Best wireless headphones in my collection.

The new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless headphones are easily my favorite headphones in my collection. From the moment I first used them I was sold!
LIke most Galaxy Buds headphones, once you open the headphone case, your Galaxy phone recognizes them and asks if you want to pair. Once paired, you control them via the Wearbles app. In the app you can control how the headphones react to the touch commands and the noise cancelling functionality. These are all pretty standard but work seamlessly with your headphones.
The performance is what really sets these headphones apart. The very first song I played on it blew me away. I feel like the sound is perfectly balanced with crystal clear highs and rich lows. I enjoyed it so much I made my wife have a listen and her eyes lit up! And she is the furthest person from an audiophile. I spent at least a half an hour cycling through songs, feeling like I was hearing them for the first time. The active noise cancellation works beautifully well as they block out like 90 percent of the noise. There is also an adaptive feature that will adjust to your environment. This worked pretty well from what limited situations I was able to use them in.
The case is really nice as it has a light gray lower portion and smoke gray top cover. The case chargest wirelessly, which is a must have for any wireless headphone in my opinion. The earbuds themselves are very easy to remove and put back into the case, I had no issues like with a pair of pod pros I own. The touch controls on the stem of the buds are very easy to control. I like that there are no accidental touches like with some other earbuds I own. They make a nice click sound and I always achieve the response I was looking for. Battery life has been great so far and I am always on a full charge as they recharge fully when I put them away between uses.
I cannot say enough good things about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones. I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of their features and performance. I recommend them to any Galaxy user or anyone else for that matter.

This item is absolutely fantastic! The sound quality is crystal clear, with deep bass and sharp highs that make music and calls sound amazing. The active noise cancellation is a game changer, blocking out distractions like background chatter so you can focus. They’re super comfortable to wear, even for long periods, and the fit is snug without feeling too tight.
The battery life is impressive, lasting hours on a single charge, and the quick charging feature is so convenient. I also love how seamless they are with Galaxy devices. pairing them was effortless, and the touch controls are very easy to use.

I recently got my hands on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro from Best Buy, and I couldn't be more thrilled! These little gems deliver such crystal-clear sound, rich bass, and top-notch noise cancellation – they're absolutely perfect for jamming to music, catching up on calls, or just enjoying some peace during my day. Plus, they're super comfy to wear for hours, and the way they connect seamlessly with my Samsung phone makes life so much easier!
What really made my experience stand out, though, was the fantastic service at Best Buy. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me to the perfect choice for my needs. The checkout process was a breeze, and the fantastic customer service blew me away. I walked away feeling really confident about my purchase, and that extra support in-store made it all the more special!

The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro in Silver are a fantastic pair of wireless earbuds that offer an impressive combination of sound quality, intelligent features, and sleek design. Right out of the box, the audio performance stands out—with rich, balanced sound and powerful bass, thanks to their dual-driver system. Whether you're listening to music, watching videos, or taking calls, everything sounds crisp and immersive. The active noise cancellation is among the best in its class, effectively blocking out background noise without feeling unnatural, while the ambient sound mode seamlessly lets in important sounds when needed. The silver finish looks premium and stylish, and the new stem design adds a modern touch while offering more precise touch controls. Battery life is solid, with around 5 to 6 hours of use with ANC on and a total of about 30 hours with the charging case. Features like 360 Audio, voice detection, and real-time translation (on Galaxy devices) enhance the experience even further. For Galaxy users especially, the Buds3 Pro are an excellent choice that delivers great performance, comfort, and convenience in a sleek package.

Well, I was really hoping for more out of these Samsung - Galaxy Buds3 Pro Wireless Earbuds...
The good: Very nice design and a high quality look and feel. The sound is OK (more on that later), but not really any better than several of the other higher-end ear buds I have used from the TIN program.
It was also brilliantly easy to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S 24. I already had the Samsung Wear on my phone for the Galaxy watch so apiring it was as simple as opening the lid for the Buds case. It immedialtely alerted to my phone and I accepted the pairing and I was up and going.
The Wear app has some nifty features including ANC setting, Sound quality and effects, Earbud controls, Earbuds settings and Find My Earbuds. Each of those is pretty self explanatory so I won't go into specifics.
The touch controls in the "blades" work well and are a pretty cool feature but not really any better or worse than others.
OK, so now the "bad":
I am used to (and really, really like) being able to manipulate my earbuds with one hand when removing and replacing the buds bacl to the case. The way these buds and the case are designed, when removing and repllacing the buds, you need to turn them about 180 degrees... I do not llike that. I don't understand why they designed them that way. I know this is probably just a personal thing, but it's worth noting.
Secondly, and again I realize this also is a "me" thing, but even with the largest eartips, they don't feel like they fit well. And to add to that conclusion, when I run the "Fit Test" from the Wear app, they also conclude that it's a poor fit. O know, my big-old man earholes are not most peopes concern, but for us bigger folks, it is dissapointing that the fit negates some of the ANC.
more.
End of the day, they are OK, but for a premium earbud, I would expect

Earbuds that are almost as good as over-the-ear!

I am almost always an Over-the-Ear headphone guy. I usually prefer the sound from the bigger drivers you get from those big heavy over-the-ear headphones. I did find though that I wanted some headphones that would be more comfortable to wear in the gym and while doing things around the house where I need to also be listening for my kids.
These have fit those needs perfectly. I can use the ambient sound setting, put them in and then listen to a podcast while doing dishes and listen in case my kids need something. I can go to the gym, put the headphone in noise cancelling mode and be totally isolated from the sound of dropping weights and feet hitting treadmills.
I have these paired to my Samsung Galaxy. Using it with a Samsung device makes set up and use super easy. The earbuds and the case hold a charge for a long time, I can usually go a full week between uses and this can include multiple hours a day of listening. They fit easily in a pocket and are great to travel with. The mic is clear and makes taking phone calls easy.
And lastly, these are the earbuds that most closely reproduce an over-the-ear headphone experience; especially when in active noise canceling mode. I own Bose, Sennheiser and Heavys brand over-the-ear headsets and while I still prefer those for things like work or gaming: these are super close to producing that quality of sound.

The Earbud Journey. I exchanged them for.....

Here is the earbud journey:
Bought an S25 Ultra phone. Then I bought the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. At first, I thought everything was great. The Buds3 are comfortable, they sounded fine, the ANC was ok, and the app was easy to use. I could never get the right ear to fit well though. The large ear tips were not big enough. Thing I liked the most was controlling the volume by just saying volume up or volume down. The touch controls took a while to get used to, especially the pinch settings.
Then I just got curious about the JBL Tour Pro 3. So, I bought them. I prefer the JBL’s to the Galaxy Buds. Everything is better. The JBL’s come with extra-large ear tips that make the seal. The app works well, and the case is cool. The case is large though, but I do not care about that. The ANC was way better than the Galaxy Buds. The touch controls are not as customizable as I would like.
Then I got curious and bought the Technics EAH-AZ100. First, trying to pair the earbuds to the phone/app was a pain. It took me about 30mins of trying over and over. I almost gave up and then it just worked. The fit is great. Like the JBL’s the Technics also come with extra-large ear tips. So, the buds are comfortable and do not feel like they are going to fall out. The app is not as user friendly, in my opinion, as the JBL app. The touch controls are good and easier to hit consistently as the surface is bigger on the Technics, or at least easier to hit.
When it comes to sound. I am not a super audiophile and cannot tell you about the technical aspects of the sound. I set the phone to the same sound level and set both the JBL Tour Pro 3 and Technics AZ100 to a flat EQ. Used Tidal and played Alan Walker “Faded.” The Technics are way louder and more detailed. Listening with the JBL’s, the same song at the same phone volume sounded lower and muted. Then listened to a bunch of different songs. I am sensitive to the high frequencies. The JBL and the Technics do not sound fatiguing to me. The Technics just sound louder and more detailed. The bass is also bigger and cleaner on the Technics. I am sure people who know about EQ can get the results they want with either earbud.
So, I will use the JBL’s for hikes and stuff and the Technics when I am at home and really want to listen to music. Sorry, Galaxy Buds. But the Galaxy Buds are cheaper and if they fit your ears then give them a go.

Howdy Solat152, thanks for taking the time out of your day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It's important to wear your earbuds properly for many reasons. You'll get better sound quality from them, they'll fit more comfortably, and they'll stay in your ears. Wearing them improperly can cause discomfort, sound leaks, and makes them more likely to fall out. As you know, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sized ear tips. The first thing you want to do is make sure they have the right size tips for your ears. You want them to fit so that there isn't a gap between your ear and the ear tip. This helps to avoid sound leaks and ensure optimal audio. Once you have the right tips on your buds: 1. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. 2. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. 3. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. 4. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. 5. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forwards and backwards until the fit feels right. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to ensure you have the proper fit. To run an Earbud fit test, 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 2. From the Buds3 Pro screen, tap Sound quality and effects. 3. Tap Earbud fit test. 4. The screen will display either In ear or Not in ear. Make sure both buds are in your ears, and then tap Start. 5. The buds will chime for a few seconds, and then the app will display your results. It may say Poor fit or Good fit. If the fit is poor, make small adjustments and then tap Try again. 6. Continue running the fit test and making adjustments until you get a good fit result for both buds. If you would like more information regarding fit, feel free to check out "How to wear your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro." Also check out, "No, low, or poor audio quality on Samsung earbuds" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your audio quality. Let us know if you have any questions afterward or if you would like any further assistance by contacting Support. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

The Good: Sound quality is excellent. It fits just right and doesnt feel like it will fall out. I have from time to time forgotten they were in there because of how seamlessly they fit. Battery life is pretty good, if you turn on high quality mode it will burn through battery quicker, it seems to burn about 30% faster on HQ mode. The controls take a minute or two to get the hang of (Especially if you are used to previous buds) but way better than previous versions.
The Bad: the case is super smooth, like a polished stone, which is very premium feeling but that also makes it hard to grip. I dropped the case several times before becoming frustrated, then getting out some fine sandpaper and roughing up the surface. The pinch controls are great but if you are working with something that requires gloves or gets your hands dirty, you cannot just tap it with your wrist like you could with previous versions. Also depending on how constant and loud something is the noise cancelling gets a electrical crackle sound like a bad wireless microphone.

I got these as i have an Samsung phone and I wanted reliable connectivity and these do the trick! The fit is perfect, even while working out. The sound its good, not awesome but high-quality. The noise canceling is helpful, I keep it on auto and when I'm outside its really nice. The mic is great apparently, people comment that its hard to tell I'm using buds. Just once only one bud worked which was a constant issue with powerbeats buds--which sounded better than these buds but never
worked right. Overall these buds are excellent for the price but i do wish the sound quality was a little better.

I've used a lot of earbuds in my life but none as good as these, not even Bose! I tested my son's pair and liked it so much I went out and bought two pairs!
The best feature for me and my wife is how it works with the S24 Ultra's translation app. We travel to places where Arabic is mostly spoken, and this little gem allows you to hear translated conversations in real time. It is not 100% accurate but mostly so.
Next is the sound quality and man is it really good! I can listen to movies on the TV in just about perfect clarity and with deep base tones. The bud's ability to connect to two different BT devices, e.g. phone and TV, ensures you will not miss the grandkids calling you in the middle of a movie.
Finally, comfort. The bids are so light and fit so well that I have literally walked out the front door, to the car and started the engine before noticing I forgot to remove them. They are THAT comfortable.

Here is my honest review about this ear buds (i come from using airpods for at least 3 years). I gotta say the airpods are better than this earbuds (and I hate to admit that to be honest, I'm a long term user of android, I only changed to apple for about almost 4 years).
The buds 3 pro are not bad persay, they are pretty decent, they do have good sound, i did compare them to my airpods and yes, airpods do cut out outside noise better than the buds 3, the ANC on airpods quite frankly works WAY better on the airpods than on this buds as well. So. I am slightly dissapointed on that.
I haven't had issues with calls so far, buttons work, I haven't had music stop on me, and most of all (which happened super often with my airpods and it was VERY annoying), my buds currently do not disconnect from my S25 ultra.
Battery wise I cannot say much cause I haven't really given my buds time to die, but i probably should to rest how long they last. I barely got them, so i guess i should charge then for now and then wait throughout the week to see how they hold up.
Built wise, i don't believe they feel cheap, they feel almost like my airpods, i like them, the case I also like, it feels well built.
Sound on the buds, i can't say it's bad, but i also can't say is amazing. I think the airpods 2 pro are still better, it has slightly better sound than the buds 3 pro. As a matter of fact, I believe my beats studio even have better sound than my buds 3 pro.
The only reason I got my pair was due to the features the buds come with together with the Samsung phone, it's just to make my life a little easier. I did end up returning my first pair and it seems like this one is a bit better. I also wanted to take advantage of the discount and my $10 reward, so at least i didn't break the bank too much with this discounts.
Overall they are good earbuds, just not the best in my personal opinion. Airpods 2 pro unfortunately still sound better, but can't be used on S25 ultra like I'd like to. Hopefully software for the buds 3 pro can make the sound way better and the ANC better cause even if it doesn't suppose to mute the world outside, i definitely cannot hear ANYTHING with my airpods 2 pro, to the point that someone had to tap me to get my attention. That's the type of ANC that I want, on the buds 3 pro, I can still hear the outside world, even if slightly; and i dont want that. I'm trying to block the outside world to be able to concentrate on what I'm doing. I used to be able to do that with my airpods with no issue, so i hope the buds 3 pro gets a software that can do that exactly.
Overall, like I said, good earbuds. Maybe not worth $250 so if possible, get them when they are on sale. I saved myself around $75 which is not too bad.

Completely Blown Away

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
At this point I think I've lost count of the number of wireless earbuds I've had over the years, but I've had many, ranging in price from super cheap to very expensive, and I have to say that the Galaxy Buds3 Pro are easily, and I mean EASILY the best quality in terms of sound I have yet used. But it's not all rainbows and butterflies, they do have one glaring issue, so allow me to discuss.
Packaging:
Super simple, just a small black box with the earbuds inside their charging case inside, cable, and a few extra ear gels. Nothing to write home about here, pretty standard, in fact minimal mightbe correct, but I'm ok with this.
Fit:
I put them in with the default medium size ear gels in place and they fit perfectly. In fact I was almost immediately blown away at this point, but I'll discuss more in a minute. I put them in, they turned on, noise cancelling engaged and I knew something special was happening.
Setup:
As with most Samsung products these days, particularly if you have a Samsung phone, they showed up immediately on my device as ready to pair. I still see this as a weird security concern, especially when I'm sitting in hotels and the TVs are all trying to pair with my phone, but be that as it may, it's their thing, I don't love it, but maybe some do. They popped up, paired and installed without any hassle, so at least that's good.
Use:
Here's where things get fun... As I stated in the fit section, I put them in and was blown away... Now what exactly in the fit of a device can blow someone away. Well, in putting in one, then the other, since I simply removed them from their case they turned on, and immediately engaged the active noise canceling. I will say that this is BY FAR the best noice canceling I've ever used on any headset. Now I'll admit I haven't used commercial grade or studio grade devices much in this arena, but for a consumer device, these immediately shocked me. I was instantly in a silent bubble and I was very pleasantly surprised. I popped up some music and was transported. The sound is full, the base is shockingly responsive, and again, being in your own little sound isolation bubble as markedly good as this just adds to the whole effect. They are superb, they sound great and the ANC is just next level.
So what's wrong with them?
If you're in the market for excellent sound with excellent ANC, then these are it, bar none, at least in my experience. The one downside though is the charging case. In a word, it sucks. It looks cheap with the clear smoke plastic cover, and when putting away the earbuds themselves, since they have the long 'stick' that hangs off of them as so many do now, you have to insert it down into the case, well the plastic cover gets in the way and the magnet is so strong that the earbud snaps down to the case while you're still trying to align the stick. Since the stick is slightly triangular in shape, it really only goes in, in one way, so you're fighting with trying to put them back in the case. There's no quick in and out with these like I've experienced with literally every other set of earbuds I've ever used, expensive, cheap, any. This case sucks.
Why didn't I remove a star? Because the sound is just that good. You might think when compared to audiophile brands they wouldn't be able to hold a candle, but I'll tell you definitively, I took these out and put in one of those audiophile brands and there was no contest, these were better, and I mean by a lot. Volume, ANC, sound quality bass response, all of it was better.
I probably SHOULD mark off a star just for the awful case, but I find it hard to do so when the earbuds themselves do what the earbuds should do, and extremely well.
Do I recommend them? Yes. If I could get them with a completely different case, would I? Absolutely. Maybe if Samsung releases a galaxy buds4 pro next year they can address this, because it really is that bad.

These could have been even better.
Fantastic sounding earbuds for music, almost as good as flagship Sony WF-1000XM5, however there are drawbacks as most of the innovative features are hidden behind owning the highest end and newest Samsung Galaxy phones. Take those features away, and you are left with earbuds that are good overall, but not worth the somewhat expensive asking price considering the Sony flagship buds do not hide their features to certain users, and have superior build quality in my opinion.
Setup of the earbuds right out of the box is pretty easy, at least if you do not have to swap out the incredibly delicate ear tips. It seems they come out of the box with the M size tips installed, and S and L tips in the box next to the included USB-C charging cable. I personally did not have to change the eartips but you can tell they are very fragile. Follow the included directions very carefully to ensure you don’t accidentally rip them.
The (ANC) noise canceling, providing you get a good fit, is pretty good, though again, it is not as good as other older earbuds at this price point. Call quality and mic pick up in my testing was great however, and everyone I spoke to said I sounded great, and even when walking down a busy street with traffic they told me they couldn’t hear much of anything but my voice.
Luckily one feature which was not left for only top tier Samsung phone devices, is the built-in voice control. Want to stop music… just say out loud - Play Music, Stop Music, Next Song, Previous Song, Volume Up, Volume Down, Answer Call, Reject Call - all of these work great. It is a little weird to get used to, but I think this is awesome (so long as no one is around me). Controlling media otherwise is all done thru the stem on the earbuds if you do not want to do it directly on your phone itself. At first it is very tricky to get used to even putting the buds in, as if you happen to put your fingers over certain parts of the buds, it will make a very loud squeal in your ears. However after a few hours of getting used to where and more importantly where NOT to hold them on insertion, the loud squealing in the ear buds very rarely happens to me now. It is some kind of audio feedback loop that seems to cause this. I also randomly heard this squeal while playing music once. Not sure if it was some kind of dropped bluetooth connection to my Google Pixel 8 phone as it was 30 feet away when this happened. You can also just use the pinch and slide physical controls on the stem, though for me it was a little hard to get used to the pinch controls, though luckily my personal most used control on the stem is just sliding up or down to raise and lower volume, and that feels very natural for me. Pinching requires multiple “pinches” depending what you want to do, but it just didn’t feel right to me. I would much rather just use the voice controls or the phone itself.
The charging case on the Buds Pro 3 is made of some kind of plastic made to look like it is metal. The case door also doesn’t have as strong a closing magnet as most other charging cases at this price point I have used. The case is also very prone to scratches, which I guess Samsung must realize as they also sell their own case for the buds 3 pro case. I personally don’t think this is a huge deal, but at least I would have liked to have had a nicer stronger magnet for when you close it. I am always a bit afraid that the case will open up and the buds will fall out if it happens to get loose in my jeans pocket. It hasn’t happened to me, but I can see it happening as that magnet isn’t all that strong.
Ok.. and here is my biggest gripe with these earbuds considering the price point. The most innovative and unique features are all hidden behind using not only Samsung Galaxy phones, but the newest Galaxy phone at that. The missing features are Interpreter mode - which will listen for foreign language and pipe back in English for you, enhanced audio quality modes over bluetooth, and this one is the one that literally even some much cheaper earbuds offer is multi-point audio. That is right, there is no multi-point audio unless you are on certain Galaxy devices. This means you can only actively be paired to one device at a time. I use earbuds on more than one device at a time, most notably on my laptop and my phone. I cannot do that with these. So, I have to just stick to one at a time, and when I want to change devices I need to move to that other device and that is that. For example, I could be watching a movie or show on my laptop or TV, but I will not get notified if I got an email or text on my phone, or an incoming call on the phone. So, I need to ask someone to hold on as I go to the phone and pair it to talk to them for example. Like I said I have earbuds that cost less than half of this that have multi-point pairing and this just doesn’t sit right with me given the high cost of these earbuds.
Now, the audio quality on these earbuds is really fantastic, especially after setting up some custom equalizer settings. I listened to all kinds of music and there was nothing I didn’t like hearing through these earbuds! They just sound great! They sound close to as good as the Sony WF-1000XM5 in my opinion. Bass is very strong for these and I just need to say these are probably the strongest bass you can get out of earbuds, even the WF-1000XM5 in this case. There is a feature that I also like quite a bit which is called Voice Detect (you can turn it on or off in the Galaxy Wear app). That Voice Detect feature detects if you are speaking it will lower the music to a very low level.
Ok, so for me personally, I wanted to like these a lot more than I do. They sound fantastic, and I can live with the somewhat generic stem style look of these, but given that so many features, most notably that multi-point pairing is missing unless you are on certain Galaxy phones, it is a tough sell at this price point. I think there is more value with other options in this price point that sound just as good. However, if you happen to have the latest Galaxy Phones, this is one of your best options.
