Since I'm not familiar with any other brand or type or how long a charge should last, I can only say that I bought them based on the positive reviews and I like them so far. I bought them because I will be traveling in a few weeks and new phones no longer include wired ear buds. The true test will be how they perform during the flight and how long they hold a charge. Hence the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. You may have worn earbuds that either pinched your ears or were too loose. Both options are equally uncomfortable, whether you're out jogging or just listening to music. Thankfully, you'll never have those problems with your Samsung earbuds. If they don't fit right, you can simply swap the earbud tips and wingtips. If you wear your buds correctly, it will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible. With the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro, you can use the Earbud fit test to make sure you’re wearing them correctly. From the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Earbud settings, and then tap Earbud fit test. Put the earbuds in your ears and then tap Start to begin the test. Without knowing what your expectations may be regarding the audio quality of the Galaxy Buds and without knowing what you may be experiencing with your device, I recommend reaching out to Samsung Support if you would like any further assistance and/or help with troubleshooting. If you haven't done so already, we recommend trying the additional ear tips in a larger and smaller size to help with the fit of your device. And unfortunately just past the return date by the time I tried them. So stuck with ear buds I can’t use as the just fall out. Worst eat buds ever. DONT BUY. Samsung needs to fix the ear piece.

I even used the smallest fitting. The other issue that I have been having is when I talk on the phone the signal bounces from ear to ear. I have been having the same issue with other earbuds. I have also been having issues with the bluetooth on my phone connecting with my car. It is possible that the bluetooth issues are coming from my phone.
