Coming from a Note 3, this Note 5 is soo much faster at everything it does... From taking crystal clear 4k pictures, to multitasking, and beyond. Calls are clear, multiple themes, improved spen features. Fingerprint scanner, and heartrat monitor are new to me and nice. Also, not having to wait on Otter box to have a Defender seriescase availible atlaunch was nice! Took almost 2 months, when the Note 3 was launched! The only negative of the Note 5 is not having a micro sd card slot!

I was a very happy Note 3 owner and was hesitant to upgrade to the Note 5 for fear it wouldn't measure up. I am more than happy with this phone. Love the narrower size. Makes it easy to grip and type. The S pen is easier to use. Love the color choices(I got the gold). The screen resolution is so much better too. Can't say enough good things about it!

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an eye-catching design, high-end hardware and takes great outdoor photos. Using the stylus has never felt better, and battery life is terrific along with quick charge makes is all the more wanted.

Just went to Best Buy store to see this. Its an awesome phone with all the required features. Its the best phone in the market now. I'm sure its far better than iphone 6s

Very unhappy with this phone. I get half the service i did when i had my s5. The operating system seems to freeze up all the time.

Great screen, pen, and camera... but there is one HUGE flaw with this phone: It cannot receive immediate push email notifications. Long story short... I wasn't getting push emails from two devices we use that send out alerts. Called Verizon AND Samsung tech support and for hours over several calls they tried to figure out the issue. Couldn't fix it. Then found some forums on Android Central where dozens of people were also reporting this same issue with some S6 and Note 5 units. The general idea is that the customized software Samsung is including in the phone is doing this, but no one could fix it even trying dozens of setting changes and even factory resetting phones. Push emails are essential to some people and if so, an as of yet unknown number of these phones have this problem. Took it back. Too bad because the other features were great.

This was my first smart phone upgrade since an iphone3 back in 2011. I had switched to just a very basic and low cost touch screen samsung because i grew to hate the iphone and eventually l decided to go a year not even owning a cell phone. And this upgrade has made me rely on my phone for everything. It has replaced my home computer and has been very dependable. {My negative thoughts towards the iphone ive been told is because i had a 3 and the 6 is better.. but no matter what upgrades it has, it doesnt have the freedom samsung does (in my opinion)} this review was written after 6 months of owning this phone

This is my second note phone. And I'm in love with it. this one looks great an easy-to-use. But I'm disappointed I didn't get my Wireless charger. Because you have to be on the on the service contract.

1) I waited forever for this phone and got it as soon it came out, I was excited about all the features it offers, android as it's known more open than iOS + the Note 5 gives you this extra super valuable Stylus BUT what the benefit of Bigger Screen, Open Software, Amazing Stylus, Good design WITHOUT a good battery life, If you are a normal person that make calls and receives text messages and browse some internet, You're not gonna be happy with the battery life. 2) I bought the Note 5 (battery 300mAh), my wife bought the iPhone 6s plus (batter 2700 mAh) My phone lasts roughly 12 hours with regular use, and I was very shocked and jealous that my wife's phone was on 75% battery after 21 hours of use. 3) My phone got defective after 4 months, every while it starts alarming me "The dock is connected" continuously, the only way to fix it is to turn the device off for an hour to cool down, Thanks to Google, I discovered this is a well known issues with many Samsung devices, I take it to Samsung shop in Best Buy, they confirm it's defective. I call customer service, they refuse to replace it without examining it, and because they have no stores in the U.S, this means I have to ship it (2 days to arrive) and wait at least (1 week) till they examine it and another (2 days) for shipping back. Total almost 2 WEEKS WITHOUT A PHONE!. While when my old iPhone 5s got defective, Apple replaced it in 1 store visit!!!! Thanks Samsung, no more trust!

This phone is awesome and takes great pictures! I bought this as a Christmas gift and it is by far the best thing we have bought this season.

This best feature of the this phone is the spen and the screen . Quad hd is the best screen ever. Forgot iwack and get a real smartphone.

I must say, this phone looks great. It has a great picture quality, a great camera, and great speed. BUT, if you plan on using it as a multitasking device which it's supposed to be the "ultimate multitasking device" prepare for disappointment. I had this phone for just a few hours before I returned it. It says it uses 4G LTE but it's still the same as the Sprint Spark. It don't allow you to use data while on a call. HUGE disappointment when your constantly on the go and processing payments for customers while talking to them on the phone. Or not being able to search the internet while talking to a customer. This is a huge deal breaker for me. I also downgraded from the Note 4 for the same reason. I'll be switching carriers soon if Sprint doesn't do something about their network. What's the point of never being able to upgrade to a better quality device with more functionality than the last version? Too bad you ruined a great phone by using a lousy network setup.

Got my note 5 yesterday. Samsung did an excellent job with this phone.

I absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy Note 5! I love how easy it is to hover around. The camera is definitely one of the best I've seen on a cellular phone.It also includes Microsoft Word, which helps for that last minute deadline. I would definitely recommend this device.

Purchased this phone for my son. Within two weeks, he had already messed up his S-Pen by mistakenly inserting it backwards. After several web searches, it's obvious that this is a design flaw as the previous version of the phone didn't allow this to occur (my wife has a Note 4). Otherwise this is a great phone and my son no longer complains about problems with his phone as he did with an iPhone.

I recently upgraded to the Note 5 from the Note 2! I did however return the phone because I did not like that the battery was not removable. I can just image the day when the battery life is not as strong as it was when it was first purchased and I cannot switch out my batteries. I am not worried about the storage on the phone since I do not use a lot of memory. However, the biggest factor for me was that I could not access the internet while on the phone :( Also, I do have privacy locks on my text messages and discovered that you can view your text through your contacts. I do not understand how a company can remove certain features and call it an upgrade. Shouldn't upgrades be a addition to what you already have on the old phones?

This device is amazing!!! Super fast charging and beautiful phone! i was a little scared to switch from an iphone to this, but i am glad i did....love love love
