Enter the buds+ they took the sound and made it even better and improved drastically then quality and overall number of mics. The battery life is exceptional and the app allows for additional features like ambient sound which allows for you to "hear through" the headphones getting the world around you. Software updates have enabled a very helpful low latency mode as well. I can't find a single thing done better by higher price offerings from Apple.
