The first pair I had were some JVC ones. These earbuds don't have much base but are clear so they wouldn't work well for people that enjoy heavy bass. They are great for the gym though since there are no fiscal buttons but can still lower, raise stop, play and skip a song with touchpads on either earbud I would give these ear buds 3 and 1/2 but that is not an option at best buy so I'll give it 4 stars

Well, now I can say they have. The sound is great, but the left bud doesn't work on it's own for answering/making calls. I can watch movies and play music with just the left earbud, but won't connect for phone calls. The right earbud works just fine for everything. Not sure why the left one doesn't work as it should (only worked correctly for a week or two) looked up this issue and apparently it's a known problem with these buds. Considering how much they are, I would have thought they wouldn't have any issues.
