Finally a Worthy AirPods Pro Alternative

I have tried them all, well almost all. I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I’ve tried dozens of ANC earbuds from many brands. In my eyes none of them are as well rounded as AirPods Pro. Unfortunately those previously mentioned Pros don’t have full features on Android devices. Among all the earbuds I’ve tried are Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds Pro. Each iteration got better but not quite there all the way. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are excellent! They address issues from its predecessors. I believe this is now the best all around earbud for Android and one of the best overall. Probably the most important factor in earbuds is sound performance. These buds do not disappoint. I let my son use them for a couple hours and he told me he heard things in songs that he never had before. The bass is really natural and doesn’t make it feel like the earbuds are bouncing around in my ears. Great tone and clarity too. The Enhanced 360-degree audio is a nice feature too when you’re watching a video. It’s not game changing but definitely a cool feature. They are a pleasure to listen to. The ANC is just as good as the original Pros if not better. It does a great job knocking out low sounds like a fan or vacuum. The biggest improvement in my eyes (ears?) is the quality of the Ambient Sound. All previous Samsung Ambient modes have sounded like the voices coming through sound like they are coming from a tin can. It got better, er less noticeable anyway, with the original Pros but now it’s gone. Voices in Ambient mode sound so much better and more clear. Fit and finish on the 2’s is awesome. I love the matte finish vs the high gloss of the originals. The fit is also better. The case is the same size as the original so the protective case I used before works with this one as well. You will still get the best results and most features from these buds if you are using Samsung devices but it works well on my iPhone too. Overall I am thrilled with the upgrade, especially the Ambient mode.

It happens so often that at this point i want to throw them away. If i could return them i would or if i wouldve known it was going to be like that, i wouldnt have got them.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback about the Galaxy Buds2 Pro with us, Ecorr. The Buds2 Pro features a 360 Audio experience enhanced by Dolby Atmos, providing immersive sound that adapts to head movements, creating a surround-sound effect. Key features include Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation, which allows users to focus on important sounds while minimizing background noise. The earbuds also support real-time translations through the Galaxy AI, facilitating communication in different languages during conversations. The design is ergonomic, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit, making them suitable for various activities.Frequent disconnection of Galaxy Buds models from a phone may stem from a weak Bluetooth connection or improper fit in the ears. It is essential to ensure that the earbuds are correctly positioned for optimal performance. Additionally, verifying the stability of the Bluetooth connection and ensuring that the earbuds' software is current are crucial steps to mitigate connectivity issues. Make sure to use the earbuds and your device within 30 feet of each other. The distance may vary depending on the environment and your phone model. Avoid using the device near obstructions that can block the Bluetooth signal, such as walls, routers, electrical equipment, or electromagnetic waves. Also, be aware of other devices you may have also connected your buds to. Check for software updates for the earbuds. You can check for software updates through the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone or tablet, through a PC, or using your TV. Check the earbuds' battery status. If they have a low battery, the buds may disconnect from the phone. In this case, you will need to charge the earbuds. You can check the battery level in the Galaxy Wearable app. If this persists, please be sure to reach out to us at Support so that we can look into what could be causing this. -Kelvin Samsung

Aloha SharitaT, thank you for finding the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. You can answer and control calls using your earbuds. To answer or end a call, double tap the touch pad on your earbuds. To decline a call, touch and hold the touchpad on your earbuds. The left and right earbuds can be assigned different shortcuts. 1. From Galaxy Wearable, tap Touch controls > Touch and hold. 2. Tap an option to set the touch controls for each earbud: * Switch noise controls (default): Activate the noise canceling or ambient sound features. * Voice command: Say commands to change settings on your earbuds. * Volume up or Volume down: The right earbud is volume up, and the left is volume down. Once one has been set, the other will automatically update to the volume control option. Hope that helps! Feel free to contact Samsung Support if you would like any further assistance. We're always here for you! Thank you for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

Aloha JenettF, thank you for finding the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. We appreciate your sincerity as we strive to be innovative while improving the design and functionality of our product line. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most enlightening experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. In the past, you may have worn earbuds that either pinched your ears or were too loose. Both options are equally uncomfortable, whether you're out jogging or just listening to music. Thankfully, you'll never have those problems with your Samsung earbuds. If they don't fit right, you can simply swap the earbud tips and wingtips. If you wear your buds correctly, it will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible. With the Buds2 Pro, you can use the Earbud fit test to make sure you’re wearing them correctly. From the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbud settings, and then tap Earbud fit test. Put the earbuds in your ears and then tap Start to begin the test. We also offer the Comply Tips Designed for Galaxy Buds2 Pro. These foam tips easily attach to the device and feature a comfortable, custom in-ear fit. Fun fact, these tips were designed to fit in the charging case while charging. Feel free to reach out to Samsung Support if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. We're always here to assist you in any way possible! big sound in a small package

The first thing I noticed about these is how small they are. I mean, I've noticed that ear buds keep getting smaller and smaller, but these are the smallest I've tried out. The second thing I noticed was how good the sound is. I expect that with smaller buds, you're going to sacrifice sound quality, but not with these. The amount of bass you can hear is exceptionally better than other buds I've used - some of which have been pretty high end. It's not what you can achieve with over-ear headphones, but noticeably better than other buds. I tried these with an iPhone, and they paired easily and had the basic functions available, but you're going to miss some of the features without the wearable app. The Samsung Galaxy Buds app (at the time of writing) did not include these as one of the models it would recognize. There is no manual in the box, so the only way to read the online manual is by registering the buds through your Samsung account. They should have additional actions you can perform by tapping the touch sensitive areas, and those actions should be modifiable in the app. The only functions I could get the buds to perform through the touch controls was to play/pause with a short press on either bud, and to turn ANC on and off with a long press on either bud. BTW, ANC works exceptionally well on these, again - amazingly well considering their size. There were no size options for the tips included in the box. This is something almost every other pair of buds I have tried comes with so you can get a precise fit. I usually end up using the default medium size, and these fit fine out of the box. YMMV. These also fit very well inside my ear and are shaped so that there is almost no protrusion at all. Very low profile, but also snug. Case can be charged via USB C or wirelessly. The case is also smaller than many other options, so easy to carry around. Overall, just exceptional quality and ergonomics.
