I'm really enjoying my Note 5. The camera on this phone is awesome. I love being able to customize almost everything. The stylus is extremely useful. Battery life is not the best. I had to purchase an app that specifically stops all of the unnecessary programs that run in the background on this phone and now my battery lasts all day. So far I'm happy. I just hope that the phone continues to perform well over time. That was my main worry when I switched from my IPhone. So far so good!

I was looking for a phone with a larger size screen and the Note 5 fit the bill. The camera is outstanding and I'm still learning about the other features like all the uses of the stylus for drawing or writing. Love this phone.

Finally deciding to join the Smart Phone crowd I did a lot of research on cell phones. My criteria was size and ease of use. The Samsung - Galaxy Note5 not only delivers on both but has the added advantage of a stylus.
The phone is large. If you are looking for something to stick in your pocket this is probably not the best choice. However if you have fat fingers and prefer something bigger to not only hold but to type on then this is the phone for you.
Since I'm used to using a stylus on both my Kindle Fire and my Slate I love the fact that this phone has the stylus. Not only is it easier to type using it but it saves a lot of fingerprints on the screen.
It also has an "easy" mode which makes it a lot easier for a first time smart phone user like me to get used to the functions. At some point I may take it out of the easy mode but I have all the icons I would normally use in this mode so I don't need to change it at this point.
All in all I love this phone. It was the perfect choice for me.

So my Note 3 had served me well, but now it was time to get a new phone. I selected the Note 5. Very much like the 3, but with better optics, speed and power management. The best part of the new phone is the camera. I usually do not lif\ke using the smart phone camera for important occasions, preferring my Nikon digital SLR. While the "glass" on the Note 5 is nothing like the Nikon, the almost instant shutter release and ability to control the image is similar. Unfortunately my Nikon may stay in it bag for my next photo assignment. EXCELLENT CAMERA!!!!

I've been a fan since the Galaxy Note 1 and I've become an even BIGGER fan with the Note 5! The new Note is thinner and faster than before. I really like the subtle changes to the Note 5 from the animation when you plug into the phone, to the Lock Screen S note. The only thing I'm disappointed in the Note 5 is what everybody has been disappointed about....the removable battery and the ability to add storage. I really hope Samsung listens to their customers and brings back these options in their next Note. Other than that, I am in love with my phone.

In my humble opinion, the note series is the best phablet for business. The ability to take a screen shot, sign a document and email/share it back to a client is impressive. The camera is fantastic, you can take a pic in 1-2 secs flat.
What I like:
S Pen, PDF document signing, editing and management, great for business, private areas, fingerprint reader, VERY FAST w/ no lag, 4gb of ram for large applications and documents. Ultra HD screen, looks great, you can actually tell the difference when you go from 1080p to this screen.
With the screen off, you can jot down a phone number which as an action memo initiates a phone call, maps-if you write an address, or contacts if it is a name-very useful in sales.
What I dislike:
Updates-Samsung is very slow to update their phones, they have moved a monthly security update cycle so it makes me feel better.
Overall, I cannot ask for a better phone, it replaced my business tablet due to it's size and productive is up.

I originally was trying to decide between the egde+ and the note. The Edge+ is so purty, but i liked the functionality of the pen, I am so very glad i opted for functionality over beauty. I'm sure the Edge+ has many comperable functions, however in the end the pen won the fight. I'm still finding out all the goodies it can do so this is a very limited review. So far I love it.

The first obvious thing about the phone is the size. I have small hands. Even the s4 was a little clumsy to use one handed. So yes, the Note 5 is also clunky to handle one handed for me. Samsung thought of this. There's a pretty neat feature to tap the home screen three times and it puts it in "one handed mode". This puts the phone into a minimized version you can move to left or right of the screen. Think of it as minimizing your internet browser to a smaller window on your screen. This makes it so you can reach the whole screen area with just one hand. Most one handed uses for me are just quick tasks, taps or slides so this is perfect!
Speaking of size, let's talk screen. The screen is vibrant and bright. I've never had any glare issues outdoors in the sunlight that was frustrating enough to remember. The level of details this thing can display is great. My one con is that the edges are slightly curved on the sides. These are virtually impossible to see with the eye but when I was putting on a glass screen protector, they can't make one sit flush across the whole screen. You can put the screen on the center and there's a tiny gap on the edges but we're talking milliliters.
They seem to promote the pen a lot and while it does have its uses, I find that the camera is the best feature on this device. The front facing camera includes a nice wide angle lens. This means if you take a selfie, it will have a wider view so that you can either include more people or more background. There's even a few neat features like front facing panorama! For easier picture taking, you can even hold up your palm to face the lens, this activates a timer. This is useful for taking pictures with one hand! I actually had one of those moments where my sister tried to take a group selfie with the family but her phone couldn't get us all together without a selfie stick or clip-on fish eye lens. I pulled out my phone and easily snapped us all together in a few seconds. It was straight out of a commercial.
The rear camera was also great but not as surprising as the front facing. The rear camera does take very great pictures especially indoors. Their auto HDR also makes taking pictures outdoor turn out with clarity. Other features like slo-mo video and 60fps videos are worth mentioning but were not ground breaking for me. Probably not something I would use as often but neat to have.
I could go on and on about the good things but these are the first things that came to mind that are worth typing out.
Oh I guess I should include at least one thing I dislike. I dislike the default keyboard. I dislike that when I type in a word that it doesn't like, pressing "space" will automatically corrects it. This can be turned off but it really made typing frustrating at first.

For weeks I read every review I came across trying to decide between the S6 or the LG G4. I am so glad I chose this one. Not too small, not too large. I was concerned about battery life and no SD card. I chose the 64GB model and the battery lasts just as long as my previous phone, LG Spectrum 2, did, so I have no complaints. I am completely in love with screen quality!! And can't forget the camera, absolutely the best pictures I have taken on a phone.

I'm loving this new Note 5. I previously had the Note 3 and I liked that one as well. My only complaint so far is the color choices. I hate that only black and white are offered when the S6 edge+ comes in gold.
Functionally it's great. I love the new Spen options. I recommend, especially if you're looking for a phablet. It's not so big that it's awkward to hold. And you won't have to worry about cracking the edge screen like you would on the edge+.
