After 10 minutes of double clicking- yes u have to double click EVERYTHING, i was ready to throw the phone at the wall. Returned. Do not buy!

LED light does not come on after receiving a text or email. Software does not allow for it. I hate it!!!! The phone just beeps.

Never use or registered It was bought as a gift. I could not return it because it was after Xmas.

This is my first android phone so didn't want to spend a lot of money, I've had a tracfone flip for years never a problem, so figured it would be a safe to stay with tracfone. The phone is fast and smooth scrolling, charges fast and keeps a charge, I've had several iPads and this keeps a charge comparable to my mini. Bought the otter box symetry which is a perfect fit along with 128 gig sd card, put my entire music collection on the card, it actually has good sound through the ear buds when you get the eq dialed in, for the price I paid definitely impressed.

Purchased this phone to replace my ageing Samsung Luna Pro. After setting it up and transferring my contacts I realized that I could not get the LTE connection to work. It would only work with a 3G connection and ONLY with CDMA network mode enabled. With LTE/CDMA enabled there was no data connection no matter what I did. After a long time of troubleshooting I decided to rename the APN to the APN of my old phone which is "VZWINTERNET" (without the quotes). Immediately after changing the APN name the phone was able to use LTE. The APN that was set had two words with a period in between. So beware, tracfone has set the wrong APN name in this phone's mobile networks settings and will default to 3G speeds. With Tracfone's data being very expensive you want to get the most out of it.

Long battery life, good sized screen with great picture quality. Gorrilla glass is all i will buy, very durable, scratch resistant. A good deal.

I love TracFone and have had many TracFones. Cons: However as for the Samsung choice, this one from day 1, rarely keeps the battery charged for a whole day. The system fonts are so small as to be invisible. Sometimes alarms go off when the phone is turned off, which means a setting got changed without me changing it, which has also happened in other ways on that phone. It helped to make the keyboard brighter with the accessibility choices. You definitely want to peruse the settings because the defaults are not what one would expect. A lot of the time it charges slow but I use various charges. It only has space for one or two apps. It runs out of space from time to time with very little use. Pros: It's lightweight, fits standard cases, and has a typical micro port for charges. Sometimes it charges fast (probably on its original charger). It has been dropped on hard floors tens of times but is barely scratched and still very functional. It's narrow, for small hand bags. Best of all, it works with TracFone and you can get it on sale very affordably.

Purchased Galaxy J3 Orbit Phone on cyber monday for a great price with free shipping. It does has a lot of detailed features but I would rather have a good solid phone with quality necessities. I guess you get what you pay for and it is considered a budget phone compared to the good phones today. The phone's sound has sporadic volume issues besides being low at the highest volume. It's also hard to open the phone right away. When you press and hold it, it gives you the editing features. When you tap it, it is supposed to open the phone which does work but after several tries. Other than that, it seems sufficient for what it is. I would have also preferred startup sounds which this phone does not have. Now the free shipping seemed wonderful at first. I was notified it was UPS and was very impressed. Slowly I learned it was really UPS SurePost which is an economy ground service. UPS transfers the delivery to USPS and then USPS delivers it to you so you have to track it on 2 carrier sites. The delivery day kept changing daily so I had to keep checking. I guess there are no real free deals that are without some kind of hassle. Overall I would recommend the phone compared to other budget phones on the market.

This phone does internet better than texting. Speed is excellent. However, coming from my awesome little Samsung Core Prime, too many features are missing. Most importantly, the LED notification light is not on this phone. I asked this as a question and received incorrect answer. Also, the text bubbles are no longer blue and yellow. Outgoing is blue, incoming is nothing. No color. Just black letters on screen. I prefer the familiar colors. I'm playing around with Textra to see if I like that better. The font size is adjustable in Textra and that makes it easier to read. Everything is so bland now. They also took the gridlines out of the calendar. I really did like the old calendar better. If I could just update my Core Prime to have android 8 I would keep it.

I received my phone in the mail a week ago. I use safelink for my provider and had all my info transferred to this phone Without any problems, until I realized that I can't access my data. After 2 calls to safelink, 1 call to Tracfone, it still doesn't work. Tracfone told me to reset the phone to do a factory data reset. I did, and it still doesn't work. They want me to call them back, I hope someone can figure it out, because I really like this phone.

i upgraded from a lg rebel lte .this galaxy j3 orbit hes many new features ,i am still learning how to use them. so far everything works great.tracfone service helped me set up the phone roll my minutes

My needed a 3G Android 4.4 update due to certain apps we use. We were using older MOTO phones. The Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit seems to be a great little phone. Activation on tracfone is now automated and a breeze. Phone number, minutes , pictures and contacts all transferred flawlessly. We are moderate phone users and load a small number of apps onto the phones. This lower end phone is perfect for us.
