Crystal-Clear Sound with Excellent Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro Wireless from Best Buy, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is crystal clear with deep bass and crisp highs, making music, calls, and videos so much more enjoyable. The active noise cancellation is impressive and really blocks out background distractions. They fit comfortably and securely, even for long hours of use, and the battery life easily gets me through the day. Amazing Buds that simply perform and feel great!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds might not aim to be the most eye-catching or feature-rich, but they truly shine in the fundamentals. The sound quality is rich and balanced, the noise cancellation is effective without being overly intrusive, and the design is both comfortable and stylish. Highlights: Sound Quality: These earbuds offer a warm, detailed sound that’s perfect for everything from podcasts to pop music. The bass is punchy yet controlled, the mids are clear and natural, and the highs are crisp without being harsh. Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation (ANC) effectively blocks out distractions without creating that uncomfortable “vacuum” feeling. You can still hear faint ambient sounds, but it’s enough to let you focus on your music or work. Comfort: The Buds 3 Pro are lightweight and ergonomic, staying secure even during workouts. I wore them for hours without any discomfort. Battery Life: You get a solid 5-6 hours of playback with ANC on, and the charging case provides an additional 15-18 hours. Areas for Improvement: Touch Controls: The touch-sensitive controls can be a bit tricky at times. It takes some practice to get used to them, and I occasionally triggered the wrong command. Call Quality: While the call quality is decent, it’s not the best I’ve experienced. My voice sounded a bit muffled to the other person in noisy environments. Conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are a well-rounded pair of earbuds that offer a premium listening experience without the premium price tag. They’re not perfect, but they excel in the areas that matter most: sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort. If you’re looking for a reliable and enjoyable pair of earbuds for everyday use, the Buds 3 Pro are worth considering

Jack of all Trades Samsung Buds3 Pro can do it all
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overview ================================= Samsung is no stranger to trying new things, so after a few years of pretty "normal" looking buds, they decided to do something different for their newest flagship true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Samsung was pretty creative with its "bean-shaped" Galaxy Buds Live and I'm glad to see them taking some design risks with these new stemmed and angled earbuds. Initial Setup ================================= Love 'em or hate 'em, they do get your attention. First of all, the case has a transparent lid (clear on the white ones, smoked on the silver) so you can make sure your Buds are charging safely. The entire case isn't clear like the ones from "Nothing", but it is a nice touch. I'd prefer a different choice of plastic instead of a smooth, glossy finish, but I suppose the transparent part had to be made of that. I would have preferred a denser plastic so I wouldn't have to worry about scratches. Of course you can charge it via the included cable or with a wireless charging pad. Note that some protective cases can make it a bit difficult to charge wireless, though your mileage may vary. Lastly, there's a dedicated button on the case to pair with other BT devices that you can't fully control, like a gym's elliptical machine. Though similar to Apple's AirPods Pro, the added stems are actually angled for a less organic and more "tech-forward" look. Not only that, those extra surfaces serve a purpose outside of aesthetics. Each stem also houses a small light which is useful for pairing mode, but they also look pretty cool, illuminating a narrow strip down each stem. Each stem is touch-sensitive as you'd expect, with a very intuitive volume control by sliding up and down the back side of the stem. A single pinch controls play/pause, a double/triple pinches will control track forward/back. If you hold down while pinching, you can cycle through sound modes like ANC, Ambient sound, and Transparency). After getting used to the system, I was glad that it "just worked" since touch controls aren't always the most responsive and a delayed tap or pinch can really throw things into disarray. Often, I end up disabling touch controls for ones that are too sensitive or too delayed. I think Samsung got the flat surfaces correct since their touch controls work fine with either stem. Of course, you can customize them as well. Samsung includes multiple ear tips so you can get the right size and there was even quite a "to do" when some of the early models seemed to have some issues with the tips tearing while being changed out. After a brief delay from Samsung, shipments resumed and I haven't heard much of the issue since. I'm glad to report that the installed tips worked great for me, but I did test swap to the large tips and had no issues going back and forth, so it looks like that problem was solved! Make sure you're getting a good seal so you can get the best listening experience. The Galaxy Wear app can help make sure you have a good seal/fit and help you customize your experience. Specs-wise, I was really excited to try these because Samsung went with an interesting dual-driver design. They paired a 10.5mm dynamic driver with a 6.1 planar magnetic driver. I'm familiar with planars from my large over-the-ear headphones (Audeze) and I was very curious to hear how a small planar would perform. Planar drivers are prized for their ability to provide high-quality, low-distortion sound compared to your standard dynamic drivers. As you can imagine, pairing these was a non-issue. I have the following devices that I tested with: Google Pixel 8 Pro, Samsung S23 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Everything paired quickly and easily with the two Samsung devices, as expected, providing the most seamless switching between devices. I was used to this with my older Galaxy Buds+ and the ease of use is still perfect with these Galaxy Buds3 Pro. They are rated at IP57 which means they're dust and splash-resistant, so they should hold up in a gym, but heavy sweaters may need to look for dedicated active buds. If you don't already have the Galaxy Wear app installed, it'd be time to do it now. Performance ================================= First of all, I'm personally not a fan of buds with stems, but these function perfectly and they actually help get them fitted into your ears properly. Also, they didn't stick out nor swivel around like I've seen with some other companies' stemmed earbuds. The silver finish is different from all of my black earbuds and I liked how they looked - with or without the lights! For stat and codec snobs, you'll be both delighted and disappointed. Yes, Samsung's SSC Codec supports high-res audio, but it's limited to Samsung Galaxy devices! Unfortunately there's no AptX nor LDAC which is a pretty big letdown for non-Samsung owners. I definitely would have preferred that they included at least AptX and still reserved their high-res SSC for Samsung devices. ANC or Active Noise Cancellation is great on these modern flagships. I think you could nitpick and say that Sony or Bose's newest models have slightly better ANC, but I don't think there's a clear winner here, nor do I care about splitting hairs on ANC performance. Fans, air filters and a white noise generator (for sleep) were no match for Samsung's ANC. I would definitely rank these Buds3 Pros near the top of the heap for ANC wireless earbuds in 2024. Onto the fun part - the sound quality. When I'm listening to music for fun (shouldn't that be all the time?), I like a warm, maybe bass-forward sound without losing too much detail. Bass and even some sub bass came through clearly without distortion while mid bass and vocals sounded rich and clear. At the top end, treble was clear and sparkly without being sibilant nor harsh. I listen to a mix of music from 80s to EDM to early 2000s trance to Jpop/J-ballads, Kpop/K-ballads, American power ballads/rock and more. Typically I'll switch between IEMs and headphones to get the best experience, but if I had to choose one set of IEMs, these would not be a bad choice at all. Even on a non-Samsung device using AAC, sound was full, rich, and enjoyable even with ANC on. I wasn't (nor will I ever) trying to listen extremely critically but I did compare these to some of my favorite wired and wireless IEMs and these Buds3 Pro are amazingly flexible, regardless of what you're listening to. Since these aren't just for listening, I tested these on phone calls, Google Meet calls, and some test recordings inside and outside the home. I'm very impressed by the sound quality overall and I had to tone down my usual "headset speaking volume" since things were picking up just fine even while walking around outside. A breezy day or talking in front of a fan allowed for some noise to sneak in, but I suspect these will be fine for most anyone's calls. If you enjoy listening to them with ANC on, be prepared to lose some hours of battery life! Rated at about 7 hours between charges, ANC will cut into that by an hour. Most other flagships that the Buds3 Pro are competing with can last a bit longer with ANC on so make sure you have a charger or charging pad ready! Other features ================================= Game Mode can be enabled in the app to avoid the lag or latency that can cost you a win or a loss while gaming. Usually you don't want to play "twitchy" games nor rhythm/dance games over BT, but with Game Mode enabled, I did just that. Since you won't really miss the reduced range while gaming (on your phone at arm's length or less), I'd say it's a worth option. Ambient Sound Mode works as expected without a ton of hiss like some "non-flagship" earbuds. It's supposed to focus on the human voice's frequency range to pick up conversations which it seems to do (along with other sounds like the hum of a refrigerator nearby). If you turn on the "Auto switch to ambient sound", the Buds3 Pro will use Voice Detect and Siren Detect to automatically switch modes. If it hears your voice, it will allow more ambient sound in so you can have a conversation. When that ends, it will turn ANC back on. It can also detect sirens, though I haven't been able to test that. Adaptive sound is supposed to switch automatically between the modes, turning on ANC when you're in a noisy environment and allowing some Ambient Sound in when you're in a quieter environment. I've never been a fan of these automatic recognition and switching (experienced on some other major manufacturer's buds) since they aren't quite accurate enough. Voice controls aren't a feature I thought I'd like, but it was pretty useful in my home office so I could control my music by just saying things like "pause music", "volume up", etc. This was nice, though lazy, if I didn't want to interrupt my typing groove! Conclusion ================================= I haven't had a chance to try out any of Samsung's Pro-line of wireless earbuds and perhaps I'm lucky I had a chance to test these. It seems Samsung really learned a lot in their previous generations (and perhaps from a competitor or two...) and they came out with an attractive new design, great ANC, awesome and flexible sound quality (thanks to their dual-drivers), and a seamless experience for Android users, specifically Samsung users. As a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S23 Ultra owner, these really are now my go-to earbuds for music, movies and calls. Great sound quality no matter what you throw at it along with strong ANC and a neat new design? What more could you ask for? Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro - an easy 5/5 in my book!

Much better than the Buds2 Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a review based from a simple user's standpoint. I have not purchased many top-of-the-line earbuds, so keep that in mind from a true technical standpoint. In my opinion, so far so good. They do well pairing with my Samsung S24 Ultra. Getting the hang of the controls took a bit for me to remember (not used to pinching versus tapping). I have small ear holes and these stay in so much better than the Buds2 Pro ever did, which was an enormous perk for me for daily use. The ear pad cushions are a whole connector piece versus just the pad itself, which would likely make it more difficult to replace that size if ever damaged or make any color customization. My husband loves the light-up feature, whereas I prefer it to stay off. The noise cancelation and music clarity are amazing for me. No problems with phone calls. The con is that occasionally when inserting them in my ear or the case it makes a brief screech (like bad feedback on a microphone). I don't know if there's something I'm doing to cause it, or it is just a flaw. I haven't truly test the complete battery life, but I haven't had to charge the case but once since the first charge out of the box. I still very much enjoy them and they are significantly better than the buds2 pro. Overall I consider it a win and recommend purchasing them.

Exceptional Sound Quality and Comfort
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and I am beyond impressed! The sound quality is outstanding, with deep bass, crystal-clear mids, and detailed highs. Whether I’m listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio experience is top-notch. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is phenomenal—it blocks out background noise perfectly, making it ideal for commuting or focusing in noisy environments. The Ambient Mode is also great when I need to stay aware of my surroundings. Comfort-wise, these earbuds are a game-changer. They fit snugly without causing discomfort, even after hours of use. The lightweight design ensures they stay secure during workouts, and the IPX7 rating gives me peace of mind when using them outdoors. Battery life is excellent—I easily get a full day of use with ANC on, and the fast charging feature is super convenient. The case is sleek, compact, and charges wirelessly, which is a nice touch. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are a fantastic investment for anyone looking for premium earbuds with exceptional sound and features. Highly recommend!

Best wireless headphones in my collection.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless headphones are easily my favorite headphones in my collection. From the moment I first used them I was sold! LIke most Galaxy Buds headphones, once you open the headphone case, your Galaxy phone recognizes them and asks if you want to pair. Once paired, you control them via the Wearbles app. In the app you can control how the headphones react to the touch commands and the noise cancelling functionality. These are all pretty standard but work seamlessly with your headphones. The performance is what really sets these headphones apart. The very first song I played on it blew me away. I feel like the sound is perfectly balanced with crystal clear highs and rich lows. I enjoyed it so much I made my wife have a listen and her eyes lit up! And she is the furthest person from an audiophile. I spent at least a half an hour cycling through songs, feeling like I was hearing them for the first time. The active noise cancellation works beautifully well as they block out like 90 percent of the noise. There is also an adaptive feature that will adjust to your environment. This worked pretty well from what limited situations I was able to use them in. The case is really nice as it has a light gray lower portion and smoke gray top cover. The case chargest wirelessly, which is a must have for any wireless headphone in my opinion. The earbuds themselves are very easy to remove and put back into the case, I had no issues like with a pair of pod pros I own. The touch controls on the stem of the buds are very easy to control. I like that there are no accidental touches like with some other earbuds I own. They make a nice click sound and I always achieve the response I was looking for. Battery life has been great so far and I am always on a full charge as they recharge fully when I put them away between uses. I cannot say enough good things about the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones. I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of their features and performance. I recommend them to any Galaxy user or anyone else for that matter.

Yup they good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro in Silver are a fantastic pair of wireless earbuds that offer an impressive combination of sound quality, intelligent features, and sleek design. Right out of the box, the audio performance stands out—with rich, balanced sound and powerful bass, thanks to their dual-driver system. Whether you're listening to music, watching videos, or taking calls, everything sounds crisp and immersive. The active noise cancellation is among the best in its class, effectively blocking out background noise without feeling unnatural, while the ambient sound mode seamlessly lets in important sounds when needed. The silver finish looks premium and stylish, and the new stem design adds a modern touch while offering more precise touch controls. Battery life is solid, with around 5 to 6 hours of use with ANC on and a total of about 30 hours with the charging case. Features like 360 Audio, voice detection, and real-time translation (on Galaxy devices) enhance the experience even further. For Galaxy users especially, the Buds3 Pro are an excellent choice that delivers great performance, comfort, and convenience in a sleek package.

Earbuds that are almost as good as over-the-ear!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am almost always an Over-the-Ear headphone guy. I usually prefer the sound from the bigger drivers you get from those big heavy over-the-ear headphones. I did find though that I wanted some headphones that would be more comfortable to wear in the gym and while doing things around the house where I need to also be listening for my kids. These have fit those needs perfectly. I can use the ambient sound setting, put them in and then listen to a podcast while doing dishes and listen in case my kids need something. I can go to the gym, put the headphone in noise cancelling mode and be totally isolated from the sound of dropping weights and feet hitting treadmills. I have these paired to my Samsung Galaxy. Using it with a Samsung device makes set up and use super easy. The earbuds and the case hold a charge for a long time, I can usually go a full week between uses and this can include multiple hours a day of listening. They fit easily in a pocket and are great to travel with. The mic is clear and makes taking phone calls easy. And lastly, these are the earbuds that most closely reproduce an over-the-ear headphone experience; especially when in active noise canceling mode. I own Bose, Sennheiser and Heavys brand over-the-ear headsets and while I still prefer those for things like work or gaming: these are super close to producing that quality of sound.

I really wanted to like, but dissapointing...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I was really hoping for more out of these Samsung - Galaxy Buds3 Pro Wireless Earbuds... The good: Very nice design and a high quality look and feel. The sound is OK (more on that later), but not really any better than several of the other higher-end ear buds I have used from the TIN program. It was also brilliantly easy to pair with my Samsung Galaxy S 24. I already had the Samsung Wear on my phone for the Galaxy watch so apiring it was as simple as opening the lid for the Buds case. It immedialtely alerted to my phone and I accepted the pairing and I was up and going. The Wear app has some nifty features including ANC setting, Sound quality and effects, Earbud controls, Earbuds settings and Find My Earbuds. Each of those is pretty self explanatory so I won't go into specifics. The touch controls in the "blades" work well and are a pretty cool feature but not really any better or worse than others. OK, so now the "bad": I am used to (and really, really like) being able to manipulate my earbuds with one hand when removing and replacing the buds bacl to the case. The way these buds and the case are designed, when removing and repllacing the buds, you need to turn them about 180 degrees... I do not llike that. I don't understand why they designed them that way. I know this is probably just a personal thing, but it's worth noting. Secondly, and again I realize this also is a "me" thing, but even with the largest eartips, they don't feel like they fit well. And to add to that conclusion, when I run the "Fit Test" from the Wear app, they also conclude that it's a poor fit. O know, my big-old man earholes are not most peopes concern, but for us bigger folks, it is dissapointing that the fit negates some of the ANC. more. End of the day, they are OK, but for a premium earbud, I would expect

The Earbud Journey. I exchanged them for.....
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is the earbud journey: Bought an S25 Ultra phone. Then I bought the Galaxy Buds3 Pro. At first, I thought everything was great. The Buds3 are comfortable, they sounded fine, the ANC was ok, and the app was easy to use. I could never get the right ear to fit well though. The large ear tips were not big enough. Thing I liked the most was controlling the volume by just saying volume up or volume down. The touch controls took a while to get used to, especially the pinch settings. Then I just got curious about the JBL Tour Pro 3. So, I bought them. I prefer the JBL’s to the Galaxy Buds. Everything is better. The JBL’s come with extra-large ear tips that make the seal. The app works well, and the case is cool. The case is large though, but I do not care about that. The ANC was way better than the Galaxy Buds. The touch controls are not as customizable as I would like. Then I got curious and bought the Technics EAH-AZ100. First, trying to pair the earbuds to the phone/app was a pain. It took me about 30mins of trying over and over. I almost gave up and then it just worked. The fit is great. Like the JBL’s the Technics also come with extra-large ear tips. So, the buds are comfortable and do not feel like they are going to fall out. The app is not as user friendly, in my opinion, as the JBL app. The touch controls are good and easier to hit consistently as the surface is bigger on the Technics, or at least easier to hit. When it comes to sound. I am not a super audiophile and cannot tell you about the technical aspects of the sound. I set the phone to the same sound level and set both the JBL Tour Pro 3 and Technics AZ100 to a flat EQ. Used Tidal and played Alan Walker “Faded.” The Technics are way louder and more detailed. Listening with the JBL’s, the same song at the same phone volume sounded lower and muted. Then listened to a bunch of different songs. I am sensitive to the high frequencies. The JBL and the Technics do not sound fatiguing to me. The Technics just sound louder and more detailed. The bass is also bigger and cleaner on the Technics. I am sure people who know about EQ can get the results they want with either earbud. So, I will use the JBL’s for hikes and stuff and the Technics when I am at home and really want to listen to music. Sorry, Galaxy Buds. But the Galaxy Buds are cheaper and if they fit your ears then give them a go.

Posted .Howdy Solat152, thanks for taking the time out of your day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It's important to wear your earbuds properly for many reasons. You'll get better sound quality from them, they'll fit more comfortably, and they'll stay in your ears. Wearing them improperly can cause discomfort, sound leaks, and makes them more likely to fall out. As you know, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sized ear tips. The first thing you want to do is make sure they have the right size tips for your ears. You want them to fit so that there isn't a gap between your ear and the ear tip. This helps to avoid sound leaks and ensure optimal audio. Once you have the right tips on your buds: 1. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. 2. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. 3. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. 4. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. 5. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forwards and backwards until the fit feels right. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to ensure you have the proper fit. To run an Earbud fit test, 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 2. From the Buds3 Pro screen, tap Sound quality and effects. 3. Tap Earbud fit test. 4. The screen will display either In ear or Not in ear. Make sure both buds are in your ears, and then tap Start. 5. The buds will chime for a few seconds, and then the app will display your results. It may say Poor fit or Good fit. If the fit is poor, make small adjustments and then tap Try again. 6. Continue running the fit test and making adjustments until you get a good fit result for both buds. Good battery, fit, and sound. Very minor issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good: Sound quality is excellent. It fits just right and doesnt feel like it will fall out. I have from time to time forgotten they were in there because of how seamlessly they fit. Battery life is pretty good, if you turn on high quality mode it will burn through battery quicker, it seems to burn about 30% faster on HQ mode. The controls take a minute or two to get the hang of (Especially if you are used to previous buds) but way better than previous versions. The Bad: the case is super smooth, like a polished stone, which is very premium feeling but that also makes it hard to grip. I dropped the case several times before becoming frustrated, then getting out some fine sandpaper and roughing up the surface. The pinch controls are great but if you are working with something that requires gloves or gets your hands dirty, you cannot just tap it with your wrist like you could with previous versions. Also depending on how constant and loud something is the noise cancelling gets a electrical crackle sound like a bad wireless microphone.

Better than expected!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these as i have an Samsung phone and I wanted reliable connectivity and these do the trick! The fit is perfect, even while working out. The sound its good, not awesome but high-quality. The noise canceling is helpful, I keep it on auto and when I'm outside its really nice. The mic is great apparently, people comment that its hard to tell I'm using buds. Just once only one bud worked which was a constant issue with powerbeats buds--which sounded better than these buds but never worked right. Overall these buds are excellent for the price but i do wish the sound quality was a little better.
