I've had many brands but this is my first Samsung phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Tablet that I love so I'd knew this Note 5 would be great. My niece bought one too....and this is her favorite phone too! She loves that you can write on the screen. I love the note feature as well and use it all the time!

My wife loves this phone. She uses the stylus everyday. Huge screen. Great colors.

This is a review from an apple freak. I had tried previous android based phones and always hated the glitches, freezing, and problems I would always run into with them. I never thought that I would go back to android because iphones just work, but after trying my friends note 5 out, I was sold. it is amazing, and does not put limitations on you like iphones do. so much more customizable.

I've been a Apple/iOS user since '08. Family is fully invested in the apple ecosystem (2 Macs, 2 iphones, 2 ipads, apple music subscription). I have been curious about the ability to customize/personalize your own android experience (iOS is curiously still behind in this way..). Because my main email is gmail and I have started using google photos, I thought it would be easy to transition/try on android. I've never done it because android phones come across as cheaply-made or lack the frequent updates to Android OS. The only phone I've been interested in is the Note series. I use stylus' at work for note taking and research on my Surface Pro, and always wanted to utilize such a streamlined and paperless process on a phone. Note 5 provides that... and more. I would argue that (after having the phone now for roughly a month) it is a better, more convenient note-taking tool than the surface. The screen-off note taking ability was what pushed me to give this a shot.. The ability to just grab the stylus and quickly jot an important note down without having to unlock the phone is very impressive. S-Note is a full-featured note taking app that utilizes the sharing capabilities of Android. After a month with the Note 5, I have to say I'm very pleased with the device. The battery drains a little faster than the iPhone 6+ I had before this, but the quick charging has been a blessing.

I like this phone. With a few changes, I could love it. Screen/video is great- sound, not so much. It freezes every few days, but I never restart my phone unless I have to, so that's probably on me. *Question: "why would there be no way to change the snooze length on my alarm"? You'd be surprised how annoying that is. On the other hand- the stylus ROCKS. I use the "smart select" WAY more than I thought I would.

I absolutely love this phone. I never thought I would be one to use the stylus so ritually, but selecting text on Web pages and using the swipe keyboard has become so much easier and accurate with its use. The note-taking features are pretty convenient, as I have increasingly been one to write grocery lists and to-dos on my phone. This is the best phone I've ever owned.

When I went to buy the Note 5 for myself, my wife decided she wanted one too instead of the Galaxy 6 she had been considering. Since buying this, she has been extremely happy with her choice. She uses the S-Pen most of the time. She has been able to adapt to the phone very well, and she enjoys using the various voice commands to easily get information from the internet.

I like the Note models for the option of the S pen. The camera on this phone is a little bit nicer than the Note 4 as well!

Fast Chips and view and take pics are great.. Nice large screen stylus very handy too. Many other handy new features..
