Great quality and value for regular folk like me

I bought a pair of Buds2 and found ease of use, easy connectivity, great sound and convenience. They are 1) feather light, 2) fit well (though as a new buds user it took trial and error to find my way) 3) volume controllable with Google Assistant 4) easy communication with my sister who is in a care home 5) small and convenient 6) cost just $149. I really don't care how these compare with Buds +, Buds -, Buds in between, or whatever. Or Bose or some off brand from China. For those 2-3% who obsess over every atomic particle, these may not be for you. For regular people including me, Buds2 are convenient and provide great sound. I think I spent my money well.

They work okay with the Apple ecosystem. I notice the sound quality and performance degrading over time. If you plan on owning this for a good while, I’d go with something else

Did not like them. The sound was not great, caused my ears to ring. Did not feel like they would stay in my ears. Used with a Samsung Note 10+ Returned and bought apple.

Sound pretty good. The equalizer is only 5 presets with no customization. Could be louder, could have more bass. The nass boost eq was VERY muddy. Did not keep.

Worthless. The microphone is so messed up when trying to use for video calling on my laptop. When I plug wired headphones into my laptop it automatically starts using them for audio output and input. When I'm connected to these headphones via bluetooth, it doesn't pick up audio from the microphone on the buds. I was able to change the settings in Messenger and make them work, but for conferencing services I have not been able to use them. Either the audio or the microphone won't work. I was able to make them temporarily work in Chrome by setting them as the default microphone for the app, but this setting is erased every time I disconnect the buds (which happens every time I take them out of my ears). I'm reading experiences from other people online and it seems like this is both common and essentially not correctable. I wish I'd considered this possibility beforehand. Somehow I assumed for $100 I'd get a product that would work at least as well as my cheap wired headphones. It's incredibly frustrating and I feel like I wasted so much money when a pair of simple $10 ear buds with a wire works seamlessly every time.
