the audio immersion these supply while being in a such a small package. - Lastly, the Buds+ are excellent workout headphones! Seriously they never pop out no matter if I’m running, walking, at the gym, or playing sports. Really they work well in any environment. WHAT THESE ARE MISSING: - The biggest feature the Buds+ are missing are Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). I thought for sure Samsung would add this feature to the Buds+ given that other companies have done with same with their true wireless earbuds but I understand that Samsung wanted to maintain the small design and improve battery life in exchange for no ANC. - That being said, I compared the Buds+ to more expensive true wireless earbuds with ANC and you can definitely tell the difference in the two. However, in my opinion as of early 2020, ANC in true wireless earbuds are nothing compared to that of ANC in over the ear style headphones. Sure it creates a vacuum affect but when you are not playing music it does not drown out sound that much. - Other than that, these headphones really have everything you would want in a pair of true wireless earbuds. GALAXY BUDS VS GALAXY BUDS+ - The main question I suspect people will have are: why would I buy these over the original Galaxy Buds? Yes, the two devices largely look the same besides some minor cosmetic changes. Still, there are four main reasons why you should choose these over the original Buds: Better Sound Quality, insane battery life, improved calls, and Apple Compatibility. - As stated above, the sound is a much needed improvement to the original Buds. I used the Buds for their portability and ease of use, knowing the sound was just fine. Now I will use the Buds+ knowing that they can perform so much better and will be that much more enjoyable to use. - The battery life is not even a competition. The Buds+ have 11 hours of listening on one charge plus the case provides an additional full charge meaning its 22 hours total. The Original Buds had 6 hours per charge and 13 hours with the case. - The Buds+ also have 3 total microphones compared to the Buds 2 microphones. I have definitely noticed better call quality while using these which are a huge plus for me because I love using the Buds+ for calls. - Lastly, Samsung released an Apple iOS app for the Buds+ which make them much more useful when connecting them to an Apple device. That might not be super useful to some of you, but I think it's always better to have more compatibility than less. BOTTOM LINE: - After a week or month of using the Galaxy Buds+ I believe they will quickly become your go to earbuds. Sure you may get better sound out of more expensive headphones or noise cancelling earbuds, but you will not get the do it all utility of the Buds+ at this price point anywhere else. They sound great, have nice call quality, are simple to use, will last forever, and can be used anywhere you need to use headphones. The Buds+ will once again be the only headphones I use everyday and I think it will be for you too.

Overall Excellent In-Ear Buds For Non-Audiophiles

So I am no audiophile. I do however still want a clean sound. I use these at the office (home until the shelter-in is lifted) and for walks. I both listen to music and make phone calls. I was using Bose SoundLink AE wireless headset for awhile, but wanted in-ear buds instead. I love the Bose, they sound amazing and have a great battery life, but I just cannot stand having over-ear headsets. So I wanted to find some true wireless earbuds that sounded great, with a clean sound and nice bass profile. The Good: - Price -- although they don't have ANC, they are priced well below other premium earbuds and sound great with great features and build quality. - Excellent sound IMO - Nice bass without drowning out the mids and highs -- I used the app (Galaxy Wearable) to change the EQ to Dynamic and it sounds awesome! Also, if you Google it, there are some great YouTube tricks to update the settings on your phone to further max out the sound quality. Note, I have a Galaxy S10+. - Great sound quality on phone calls - Volume -- I hate when earbuds are low volume. These bad boys can get super loud. BUT, for some weird reason out of the box the max volume is very low. I almost returned them, as the instructions doesn't tell you how to increase the volume to their full potential. Thankfully I found a YouTube video that walks you through maxing out the volume. - Like the ambient sound feature for phone calls (which has different levels) - Very comfortable in my ear -- can wear for hours - They don't fall out -- I can go for brisk walks and runs and they stay in without losing a seal (which is important to have good sound) - The battery life is great -- 11 hours + another 11 hours with charging case - They look great -- very sleek and don't stick too far out of your ears - Solid build -- I bought a pair of Mpow M5 earbuds and although they were pretty nice, they had some quality issues - IPX2 rating -- good enough for working out or walks without worrying about damaging them from sweating - Tap control - I didn't want to have to click a button with earbuds, as that can get annoying. The Buds+ are pretty good with the sensitivity of the taps and the controls are just what I need: volume, pause, skip, answer calls, etc. - Customizable with the app -- can check battery status, customize sound with the preset EQ settings, and more. - Pairing -- maybe because I have a Samsung Galaxy phone, but as soon as I opened the case they paired right away with my phone - Independent ear buds -- these ear buds can be used independently, as opposed to the right ear bud being the main bud and the left dependent, which can cause bluetooth sync issues. Plus, if one of your ear buds is lower on battery, you can use the other for calls. I also think the sound quality is better with independent setup. - Noise isolation -- I had to put on the large eartips and are able to seat them nicely in my ears, which blocks out external noises very well. I don't need ANC as the isolation is fine for me. - Charging case -- very nice and solid. Love the magnets and the case is small enough to easily carry around. - Auto-reconnect -- they automatically reconnect to my phone when I open the case The Bad (there's nothing bad with them, but just less good LOL): - Can only pair with 1 device at a time. I guess you can pair more than one Samsung Galaxy device with the app -- but for non-Samsung devices, this is not possible. I have to unpair them from my phone in order to pair with my laptop for example. - Having to put the earbuds in the case to pair. I tried pairing while they were in my ears, to change devices, but didn't work for me. - No active noise cancelling (ANC) -- but for me that's not a problem as they seat in my ears well and isolate outside noise quite well. - Poor documentation -- I think it's crazy that I was nearly about to return these because the volume was so low and the sound quality initially was weak. But once I found some great tips on YouTube it changed everything - Sometimes taking them out of my ears and putting them into the case, I accidentally tap them and start music playing or something -- nothing serious. Bottom line, I think for most users, especially if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, these are fantastic. They are not perfect by any means, but all around great and I am pleased with my purchase.

    Versatile and sound great

The idea of spending over $100 on earbuds doesn't sit easy with some people, and even I was hesitant before purchasing the Galaxy Buds+. When my 15-year-old Sony wired earbuds broke, I did quite a bit of research to see if jumping on the wireless earbuds trend would be worth it, and to figure out which wireless buds to get if so. I'm glad I was able to get the Galaxy Buds+ when they were on sale at the deepest discount they had ever been to date. They sound great, they're easy to use, they fit nicely, they're fairly customizable, and the battery life is excellent. The idea of customizing the sound is maybe a little overhyped in some reviews/articles about the Samsung Galaxy Buds+. You can certainly change the sound settings in the Galaxy Wearable app - and you definitely should change from the default setting, but you're choosing presets rather than doing your own tuning. I'm fine with having presets, but if you're an all-out audiophile and expecting to be presented with a bunch of switches and sliders for full-blown customizability, you won't find that. Normal is the default setting, and it's okay, but I've found Dynamic to be the best. Clear is alright, better than Normal, but still not as good as Dynamic. The Bass Boost setting technically does boost the bass just slightly, but it also makes things kind of muddy - heck, muffled really, it's actually on the quiet side. Don't bother with Bass Boost. Set the buds to Dynamic - that's the way to go! The sound is great when listening to music (of all sorts of genres) and when on conference calls. There are a lot of wireless earbuds out there at a variety of price points, and of course they all sound different. Everything I read said that the Galaxy Buds+ are the best for calls, and these are really quite good on calls. People's voices are clear, the sound is detailed and accurate, there's no hissing or static. As for the quality of the mics, others had no trouble at all understanding me. I sounded loud and clear. There's also an ambient sound feature that's kind of interesting to experiment with. Even with the different levels of ambient sound enabled, things are clear. Outside noises can be sort of digital sounding in moments which are otherwise silent, but still clear, compared to using ambient sound while listening to music. Touch controls are customizable and very nice, though if you touch the buds in just the right way while adjusting the fit, you might end up changing the volume or pausing/playing audio. Using the earbuds with multiple devices is rather easy. It's really pair and play. You don't need to do any complicated procedures with turning the buds off or holding any buttons down and waiting for certain notifications every single time. Pairing to something other than your phone (like a Windows laptop), you do have to press and hold the touchpads on both buds and anticipate eventual beeps, then you'll see it in the list of Bluetooth devices to connect to. But after pairing, it's so easy to switch between my laptop and my phone. The battery life is as good as described. It's incredible. They can keep going for hours. After a rather busy 9-hour work day with lots of calls and some occasional music, toggling between my laptop and my phone, there was still 59% battery (that's not nine straight hours of earbud use, but probably a spread-out total of around 5 or 6 hours). The charging case is the same size as a Matchbox car. There's nothing wrong with the case, no bulkiness or difficulty of operability. You get a light outside to see the battery status of the case, and you get a light inside to see the battery status of the earbuds. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are great. They sound really good, they're easy to use on different devices, and the battery lasts for a long time. There might be a lot of buds out there that sound alright while listening to music, but the call quality sets these apart from the rest. Music is good, calls are good, the Galaxy Buds+ will not disappoint!

    Best EarBuds I've ever owned

When I first unpackaged the EarBuds so surprised by how easy it was to connect the buds to my phone. All I had to do was connect once and every time I opened the case it would automatically connect. I was messing with the Wear app and I passed by the ambient mode section so I tested each one individually, and really liked that I could still hear what I wanted t hear to I went with the medium setting of course that is what I prefer. The part of the Buds that had me in aww was the touch controllers they are very sensitive to touch and I love I can customize the touch with the Wear app. In all I am very satisfied with the purchase that I made. : )

I’m a runner, and I have a hard time finding earbuds that stay in my ear without having to constantly adjust them. These are hands down the best pair of earbuds that I’ve ever used when it comes to running. They fit in my ear snuggly and block out enough noise when I need them to so I’m not distracted. I use them with my iPhone 11 Pro Max and have no issues with connectivity.

I only bought these originally because my Jaybird Vista earbuds broke and needed to wait for them to send me a replacement. During the wait I needed earbuds for work so I bought these. Let me add that I bought these galaxy earbuds almost 2 years ago and the jaybird vistas that came in the mail are still brand new in packaging nearly 2 years later. Only thing I miss about jaybird is the added bass. Besides that these galaxy buds work flawlessly with my iPhone. Battery lasts 5-6 hours in each earbud. That’s nearly 80% of my shift covered by one ear bud lol. If my phone rings and I don’t have earbud in I yank earbud out of case and within a second or two it’s connected to call. I have zero tolerance for crappy electronics so I personally give these earbuds 5 stars. No regrets. I posted pics. They’re worn out because they’re 2 years old.

Hello I own the Samsung buds and now the Samsung buds +. I really love these new buds. Battery life is amazing all day battery and then some. I have no problem wearing these and they say put all day long and they are comfortable. I have owned the Anker Soundcore liberty 2's and the Anker Soundcore liberty 2 pros (battery life was not there on both. Rated for 8 hours sometimes I wouldn't get 6 hours. The problem on both the right side would drain faster then the left side. For me that's a big problem.) Now the Samsung buds do drain different then one another but they are only a few percentage points away from each other. Call quality is great even without noise cancellation. Music is very impressive as well with there 2 way speaker system. Watching a trusted YouTuber testing the Apple airpods pros vs Samsung buds+. The airpods with it's noise cancellation on it would block out allot of the background noise. But lowered the voice of the caller. Meaning if you weren't paying close attention to the caller you would easily get lost in the background noise. Now take in mind that I am no expert on noise cancellation. This is my personal opinion. Samsung however in noisy background environment. Would amp up the caller voice. Making it seem you were right there next to the person talking to them. And would have no problem paying attention to the other person. Also if your worried about scratching or fingerprinting up your charging case. Order a Sahara case for your charging case. I ordered and received the light blue buds and they are beautiful. My original Samsung buds were white.

*Don't forget to DL the Galaxy Wearable app if you go with these. It allows you to adjust settings otherwise not adjustable, like what buttons do what, set the equalizer, toggle ambient sound mode and update the products software and more. * I'm not real big on earbuds bc most don't seem to fit the best but these fit perfectly. They've never fallen out even with light/medium workouts. They work on anything, not just Samsung devices. I'm pretty sure they do work with Apple devices but I'm not 100% certain so double check if needed. They take a type C charger that allows for a nice fast charge. They're also wireless charge compatible. I got the red and it's a nice, bright firetruck red. The case is built nice and sturdy, while small enough to comfortably fit in your pocket. That is unless you wear those skinny jeans, in that case you can put them in your purse/fannypack etc. They have very good sound quality and the battery life last quite a long time on one charge. I've never used them for phone calls so idk about the call quality but it's said to work well.

I would like to start by saying that these are some of the best wireless pair of earbuds that I have purchased. I was able to easily pair these earbuds to my galaxy s10 plus within a few seconds. The case is small, and it fits easily in the pocket. It charges via usb-c, and this allows me to only have to worry about having one charger. The audio quality is phenomenal. I did happen to test the battery life, and the earbuds managed to last slightly over 11 hours. When using the correct ear-tips, they provide a good seal, and I find that they isolate noise quite well. The call quality was really good, and my friend on the other end could not tell a difference between the earbuds and the phone mic quality on the s10 plus. The earbuds were able to easily connect to both my Macbook pro and my HP Spectre, and they worked flawlessly. I use these to go on my daily jog as well, and they do not fall out at all despite the rapid shaking of my head. I do sweat while I workout, and the earbuds continue to work well thanks to the IPX2 certification. The touch controls on the earbuds work quite well, and I have had no issues. The interface on the Samsung wearable app is quite good too. It allows the user to track the battery life and adjust the equalizer to suit the type of music that one chooses to listen to. The find my earbuds feature works well, and I was able to find the earbuds when they went missing. Overall, I do not regret my purchase!

    Replacement for Original Buds

I was very upset when I lost my original Samsung Buds (they were a gift from my daughters). They were awesome true wireless. Given that, I was happy to see the updated Buds+. Pro's: extended battery life compared to original Regular updates for app and Buds+ Both fit well and extended wear doesn't hurt my smaller ear canal. Cons: I don't find the sound to be the improvement broadcasted by Samsung. I am very picky when it comes to how my music sounds. The battery case and container for the buds has been changed to a slippery feeling sort of material. This is a personal preference. The Bluetooth range doesn't seem to be as far. Granted, I haven't had these long and it may well be the obstacles causing issue. Both the original and Buds+ are easy to lose in the charger case. These are my first true wireless so I can't speak to ease of loss on other brands. Conclusion All in all, the cons are minor. However at this time, if you are considering these, I would get the original and save money. I do like them well enough to not exchange. I am a consistent Samsung product buyer and will hope the updates will continue to improve the sound.

    AirPods Pro owners unbiased review

    Posted .

Here is the simple truth. AirPods Pro are the best wireless earbuds WITH the ANC feature. Galaxy Buds+ are the best wireless earbuds WITHOUT the ANC feature. I love my Galaxy Buds+ and would highly recommend them to family or friends. Here are the positives: - Great sound...better than my AirPods - Great bass...better than my AirPods - Great all day battery life - Available in 3 colors - No latency on mobile games or YouTube - The companion app works for iOS and Android - Mics were bad last year but they are great now for calls Here are the negatives: - No ANC - Bluetooth range is average - Glossy case is a fingerprint and scratch magnet Bottomline...these are the best wireless earbuds that aren’t AirPods Pro. They have the best sound and the best bass at an affordable price. The 11 hour battery life is legit. The biggest flaw last year was the mic call quality but that’s been fixed this year. I wish they had ANC because once you use that feature on an airplane or noisy environment...earbuds without that feature don’t have the same overall user experience. If you’ve never used ANC you won’t notice and these will do you just fine especially if you want to save $100.

I was excited to buy the galaxy buds plus, however nervous at the same time because I have small ears.. thinking they weren't going to stay in. Samsung proved their products are for everyone. To my surprise, the buds plus didn't fall-out they stayed in my ears and fits perfectly... however they're very sensitive to touch. When you put them in correctly, there's no need to adjust them. They connected to my galaxy s20 and my galaxy active 2 watch with NO PROBLEM. I am very happy and please with my Best Buy purchase. I did get the 2 year geek squad warranty like I always do when I buy anything from Best Buy. This is my very 1st pair of truly wireless ear buds.

    Great Truly Wireless Earbuds

Great Earbuds, I was worried about purchasing wireless earbuds because usually the wired ones always fall out my ear even if I change different ear tips. But when I saw these came with wing tips I was a little bit relieved. I looked on online for good affordable truly wireless earbuds and saw these were recommended and since I have android I thought these would pair great. On top of that I got these on sale. These are by far the best earbuds I have ever bought. The sound Quality is great for truly appreciate earbuds the comfort is okay, they do bother me after around 2 hours but that's just because earbuds in general do that to my ears. They stay in even when I'm working out and doing things. They last pretty long including the case charge. I just really enjoy these overall, I also do enjoy the ambient sound option these come with and the touch pads on the earbuds really neat.

These sound great, battery last quite awhile, they can "fast charge",so it's really quick, I like the red, but most of all the fit !! They fit SO dang good, and they don't fall out ever. I can wear them for hours with no aching ears, by far the best earbuds I've ever used. But they sound really good and with the Galaxy wearable app I can change the EQ, change the button layout and stuff. I love these earbuds and I got them for like $50 or $75 off. I'm happy with them and highly recommend !

Great ear buds! Good sound. Sleek design. Comfortable fit. Amazing battery life. I have gone through maybe 5 different e aw earbuds in the past year including Skullcandy and Raycons. These have exceeded my expectations. I did have a problem with the volume limit in the beginning but a YouTube video that explained how to fix it. Even my daughter (who is faithful to Apple products) loved these earbuds and wants to keep them. Worth every dollar. Very happy.

The best bluetooth ear buds I have ever used.

    Posted .

I have used other bluetooth ear buds in the past like the Sony WF1000 and these are by far the best ones I have ever used. The sound quality on them is great for listening to music and work well for phone calls too. They are very comfortable and stay in place well. However if worn for long periods (6 or more hours) my ears get a bit sweaty. The only other downside is with the ambient sound option, it is a little disorienting because it makes different frequency of sounds louder than others. Things like the sound of running water in the sink or the sound a plastic wrapper makes are amplied and sound like they are right next to your head. While other sounds are not made as loud and sound further away then they are. It also makes the sound the same level in both ears so it is hard to tell what direction a sound is coming from. If you turn the ambient sound off, then they just block outside sounds like any other earbud would. I find it easier to just wear one earbud at a time. So it is nice that you can wear either one of the earbuds. With the Sony ones you had to wear either just the left one or both, the right one alone wouldn't work. The only controls on these that are side specific is the volume up\down control, you double tap the edge of the touch area and the left side is volume down and right side is volume up. Other than the volume, the stop\play, skip track, answer\hang up can be done from either side. The Bluetooth range is also pretty good, and unlike any other bluetooth headphones I have ever used, there is no deadzone where they cut out if your phone is held too close to your head while using them.

I needed a pair of wireless earbuds for my Tab S7 when watching shows/movies or when on my daily zoom calls. I wanted to try out these Buds+ as they were on sale. I was so glad that I did, and are now my go-to earbuds. I have small ears and wanted something that was not too heavy or can easily fall out (I've tried the Airpods and they are too big). I was pleasantly surprised that not only does Samsung provide different sized silicon tips, but also wingtips that you can attach where it would easily conform to my ears. Connecting them to my Tab S7 was simple and effortless. Just opening the buds cas and you are met with the Samsung Wear app. Through this app, you see the battery level of the buds and the charging case, Equalizer settings, and other helpful tools to make your experience very enjoyable. The bass is nice and not too heavy, sounds and voices were clear and crisp (especially when listening to people speak on zoom), and the ambient setting provided sound cancellation but with enough awareness to voices and sounds around me. Double tapping the right ear bud will pause anything you are listening to (music, movie/television), and call quality has been very good also. Overall, I am very happy with the buds+ and have been wondering why I haven't converted to them sooner. They are comfortable wearing and the sounds are amazing.

These earbuds are for sure 5 star buds ! They sound excellent, they fit beyond great, they just cling to your ears, I've never had 1 fall out ! I've never used them for making/receiving calls so idk on that part. But I love the bright red, the slim case and the killer sound and fitment seals the deal for me. Hands down bestbuds I've ever had. I see a lot of people asking .. Yes the are compatible with pretty much everything. (iPhones, laptops, tablets etc brand don't matter) The MSRP on them is a little high, but I got them on a good sale so can't complain a bit. Definitely recommend them !

    Amazing For the price.

Oh my goodness, i bought a pair of Samsung level U pro for their amazing battery life, and their amazing sound and price, bought them back in 2017 or so? well they broke, I was in need of a good set of comfortable ear buds for work, 12 hour night shifts. I got the Level U pros for a solid price and was a little hesitant to pay a Benjamin for these. But I knew from my experience with the other Samsung products I own, it might be worth it. Well these do not disappoint, 11 hours on a full charge and the sound quality reminds me of my level U pro’s in that they are amazing compared to the $200-$500 Alternatives. (Looking at you AirPods) and they are comfortable. When I almost forget they are in my ear in the first place... that’s something the previous ones lacked. Not to say they hurt or anything but I was aware they were in. The app for IOS is great, and gives some options that add quality to the buds. For a little more than a Benjamin? Shut up and take my money! Note: these are your best Samsung choice for buds for iPhone users. I understand this pair and maybe a second pair are able to have the fancy stuff you see in the app. No ANC, but IMO I don’t see a point for that good fitting earbuds do well enough to block out unwanted noises.
