They had a great fit and if its strictly for working out or whatever then its ok. Driving and you only wanna use one then its not. I need both to work separately.

If you are wanting to use one earbud at a time you can absolutely do so. This would default to the ambient sound setting of your device but a touch and hold on the earbud you are using can change the sound profile to the ANC setting if you prefer.
