Maybe some people have a better experience but I've tried "re-training" three times and it still only reads my fingerprint about half the time, it reads my fingerprint quickly maybe 1 in 20. My Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 read my fingerprint quickly 19 out of 20. Unlocking your device is such a fundamental function it outweighs many of the benefits of this device.
