Reliable upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro for a bit now, and they’ve turned out to be a really solid pair of earbuds. The sound quality is warm and detailed, with punchy bass and clear highs, which lines up with what many reviewers have highlighted but overall the Buds 3 Pro feel premium, sound great, and have been a dependable everyday pair of earbuds for me.

A step backwards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Galaxy Buds 3 pro after owning the Galaxy Buds 2. I was hesitant to buy these because I really dislike the stem design, but I understand, you want to be like apple, that's fine. The first time I put them on, I hated them, but I decided to persevere for at least a couple weeks before I make my final judgement. -They felt weird in my ears, like they're not in all the way and are about to fall out, even though they passed the fit test inside the app. No amount of pushing, twisting and adjusting helped them feel more secure. -The controls were unintuitive. They went from having to tap on the bud to squeezing the stem, which is very uncomfortable and every time you do it, you have to readjust the earbud because in order to squeeze the stem, you have to kind of wedge your finger between the stem and your face. -They were constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, at least several times a day and some days every few minutes. I've tried different things to fix the issue. I installed all the firmware updates. I unpaired and re-paired them with my phone, I've factory reset them. I've unchecked the seamless connection option as suggested through Internet research. Nothing helped... In my research about the problem, I learned that it's a common issue. -Oftentimes the earbuds were out of sync. There was an ever so slight delay in sound between them which feels very disturbing. The way I got around that was to put one of the buds back in the case and then take it out so it power cycles and reconnects, but even that didn't work every time. -The way they sit backwards in the case, makes it awkward to take them in and out of the case. After owning GB2, the GB3 are a huge step backwards, in my opinion.

As you know, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sized ear tips. The first thing you want to do is make sure they have the right size tips for your ears. You want them to fit so that there isn't a gap between your ear and the ear tip. This helps to avoid sound leaks and ensure optimal audio. Once you have the right tips on your buds: 1. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. 2. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. 3. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. 4. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. 5. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forwards and backwards until the fit feels right. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to ensure you have the proper fit. To run an Earbud fit test, 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 2. From the Buds3 Pro screen, tap Sound quality and effects. 3. Tap Earbud fit test. 4. The screen will display either In ear or Not in ear. Make sure both buds are in your ears, and then tap Start. 5. The buds will chime for a few seconds, and then the app will display your results. It may say Poor fit or Good fit. If the fit is poor, make small adjustments and then tap Try again. 6. Continue running the fit test and making adjustments until you get a good fit result for both buds.

Comfy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are way more comfy than the Sony equivalents and the noise cancelling is a little behind but other than that they are pretty much on par. The only real downside is that they don't have true multipoint although switching isn't difficult it was absolutely seamless with my older Sony's

Best Earbuds
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are some of the most comfortable earbuds I have ever purchased. I wish they allowed some of the same features as AirPods when paired with an iPhone, but Overall I’m still very happy with them.

Listen closely
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound quality. The translator is not what I expected so I'm a little disappointed. Pairing with the Samsung phone and voice commands are excellent. Disclaimer: This is the only pair I have ever owned.

Impecable sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They're ok. I still like the buds 2 better. I did have to buy aftermarket foam buds. The original one keep falling out. So i had to buy foam one. The sound is amazing tho. Extremely good. Clarity and volume are the best from all the pods ihave ever bought. They ease of the app it helps. You definitely will merge into the music or movie or audio book.

Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is very good and they are comfortable. Could stay in a bit better, and the passthrough sound isnt the best. Other than that they are excellent headphones and I think the first software update will polish any issues.

Gimmicks don't justify the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the original galaxy buds pro, these took some getting used to. A few features that I did appreciate from the first gen pros are not present with these such as double tap the outside of your ear to bring volume up or down, and the drivers although they do sound much clearer on these, they lack the big oomph that the first gen bass had. I could melt ear wax with the first gens, these ones obviously went the sound clarity route instead which is not bad if bass isn't your main concern. Now the ear tips having a plastic piece to click in them and not being interchangeable with other earbud ear tips was a nightmare to remove without breaking and change out with other available tips. They constantly slip out and the glossy metal earbud doesn't help the fit (the first gens at least had a silicone coating that helped the bud stick to your ear).Be ready to buy aftermarket tips because if you remove them you WILL break them and the are not cheap to replace. Also if you touch the top plastic mesh while on the earbud when they are in your ears a high pitch screetch can sometimes happen which is pretty annoying when readjusting the earbud, which you will be doing if you keep the OEM tips on them. The touch stick with lights feature is gimmicky at best and a step down from just tapping the bud, do yourself a favor and turn on those voice controls because that's the redeeming factor to this new feature. My last complaint is the step down in noise cancelling with these, I used to be able to use the first gens as earplugs when I slept in a room with loud sleepers without even playing music, with these if I have the Noise cancelling turned on I can still hear the person next to me unless I'm playing some pretty loud kusic. Positives I can list for these is the case is very light and the buds fit good, charging is fast and can keep a charge for a day and a half with some heavy daily use, and the sound clarity is very nice with certain genres of music. All in all I'm still pretty mixed on these earbuds because they do sound pretty good, and the case charges quick, but there are so many issues I've ran into that I'm considering going back and buying another pair of the first gen galaxy bud pros to avoid all the gimmicky stuff added to these that ruined something that didn't need anything new, just some refinement ( such as the uncomfortable fit and low battery). After tuning the galaxy buds 3 pro with a EQ, and buying memory foam tips I have solved most of these issues but the remaining features just feel like gimmicks to try to make you overlook their poor fit, bad ear tips, mid range bass, and apply copycat control stick.
