Best budget phone for anyone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse has a great design and feature set you would expect to see on a far more pricey device. Its camera can take Point and shoot quality photos, and it also can take full HD videos. The 5-inch display is HD and LED, making viewing angles perfect for anyone. It also has a nice gloss and edge that makes it feel like a nicer phone. The J3 Eclipse is made for anyone from your children to your 70-year-old parents. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS (as of March 2018) which provides many software options and additional features. It packs a powerful all-day battery, giving you the power you need from home to work and back. All things said, the Galaxy J3 Eclipse is an outstanding device perfect for anyone that cannot afford a nicer phone such as a Galaxy S9 or iPhone 8. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone. I am in the process of making a YouTube review, so when I post it, I will include a link here as well.

This phone is unusable.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never been so displeased with a product to review it-- but I can barely use this phone. When I initially got it there was a lag in processing (aka when I click on an app or close the window it takes a few seconds). This lag has just gotten progressively worse in only the last 6 months (not even!) I have had this phone even though I try to keep minimal amounts of apps and things stored on it for this reason. This lag takes so long I will often click again thinking it did not work and will end up going multiple screens away since I ended up clicking on something else--this is extremely frustrating. The lag is frustrating and counterproductive enough let alone having the windows getting messed up. Most recently the home button seems 'stuck' such that google will open randomly (holding the home button opens google). This random opening just causes more issues. The only benefit I have gotten from this phone is that I use it much less unlike being glued to my phone like the rest of society. But I can not get anything accomplished with this phone and it is interfering with productivity. I am getting a new phone and cannot believe --especially in this day in age-- that a phone like this exists. My flip phone performed better. I am especially disappointed in Samsung as I have used their products and phones in the past and have been very pleased, but this has absolutely ruined my impression and investment in them.

Ok for teens
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the phone for a year now, and it's been okay. But the main reason to not get it is because it's really slow, it also never gets updates to fix any of the performance problems. I've had maybe 5 updates for the whole time I've had the phone. I think it's an okay phone but its extremely slow and the battery life isn't even that good as people say, maybe for elderly people it'll work but for a teenager it'll be dead before they even get home from school. I would suggest spend a little more money at get a better phone with better specs.

DO NOT BUY!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this phone though Verizon a couple years ago and I've had nothing but problems with it! I try playing games and it crashes ALL THE TIME! I've had to replace the battery, and ever since I got a maintenance reboot screen, the service for calls and text drops CONSTANTLY! I keep having to restart my phone in order to make calls and send texts! Garbage phone!

Fragile Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gone through 3 of these in the past 4 months. The first one's battery exploded. The second one became unusable after it un-calibrated itself. And now, my current one refuses to charge now.
