Boost Mobile or even T-Mobile would have been better for my needs... The Best Buy service plan couldn't even answer one simple question

Poor reception, dropped calls. I tried to work with Samsung and they wouldn't do anything. We bought two and it cost almost $1,000.00 to get out of them.

I have to say this is the best phone I have ever owned. I've had iphone never again three htc which I loved so it was hard to admit this note 5 was better but you have to try to see and the best buy service was great I asked allot of questions when I was buying the phone and they had an answer for all of them so 5 stars to best buy also

    Sleek Phone

From the 16 MP camera to the stylus pen, this phone has all the features I was wanting. Taking notes when the screen is off is a huge help when you don't have a pen and paper around you.

I love the phone. pretty much all the good reviews here hit it spot on. My only problem is the fact that Best Buy didn't have white in stock so I settled with "black", only to find out it's a hideous dark blue and Best (because their competition is dead and/or dying) Buy doesn't do exchanges on colors even though they're the ones who were out of stock and this thing is still unscratched.. now I have to find someone with a white note 5 willing to trade for an ugly one because their case isn't CLEAR WITH GOLD SPARKLES. This thing is an eyesore. If you like really dark yet somehow still obnoxious blue though, go right ahead. I seriously can't get over what a bad color this is though so 4 stars..

I went from a Note 2 to the 5. Note 2 was great, but had some issues, which the 5 doesn't seem to have. Great new features, too!

All good except for battery life

Specs say you should get 8hrs battery life, they forgot to add " with no use". Shortest charge of any phone I've ever owned, I have to keep chargers and battery packs handy throughout the day, even after adjusting/ turning off battery sucking features. If you can deal with that then this is cool phone.

I bought this phone unactivated on the 1st of June instead of the 5th and was not qualified to receive the free gift because of that. Anyway I had it activated soon after at the Att store and I found the phone to be buggy some taps I did are not responding especially when I try to save a web page I tap the 3 bars on the top right to do it and I get nothing I have to tap many times or hold it to access the option and then it's still a hit or miss situation also apps tend to minimize all the time without me doing anything. I think if the resolution on this phone wasn't so good I would have stuck with my Att phone by ZTE Max 2 which is an awesome phone no problems at all. The only reason I changed is because I wanted better resolution and even though the ZTE Max 2 has great resolution it's not quite as good as the Note 5 but then again it doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. I may or may not recommend this phone to a friend however I have to select one or the other so I will select yes for now.

Not very impressed. Battery life is at best comparable to my wife's 1 year old Iphone 6. Expected more based on online reviews.

I was very sad to give up my iPhone and go back to android. But I love my note 5. Good quality phone. Been dropped and thrown by my 2 y.o and still in great condition.

Phone is great - deal is not

Bought this phone from Best Buy instead of going directly to AT&T just because of the $250 gift card promo. No specifics listed about deal ANYWHERE on website - just have to buy on installment contract, which I did. When I hadn't received my gift card 10 days after purchase (supposed to receive via email within 24 hrs of activating phone) I called customer service. After lots of "checking with a supervisor" I was told that though the website isn't specific, the promo is limited only to NEW AT&T customers or upgrades only. Since I added a line to my plan when I purchased the phone on an installment contract I didn't qualify. I was offered a $100 gift card that I'm supposed to receive via snail mail within two weeks. Not cool, Best Buy - either edit your website or honor your promotions as advertised. I've purchased my last five mobile devices for AT&T from Best Buy just because you're close by, but next time I'll skip the middle man and go straight to AT&T.
