No mute, they automatically change from noise cancellation to active noise without being prompted, the volume doesn't get that loud, and you and your caller can hear your background with noise cancellation on

Don't fit in my ears

If your Galaxy Buds2 aren't fitting correctly in your ears, you can simply swap the earbud tips and/or wingtips on your device. It will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible. Phone calls are fine and nose cancellation is a great feature.
