Overall good purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these for my boyfriend as a gift and he has had them for about a month now and really likes them. He uses them on a nearly daily basis and finds the sound quality great and ambient noise feature cool. He also went running with them and said they stay in his ears really well. Overall very happy with the purchase, would recommend.

Samsung Galaxy Buds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for my husband's birthday. He had a pair but they were on the less expensive side. He put these in and immediately stated that they were by far the best sounding head phones he had ever worn. Very pleased with my purchase. Also was pleasantly surprised at how long the charge lasts.

Great battery life
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are pretty good and light. I use them to workout and throughout my day at work and it lasts me easily 2 days (over 15 hrs) The sound is pretty good if you can get good eartips to seal the ear but they are not noice cancelling so dont expect that, still if you crank the volume outside noise does get sealed off pretty well.

Great earbuds for a great price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE THEM! They have great sound, just enough bass and are very comfortable. The only issue that I had was when I unboxed them, I could only hear the right side more and the left side less, however that has lessened overtime, and the touchpad is sometimes too sensitive which can easily be fixed by disabling them. Overall, good earphones besides small minor problems.

My first Buds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They seem to fit comfortably in my ear. I wish they were a little bit louder and offered more control through the app's equalizer. The battery life seems good as well. I wish there were a way to turn them off. I did not put them in the case and used them the next day only to find that they were almost out of power.

Wireless buds +
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying my buds, sound quality is very good. I'm not one for a whole lot if base in my ears anymore so they are great. Use of use for pairing to my phone, laptop, and smart TV was very easy, especially when one of us us hard of hearing and he likes to blast the TV, I simply say please put your buds in.

Great headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Apple fan across the board, however I didn’t like the limited technology on my AirPods 2 and so I returned them and tried these out. These headphones blew me away. The touch controls and volume adjustment option are so worth the switch on itself. The battery life is a lot better, and they stay secured in place. Samsung gets this one Apple

Best hands-free ear buds!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these ear buds! I use them while talking on the phone and my calls on both ends are clear. They fit snuggly and comfortable in my ears. When I use them with music, I get an amazing sound. I have used both in my ears. However, if you choose to use just one, the sound quality is still excellent. Highly recommend.

Great Quality Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these for the battery life, which meet the advertised value. The ambient sound is a great feature which is a great add-on feature to its noise cancelling ability. Sound is pretty good, only complaint is the EQ (capability through the app only) is not very great, only small changes in the different frequency(lows, mids, and highs). Overall, very great quality.

Highly Recommended Over Sony WF-1000XM3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before owning the Galaxy Buds+, I owned the Sony WF-1000XM3, which I have since returned in favor of the Galaxy Buds+. I would like to help those of you who are considering the Sony earbuds to make the right choice for you and anyone in general. I would also like to make clear that I use a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra as my phone but I will make clear what benefits that has. I will focus more on what makes each better in comparison, as both are great with no glaring cons and Sony's are superior in some regards, rather than the pros and cons of each individually. I try to go very in depth, which may not be helpful for those not so interested in details but I know detailed reviews help me as an indecisive person, but now for why I prefer Samsung's earbuds over Sony's. How the Galaxy Buds+ are superior to the Sony WF-1000XM3: EARBUDS: -Price (Can be $80 cheaper depending on sales) -Lighter, smaller, and more flush to ears (Helps them fit and feel better) -Better and more secure fit with no fear of buds falling out due to design and rubber wings (Constantly needed to readjust Sony's even when selecting best tips for my ears) -Water/sweat resistant makes Samsung's more versatile (Didn't feel like I could use Sony's for workouts that caused sweat and didn't dare bring them in the rain due to no water resistance certification) -I prefer the design of Samsung's because they are more subtle and there are more color options -Ambient mode to hear surrounding feels more seamless -Touch controls feel more consistent and the ability to double tap the top of the earbuds for volume is very useful (Sony's touch controls limited what could be controlled. On Samsung's I can control volume, ambient mode, playback by tapping on EITHER earbud, and voice control. Sony's limited me to having volume on the left bud with playback and voice control on the right. Both brands allow customization of touch controls) -Phone call quality seems better, although I have only used once on each -Battery life of 11 hours without recharging, however this is due to lack of active noise cancellation (Got close to draining Sony's battery on a couple occasions) CASE: -Case is more compact and easier to pocket (Found Sony's a bit bulky) -Battery level indicator on case (No way to tell on Sony's without entering their app) -See case's battery percentage without earbuds being in case (Sony's required you insert and remove an earbud to see case battery level which was inconvenient) -Case supports wireless charging (Sony's Do Not) -Can charge case wirelessly with my phone (Supported Samsung Devices Only) -When the case is opened, begins connecting immediately (Sony's must be removed before it begins to connect) -When the case is opened, immediately prompted on Samsung device to begin set-up (Supported Samsung Devices Only) -Support for Windows 10 Swift Pair which recognizes earbuds for easy pairing APP: -App is cleaner/easier to use, makes important information/features easily accessible, and overall feels more stable -Find my earbuds feature (No GPS or anything, earbuds just play a ringing sound) -Tips and user manual easy to understand and generally helpful How the Sony WF-1000XM3's are superior to the Galaxy Buds+: EARBUDS: -Active noise cancellation (ANC), but debatable if necessary (While listening to music I found there is minimal effect from ANC although it is noticeable when no music is playing. With no music playing, "predictable" sounds such as a fan or road noise are dampened considerably but "unpredictable" sounds such as voices or dogs barking are minimally dampened. I have the full headphone version of the Sony's (Sony WH-1000XM3), which I love, and the ANC of the earbuds don't even come close to matching the headphones, presumably due to the smaller form factor, and over-ear headphones are better and more comfortable in situations where the ANC in the earbuds is noticeable such as flights or car trips. I find the Samsung Buds+ have a better seal than Sony's earbuds so the difference when listening to music is minimal) -Sound quality, both in terms of the physical drivers and software in app (Sony's definitely sound more natural and have overall better sound quality but Samsung's are not too far off) CASE: -Feels like higher quality, though partly because it is heavier -I prefer the design of the Sony's case, I think it just looks better with the copper "lid" and seams seem to be hidden better -Open with one hand (I can open Samsung's case with one hand but it is awkward and not very natural feeling like Sony's case) -Case contains strong magnets that satisfyingly snap the earbuds into the case, something the Samsung case lacks -Clearer, color-coded Left-Right markings in the case to match markings on the earbuds, something I didn't think would help but I found does -NFC pairing (Samsung's case doesn't have NFC which is useful for those who don't have a Samsung device that will pair seamlessly with Samsung's buds) APP: -"Adaptive Sound Control" which automatically tries to detect if you are sitting, walking, etc and adjust the ANC and ambient levels accordingly (I found this feature useful at times but not accurate enough to keep switched on) -More finite control of earbuds from a sound standpoint and more features relating to sound quality (Ambient sound for surroundings has 20 levels of intensity and the ability to "focus on voice" while dampening background sound, precise EQ control, control over connection stability or quality, DSEE HX support which upscales sound quality, though I personally didn't hear any improvement and it tanked battery life 2-3 hours for me, 360 Reality Audio support (never used so I can't speak for it)) Pros of BOTH the Samsung Buds+ and Sony WF-1000XM3's: +Bluetooth 5.0 for generally more stability, better quality, and support for connecting to two devices at once +Both cases charge via USB-C, with a cable included for both (Should be no excuse at this point not to have USB-C, especially from more premium products) +Good quality cases, each with a unique but satisfying hinge (Both snap closed with a magnet but Samsung case has more weight to the hinge when opening while the Sony case opens more easily but still satisfyingly. Up to personal preference which is better because both feel high quality) +Very good sound quality for earbuds (I have never used AirPods so I can't compare to them) +Identical features for Android and iOS devices—not missing out on basic features like you might if you used AirPods with Android (If you use a newer Samsung phone with the Galaxy Buds+ you will benefit from more seamless pairing and charging wirelessly from your phone, although that one is more a feature of the phone and not the buds) +Generally well-designed apps that allow you to customize many aspects of the earbuds +Fully wireless (This is obvious but I never realized how much I would use fully wireless earbuds and appreciate the convenience behind them until I tried them out) +Ambient mode to listen for vehicles while outside or others talking to you +More than 20 hours of play time when paired with case for both +400% more color options for the Samsung's and 200% more color options for the Sony's than AirPods +Better value than either of Apple's AirPod products for both Android and iOS users (I don't see a reason for an Android user to buy AirPods due to the loss in functionality associated. This is my opinion and I acknowledge the seamlessness that comes with using Apple phones and computers with AirPods, but without this benefit their higher price is not justified compared with Samsung's and Sony's options. Again, I have never used AirPods so this all just my opinion but is why I didn't purchase in the first place) Summary of why I prefer Galaxy Buds+ to Sony WF-1000XM3's: I think that for most people, the Samsungs are overall better for daily life for a few distinct reasons. First of all, the price of the Samsung Buds is a decent amount lower than the Sonys, which for me verge on being to expensive to be practical for what the average person needs. Next, the Samsung Buds are much more compact and easy to slip in your pocket or bag for daily life. The Sony case is not big by any means but it is not as portable and easy to take with you are have with you for workouts. Next, I think wireless charging in the case is a very convenient feature, especially for those with Samsung phones and the ambient sound feature is more seamless. Finally, the sound quality of the Galaxy Buds+ are excellent and the more advanced audio tuning that is possible with the Sony's won't be noticeable enough and are not user-friendly enough to the average person. Who should buy the Galaxy Buds+: -The average person wanting fully wireless earbuds that are essentially what Airpods are but cheaper and provide full functionality for Android and iOS users. -People who workout consistently due to the secure fit of the buds, the buds being light, and water resistance rating of the buds. +Users of newer Samsung phones such as the Galaxy S10 or S20 and Note 10 due to the added seamlessness and bonuses that come from using two products of the same brand, but not necessary for the enjoyment of the earbuds. Who should buy the Sony WF-1000XM3's: -Those who find sound quality more important to them, and a small improvement in sound quality over the Buds+ is worth it. -Those who don't workout often or have an alternative audio source for their workouts as these lack water resistance and the very secure fit required for workouts, though they will remain secure when you are sitting or walking normally. Small note: I purchased these during the COVID-19 Pandemic while Best Buy was operating under delivery and curbside pick-up. I utilized curbside pick-up so I could also return my Sony's, which I am glad I did, and found the experience very intuitive, as instructions are very clear in the email and in the parking lot and employees helpful.

Great Ear Buds
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally upgraded from my old tried and true Samsung Gear Circle wireless ear buds. I really like these. They have stayed in my ear just fine and the sound quality is very good. I like being able to adjust the infusion of background noise. Hearing both, what I'm playing mixed with ambient noise took some getting used to.

Awesome ear buds
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these. Perfect for the gym to soundproof the night away. Comfortable and love the ease of the pause and play touch feature. They keep a very long charge which is great. They even worked well while lounging in the pool and were okay and survived after a bit of water. So happy, These would make great stocking stuffers.

Great Battery life
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality; I keep mine on the Dynamic Mode and its sounds good. The battery life is the best I've seen on a wireless earbud. I can fall asleep with them on and still have 20% left when I wake up. The 11 hours are pretty accurate for me. The biggest downside of the buds is the mic quality. Its not bad at all but it isn't the best either. It gets the job done though.
