When you buy earphones, be careful what brands they are good for. These are fully functional only Sansung Galaxy. I got them working on a standard (Lenovo) laptop, but they have fewer abilities and controls than they do when working with the Galaxy ecosystem of devices.

Forget the fact that these have ANC and the earlier model Buds don't, the ANC here is so poor and spotty that it doesn’t matter. What does matter is a much less rich soundfield than the originals and a cut in battery run time by almost 50 percent over the older, cheaper models. Samsung claims you'll get 7.5 hours of music with ANC and mic amplicafication turned off on these. if you're lucky you'll get a bit less than six ... and that's with brand new batteries, my older Samsung buds are still getting somewhat over 11 after seven months of more than nine hour a day use. Also, the better battery performance is generally achieved at higher volume levels. Odd thing about almost all the Samsung wireless buds, the higher the price the poorer the battery performance. Check the official Samsung specs, they even brag about it. How about it, Mr. Sung, exchange my new buds for the old ones and I'll write an honest review praising the old ones to the skies ... they deserve itl

Decided it was time to upgrade from the galaxy buds pro , boy was it not great, samsung thought it would be smart to remove the wings from the old galaxy buds design to make the 2's look more modern and pleasing , but instead the dang thing is made from nothing but this glossy slippery plastic that makes the thing slip out of your ear every 2 minutes while im just sitting still in a chair , i have owned the original galaxy buds and will say those were far better than this junk and sounded better too, no wonder why it was on sale for 110 instead of the 150, because its junk, i will be returning these and going with a different brand for headphones due to samsung coming out with more impractical yet "mOdERn" designs every year.

Overall the sound quality, the compact charging case and the improvements on the single touch controls was refreshing. However, a new issue has emerged due to the desigh which is they keep falling out whenever you tilt your head to a certain side for a period of time. I suggest not upgrading to these buds if you already have ones.
