These are very similar so I would assume they'll last as long as the old pair (4 years) so long as the dog doesn't eat them again. They would probably last longer than that. Samsung makes a good product!

Sounded good; however, falling out/off the ear was not unusual. I eventually gave up and gave both sets away. Would I recommend it? Yes, making sure the person was aware of the getting lost/falling out of the ear issues. One more thing, they do get uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
