I have had the note 2,3,4,and now the note 5; all though I miss my 128 mg SD card, This is the best phone I have ever had. Very smooth operating, pictures are great, excellent for phone calls, emails and texting and good for recording guitar song ideas.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S4 and this phone is still pretty amazing. It's big and beautiful and the pen is nice to have.
My only complaint about it is that it doesn't have an infrared sensor in it so I can't use it as a TV remote like my old phone.

I had a Note 3 before and this one is similar yet a better all around phone, it does everything better and has additional benefits. I got the 64GB of memory to more than make up the lack of an SD card. I haven't missed it a bit. The camera is better and easier to use, the functions are laid out better.

The Galaxy 5 note is fairly easy to use after using an iPhone 5 and 6 over the last few years. Not a huge fan of the Verizon messenger app but it works fairly well...adding attachments to gexts is not as easy is other messengers i have used in the past. Screen is easy to read and is superior to the iphone. Wish phone had micro USB port. If I had to do it over for my use I wouldn't have a phone with the S pen feature. Overall glad I left the iPhone platform!

I just upgraded from my old Note2 to a new and improved Note5. I love the S-pen. It is why I get the Note line. So many new features than my old Note that I haven't learned them all yet. The wireless charging is great and the SamsungPAY is very nice that if I forget my wallet I can still pay via my phone.

Great phone. From styling to functionality. I know some will miss the expandable storage and battery replacement options. For me these were not a problem. Love the S-pen and all the new functionality both it and Android have on this device.

I went from a note2 to the note 5. Quite happy with the new phone. Thinner and slightly smaller but just as much screen as there is less case on the edge. New version of Android is a little different but an easy adjustment. Love the new split screen. No complaints. Happy with new phone.

Got this when my s4 broke. My only gripe is the wireless charging does not work well with the charger beat buy gave away with the purchase. I believe there is a flawless in the phone as I have done a lot of searching and I see others with this problem. One fix is to put the screen in daydream mode when charging and this seams to fix this problem.

Test the S-Pen and Screen Before You Buy!

My Note 5 screen has a dead zone in the lower right corner, the height of and half again as wide as a quarter. It prevents the S-Pen from writing or drawing/sketching in that area, and also affects the S-Pen's ability to Swype the keyboard. Samsung production is still filling pre-orders, so Best Buy can't exchange the phone. Samsung will repair, but you have to be willing to be without a phone for up to 2 weeks.

The camera is great, even in low light. I love the features the stylus allows me like picture writing and signature signing. The battery is good, lasts me all day. I love all the Google features. The only thing that could be improved is that it doesn't have expandable storage.

Great upgrade from the note 3. Fast charge is excellent and compensates a bit for no removable battery. The 64gb is good enough for me, so the no microsd card hasn't been an issue yet. GearVR is also pretty cool on it.

I moved from a galaxy s4 and don't regret it at all. This phone is simply amazing! I was concerned that the smaller battery would negatively affect battery life, boy was I wrong. This phone last all day on a single charge. If you are considering a new phone look no further.

I had the Samsung Galaxy Note II which was great for 5 years. I was running out of memory since it was only 16GB and my memory card was full. I wanted to stay with the Samsung Note so I checked out the Note 5. Excellent phone just like the Note II but I got 64GB this time. My only concerns are that you can not take the back off to get to the battery or add a memory card which is why I did not give 5 stars.
