Salutations Anonymous, thanks for taking the opportunity to review your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Your feedback is invaluable to us. Wearing your earbuds correctly is important for several reasons. You'll get better sound quality from them, they'll fit more comfortably, and they'll stay in your ears. Wearing them improperly can cause discomfort, sound leaks, and makes them more likely to fall out. As you know, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sized ear tips. The first thing you want to do is make sure they have the right size tips for your ears. You want them to fit so that there isn't a gap between your ear and the ear tip. This helps to avoid sound leaks and ensure optimal audio. Once you have the right tips on your buds: 1. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. 2. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. 3. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. 4. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. 5. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forwards and backwards until the fit feels right. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to ensure you have the proper fit. To run an Earbud fit test, 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 2. From the Buds3 Pro screen, tap Sound quality and effects. 3. Tap Earbud fit test. 4. The screen will display either In ear or Not in ear. Make sure both buds are in your ears, and then tap Start. 5. The buds will chime for a few seconds, and then the app will display your results. It may say Poor fit or Good fit. If the fit is poor, make small adjustments and then tap Try again. 6. Continue running the fit test and making adjustments until you get a good fit result for both buds. If you would like more information regarding fit, feel free to check out "How to wear your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro." Let us know if you have any questions or if you would like further assistance by contacting Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

Great Sound, but Issues to be Worked Out...

My experience with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro thus far has been a tale of two experiences; one of great sound quality, and one of frustrating software bugs/glitches. For me, they could be the new standard bearers for wireless ear buds in the industry if not for the issues... I'll start this review off with the good. Overall, I've found the Buds 3 Pro buds to have VERY good sound quality, including noise cancellation. I've not taken these on a plane yet, which would be a true test, but in my usage, they do very well to filter out background noise. Beyond this, though, general sound quality is also great to my ears, providing a solid soundscape with a very present and effective low end. This can be aided even further by using the Wearables app to tweak the eq to a number of different curves, and also to tweak the features of the buds as well. Finally, the buds are very comfortable for my ears. They fit well and don't cause much in the way of discomfort over hours of consecutive use. So in a few important senses, these buds are very good. However... The number of bugs has made it honestly a chore to use the buds over the past week. There are a number of bugs to discuss here; issues with connectivity, issues with only one of the buds playing sound, issues with the sound mode seemingly changing randomly, etc. These have cropped up persistently on every use. In my case, I'm using these with a Pixel 8 Pro... your mileage may vary if you're using a Samsung device, though I'd really hope Samsung wouldn't handicap these if you're not using one of their phones. Beyond the software bugs, which hopefully can be resolved over time, I have a couple issues with the ergonomics of these that cannot be rectified with updates, which all revolve around what Samsung calls the "blades". The blade system is a bit of a mess for me. The touch controls are hard to use, even after a week. The swipes are hard to execute and the pinch mechanism is difficult to invoke as well (though I very much like the haptic feedback you get when executing either of these controls). Worst of all for me, having the blades makes it difficult to grab these buds when they're in your ear and makes it very difficult to put the buds back in their charging case. To me, this feels like a design decision that was made using an aesthetics-over-functionality mentality. For me, they simply don't work that well and greatly hold the buds back from being daily drivers for me. Overall, I'm disappointed in my experience with these buds. They nail certain parts of the experience, primarily around sound quality, sound cancellation, and comfortable fit. However, the buds fail for me in a number of important ways as well; aforementioned usage bugs and ergonomic issues. I hope as time goes on, the bugs improve but my issues with the ergonomics of the Blade system will remain.

A premium pair of earbuds, but with a few quirks. The case and earbuds feel and fit really nice. They have a nice floating feeling in my ear making them among the more comfortable earbuds I've used. Pairing is easy as expected, but to get full functionality and use out of them you need to download the Galaxy Wear app. The 'stems' on the earbuds are an odd triangular like shape. I found this to be a bit frustrating, because the stems have touch controls ("pinch" and "swipe"), but it's not immediately clear which side of the stem you should be touching, since there isn't tactile difference between the sides. Once you get used to it and remember, it's not so bad, but still sometimes feels a bit fumbly, where it might detect what you meant to be a press/"pinch" gets detected as a swipe and adjusts volume or something. The odd shape stems also mean its a bit fumbly to get them back in the case as you have to get the angle pretty darn close right from the get-go for them to slide in, otherwise they just fall over. The light on the stem you can control, but oddly they force you to "pinch" both of the stems at the same time to turn them on or off. I don't know why it's not an option in the app (you can only decide if the "gesture" is enabled, and the lighting effect itself). Sound quality is pretty good and didn't feel dissatisfied in any way, but it does seem to emphasize clarity over a full-sounding sound. This is beneficial for hearing voices, but means in music sometimes some of the high notes stand out more, and the bass is just left behind. It's not a bad sound, but just not super bassy. Noise canceling was decent, but still plenty of sounds get in from the outside world. This might be because of the light ear fit (which makes them more comfortable, but less muffling). They did well not passing through wind noises though which was really nice when listening to music on a windy day. Features like the live audio translation only works if using a compatible Galaxy phone. Since I have a Google Pixel, this feature doesn't work, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, these are a pretty nice pair of earbuds, but I do wonder some of the choices Samsung made.

The Samsung Galaxy buds have always been very good earbuds with nice sound and cutting edge technology. In my opinion, the Samsung Galaxy buds 3 pro raises the bar even higher. Back to the beginning, however. The buds may have started off a little rocky. From what I understand, there was an issue early on with the durability of the rubber on the removable ear piece that caused a delay in shipping for several weeks. My Galaxy buds 3 pro were delayed as well. When I received my buds 3 pro, the first thing I looked at was that rubber part. In fact, I needed to change mine to the smaller size, so I had a chance to see if that issue still existed. To my delight, I had absolutely no issue changing the ear piece. All was good in the world. Setting up the buds to work with you phone is a breeze. Charge up the earbuds, then push the button on the bottom of the case and open the lid to activate the buds, set your phone to bluetooth pairing and WaLah. You are connected. I already had the Samsung wearable app on my phone, but I noticed the phone still downloaded a file or updated a file, to give me better control and adjustability of the earbuds. As far as sound quality. These are about as good as I have heard from an in ear bud. I traditionally use over the ear headsets for better sound, but the Galaxy buds 3 pro are nearly as good as my best over ear. The highs and mids are crystal clear and there is just enough bass to blend everything together for a terrific listening experience. Volume is more than adequate and the buds stay in the ear even when I am moving around quite a bit. The new design with the long stem seems to have caused some controversy among people, but I believe the stem provides a better way to control the buds with the ability to slide and pinch the stem to control various aspects of the buds 3. These are advertised as the best Galaxy buds yet and I do believe Samsung has done a good job with these. I have no regrets in owning the Galaxy buds 3 pro and I bet you won't either.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro Wireless Earbud Headphones is a great pair of earbuds. I wasn’t sure what to expect as for sound quality. After getting them setup and being able to listen to some of my favorite tunes, I was quite impressed. I listened to a wide variety of music and it sounded great for all of the tracks I listened to. I have both a Samsung phone and an Apple iPhone. I assumed it would be able to quickly and easily connect to my Samsung phone, however I had to connect to it through my Bluetooth settings and by pressing the button at the bottom of the case to put it into pairing mode. I assume I had to use this method because it appears my phone is outdated since I don’t have one of the latest Samsung phones. When I went into the Google Play store to download the Galaxy Buds 3 app, it said my device was not compatible. I was also able to connect it to my iPhone using the same method. The noise canceling feature of these earbuds is awesome. They do a tremendous job of blocking unwanted noise while listening to audio. The earbuds are comfortable while wearing them in my ear. When taking one earbud out, the audio continues to play. Taking both earbuds out will stop the audio. You can also stop playback of the audio by pressing the stem of the earbuds. The earbuds are fairly easy to get out of the case, but they seem a bit cumbersome trying to get them back into the case. The earbud case can be charged via a USB-C connection or it can be placed on a wireless charger. Overall, I’m impressed with the audio quality from these earbuds.

Ive had these for awhile. For someone who has had problems keeping earbuds in my ears these are a comfortable fit if you have the right ear type. Also its a pain but to keep the lights active while in your ear (just a cool look) you have to pinch and hold both earbuds while they are out of the ear and case which they should just put that in the app. Noise cancelling is great for earbuds too. If you do sweat though these hold better than the buds 2 pro but dont tilt your head to much cause they will fall out. Overall pretty good audio for headphones. I cant compare them to the airpods but they are slightly better than the buds 2 pro and ofcourse way better if you have just the buds 2. It also has a slide volume control which is something to get used to.

I was reluctant to get them when they first came out, but so glad I did, eventually. They are so much better than the Buds2 Pro, which constantly fell out of my ears. These not only stay in, but the sound is flawless (clean, crisp, clear). Also, I love the adaptive option instead of noise canceling yes or no. The adaptive option blocks out noise but also lets in stuff you probably need to hear (siren and loud voices).

I’ve been in the Samsung/Android ecosystem for over a decade. I almost universally love Samsung products (televisions, phones, tablets, earbuds) and appreciate their consistent quality and thoughtfulness of design. To say I’m frustrated and disappointed by my Galaxy Buds3 Pro experience is a colossal understatement. I spent an entire evening trying unsuccessfully to get a good fit and proper seal with the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. No combination of tips and twists or turns could get them correctly seated and sealed. Needless to say, an improper seal kills sound quality. What I heard sounded accurate, but it is not fair to comment on audio quality and it is near impossible to construct an earbud review based on such limited information. The silicone earbud tips are securely attached to the earbud body – so much so, that after hours if changing tips back and forth in search of the right fit, my fingertips were sore from the effort. I can say that they are certainly durable. I expected something to tear or separate; it did not. Charging the earbuds took less than an hour. If you don’t have the Samsung Wear app installed, you should install it before opening the case. Connection to the Galaxy Buds3 Pro was quick and seamless and the user is guided through the setup process. There is a plethora of settings to explore, but I only dug as deep as settings for noise cancelling, EQ, and an earbud fit test. I struggled with the touch/pinch/hold controls for the earbuds. They just never seemed to be consistent. I imagine that, given time, I might get the knack for it and their function might become more natural. Perhaps my hands are too large? I can’t say. Everything that I have read about the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro is overwhelmingly positive, and I know my experience is an exception. I guess some things just aren’t meant to be.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 Pro is a perfect companion to Samsung’s own phones or, with various features maybe less accessible, other Android phones or even Apple if that’s your desire. These earbuds are immediately enjoyable with a user adjustable set of environmental controls, including ambient sound management or noise cancellation, much of it fully automated. You may mistakenly conclude that there is nothing going on once you’re underway in a listening session. But, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro “Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation” is making decisions about switching the background on or off, noise reduction etc, all without continuous user input if you enable these settings. It’s very useful when the Buds3 Pro get it right. Sometimes they conflict with my needs in the moment, but these features are easily disabled if you prefer. I love a built-in equalizer, which, again, may be available or not you depending on the device to which the earbuds are connected. Samsung has also added an adaptive component to this feature which should accommodate how loose or snug we insert our eartips. Features: In the box, along with the very attractive clear top case, is a charging cable (USB-C).The pocketable case has a charging button on the bottom and can be charged directly using the cable with a charger you provide. It can also be placed on a wireless charging pad. The extra eartips included in the box are easily popped off or on to the earbud body. The earbuds have embedded LEDs that can be turned on and customized a bit. A younger me would have loved this feature. I’m not inclined to attract attention to my earwear, but, on the other hand, it does serve as a warning to a stranger trying to talk to you. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro are IP67 water resistant. I was not able to try it out, but these earbuds offer the ability, when used with a Samsung phone and the phone App along with live translate to play real-time translation through the buds. PERFORMANCE: The bottom line for most users is how these sound. Choose the right eartips and achieve a good fit and the bass is outstanding. Voices are very natural sounding and a bit forward without equalization. I thought the highs were not quite as airy as I prefer, but they were also clean and detailed. Phone calls were high quality with the other party not realizing I was using earbuds. My ears have only limited success with this design, where a snug fit is required. Press too far in, and they hurt; leave a bit loose and they’re falling out. So, fit and comfort is a mixed bag for me. I also struggled a bit getting these to work with a second device. An Android tablet is still balking completely. I’ve got to work that out. The final calculation has the Galaxy Buds3 Pro in the premium category, with the feature set outstanding, the performance above average and overall usability (for me) at average. I can recommend these with some minor caveats.

These are probably one of the best sounding pairs of earbuds I have heard, but they are hampered by poor design. In the box you get the earbuds, case (with built in battery for charging) a short charging cable and 2 sets of different sized ear tips. I found the charging case to feel a little cheap for a premium set of earbuds. It works, it gets the job done, but I feel like if I dropped it on the concrete it would shatter. The earbuds themselves are, well, extremely slippery! I can’t tell you how many times these things slipped out of my hands while getting them in and out of the case or trying to get them in my ears. I don’t know what Samsung could have done to help this, but I had a really hard time holding on to these little buggers! Getting them paired to my phone and the Samsung Wearables app was very easy to do. In the app you can control a lot of customization options. You can change the light pattern on the “blades” and control what happens when you swipe or touch them in a certain way. There is also sound customization EQ options as well. You can tailor these buds to your exact listening preferences. In the app you can also tune the noise cancelling to your liking as well. There are 3 different noise cancelling settings as well as completely off. Within each of those settings you can also control the intensity of it as well. I found when sitting still or walking around the noise cancelling works pretty good, although any sound that did get through such as typing on a keyboard had a very high-pitched tone to it. If you plan to wear these where there is any kind of wind, forget about the noise cancelling. It is pretty bad when riding a bike or anything where the wind blows a lot. I had to turn the noise cancelling completely off in those situations to make them listenable. That brings me to my next, and biggest problem with these ear buds, the fit! I know everyone’s ears are different, but for the life of me I could not get these ear buds to fit in my ear easily and repeat it whenever I put them in. I found myself constantly messing around with them trying to get a good seal on my ear, and when you touch them to adjust them, it often times activates the touch controls which can make for a very frustrating experience. I would think if they went in the ear a little deeper and had a foam tip option these would work a lot better! Sometimes copying another company’s design isn’t always the best thing to do! These do have voice control, but if there is a lot of ambient noise or wind they don’t work very well and you almost have to shout to get it to work. I got some strange looks when I was out riding my bike with these in and I was yelling “next track” or “volume up” as I rode by people. The swipes and things on the blades do work pretty well, but as I stated before if you adjust the buds a lot like I had to do, it can easily trigger unwanted things to happen. With all that said, if you are in the right environment, and get these situated in your ears just so, it is actually a great experience. I found these earbuds to sound amazing. Good thumping bass, nice amount of high end and mids as well. The EQ options allow you to tailor the sound perfectly for what you like. I think if they went back to the drawing board on the design and try to pave their own path instead of copying another companies design they could make a pretty amazing set of earbuds. For right now though, I can’t recommend these because the negatives outweigh the positives

Greetings Jsnkc28, thank you for finding the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. We appreciate your feedback as it provides us the opportunity to remain innovative while improving the functionality of our product line as well as the design. Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most incredible experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Wearing your earbuds properly is important for many reasons. If you would like more information regarding your Buds3 Pro fit, feel free to check out "How to wear your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro."
