Might work better for an Android phone. But for apple not so good. The app from Samsung doesnt support this set of buds. So you are stuck using the iphones settings. I just cant get enough sound out of them and cant use all of the features that they provide. Samsung update your app so I can get all of the features these buds provide.

If you have a Samsung phone, there are many options that enhance its use. The active noise cancellation is a step above and is tunable. The app can place a widget on the screen that will allow quick and easy switching of the ambient/anc and disable the touch functions if needed. The small size and minimal weight make them VERY comfortable but, in my case, that size and the smooth finish had them falling out. I tried the different sizes and still, they were falling out! Even bending to tie my shoes had them popping out....They need some sort of "wings or "tabs' to customize the fit.

It's unfortunate because I'd love the earbuds otherwise. I can still use the left ear bud in either pair, but it's a bit one sided. Ha

If your Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds Pro, or Gear IconX earbuds have no or low volume and poor sound quality on one or both buds, there may be a couple reasons why. You might be wearing the earbuds incorrectly, or the buds could have accumulated dust or debris. Additionally, the audio quality could be affected by outdated software, a low battery, and several other things. I prefer an accurate sound and find that the "normal" EQ setting provides enough bass with a full midrange and sufficient but not "hyped" highs. (My previous earbuds if set to "flat" setting were exactly that - flat!) I was pleasantly surprised by how well the ambient sound feature worked, allowing me to hear what I needed while listening to music and making calls. While the ANC is not at the level of a good over the ear noise cancelling headphone, it performs pretty well. The Samsung Wear app really makes these versatile! I like that I can turn off the touch controls when I don't want inadvertent contact to change things while listening, and while not a full equalizer, the equalization presets are well-chosen. I have these paired to my Galaxy S21, tablet, and laptop and switching is quick and easy. The case charges wirelessly and is a nice size for easy carry. I had no issues with fit, these are very comfortable and light while being very secure, I would think that those with smaller and/or sensitive ears will like these. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. They are a particularly good match with my Galaxy S21.
