The new phone is incredible. The screen is awesome. I can't really tell you about the 5G because Verizon does not have it up in our community as yet. The speed and responsiveness is much faster than my prior phone. I got a great deal on it, and saved $650 off the price, so it was not that expensive.

This is one great device! Much more than a phone. With Dex it becomes a Chromebook. With S pen, it is a notebook. With the cameras, it is great for photos and videos. With the large screen and good speakers it is an entertainment powerhouse. All that mentioned, but still much to learn.

I made the switch from a note 8, so I was already familiar with the note ecosystem. Initially, I wasn't sure I had made the right decision. The note 8 was paid off and the new phone didn't seem that much different. However, after using for a couple of weeks now I would not go back. The one UI 2.5 has a number of better features. The optimizations I've been able to make with the Goodlock app and the speed of the phone vs. the note 8 are worth it. The screen and it's faster refresh rate are fantastic. The finger print sensor in the screen works quite well, though I think having the sensor on the back was still better. The biggest negatives are the camera bump, having the buttons on the right side of the phone, and moving the s-pen to the left side of the phone. I'm right handed and usually hold the phone with my left hand and interact with it using my right hand. Having the s-pen on the left doesn't make sense. They should have put the camera on the right side instead so the pen could have been on the left. It is however, a minor inconvenience. The battery life is much better with this phone, but it is still insufficient if you do a lot of streaming. You won't make it through the day without a recharge. I would have given it five stars if Samsung would have put in at least a 5000 milliamp battery. Make sure you get a case. I bought a case with a kickstand that offsets the camera bump, making it level when I set the phone down. If you have a phone that's more than a couple of year old it's worth upgrading.

The phone is a bit large, but it has the best cameras ever. This is the first phone i ever bought that easily replaces my pretty nice Panasonic Lumix Camera. Phone also has a nice screen and the speakers have great sound... earbuds not really needed.

I have been an iPhone user for years. I decided to try the Samsung Galaxy on a whim. I am glad I switched! It took a little getting used to but I do like the phone. Granted, each phone has features that are better/worse than the other. I really like the pen and the screen clarity is great.

Purchased this phone on sale. I didn't have an absolute need to upgrade from my Pixel3 XL, but am so happy I did! The resolution and battery life are both major upgrades from my previous phone. Setup was quick and easy and I was able to restore everything from my previous device.

It is exactly what you expect in a new Samsung flagship phone. Great screen, great response, and an unbelievable camera. Upgrading from the 9+ and moving back to the Note line with the S-pen. Love everything so far, except for the removal of the heart rate sensor and oxygen sensor.

The benchmark for a phone. Still love removable media for self ease. Incredibly fast and gorgeous display. Apple makes a superb product, but I really love Android OS and Samsung phones continue to get better and better and better.

I keep phones for a long time. I got this phone to replace my aging Note 8. Now that was a phone to love. Everything about it was great, but the battery was not really holding a good charge anymore. I figured that if the Note 8 was great, the Note 20 Ultra would be amazing. It's not. Not even close. There are some definite pros to it. It has a very nice screen. It's quite bright and colorful. It's also nice to have the latest Android OS. The Note 8 was stuck on Android 9 forever. Android 11 is nice enough. I got the bronze color and it is a nice shade. I really like the color. The voice/call quality seems good, but that's only when I'm on WiFi calling. It's nothing special when I'm out and am relying on regular calling. Fingerprint unlocking also works very well. That's about all I like about it. Samsung brags about the quality of the camera, for instance, but I haven't found much to like about it. I do a lot of up close macro shots and this phone absolutely refuses to handle them. I can't get focus on the entire picture. Instead it will focus on one small area and then blur the rest of the area. If I focus on a different area, then it blurs everything else. It looks like dirt on the lens, but the lenses are clean. If I want good focus on the entire area, I have to pull the phone far enough away that it is no longer a macro shot. I take all macro shots on my old Note 8, and it does a much better job. I did some searching online and there are a bunch of complaints about how this phone handles macros. I was hoping the last update of the OS would fix it, but it did nothing at all. I also have a difficult time typing anything on it that makes sense. In order to type without major spelling and capitalization errors, I had to put it in a huge, ugly Samsung Rugged case. It makes it easier but it also makes the phone larger and heavier. Another problem that I didn't have with my Note 8. Signal strength is also a letdown. I can barely hold on to the 5G signal and when it drops down to 4G, which it does frequently, it isn't any better. Fortunately I spend a lot of time at home because I work from home, and the phone spends most of its time connected to my WiFi. Battery life is also poor. I don't use the phone a lot because I'm not out as often with the pandemic and I do most of my work on my computer. Even not being used at all, it loses about 20% of its charge per day. Just sitting there doing nothing. I hate to keep coming back to my old Note 8 but it always did better with standby battery time, even when the battery started letting go. I don't like this phone. I am likely going to go the route of getting the battery swapped out on my Note 8, having Verizon turn it back on, and getting rid of this thing. I dislike it that much. I'm sure I'll take a hit on it but at least I won't have to stare at any more half blurry macro shots. Every time I go to get a new phone, I always look at what Samsung has and what Apple is offering. I am entirely Apple other than my phone. I have older MacBook Pro and MacBook Air computers and a second generation iPad Pro. I have never had an iPhone and have had Android phones since the HTC Evo on Sprint. I've always liked Android better. I am second guessing my decision now though.

Going to this giant of a phone from an iPhone was easy and compared to Apple, Samsung note 20 ultra is so much better. No complaints, 10/10 only thing is price but if it wasn’t for the holiday deals I would have never considered it. Awesome phone very happy.

Un upgrade from my previous galaxy S 8 phone. The only unfortunate thing is the lack of the conventional headphone jack. I have no problem with using bluetooth, its just that I prefer having the option of using wired headpiece sometimes.

Amazing phone, the best Samsung I've owned to date. Battery is exceptional except when display is on 4k mode, but that is to be expected. Service reception is pretty good too, even with Verizon as my Carrier.
