This was a major upgrade. The note 5 takes beautiful pictures and runs flawlessly. It can run multiple tasks without slowing down. It would be nice if it had a micro sd card, but since I have unlimited data through Verizon, I don't mind the 64 GB of storage. In a nutshell, I love this phablet. It has great resolution, the gps aquires its location quickly. It also can live broadcast 4k to youtube. This review was made on the phone. I'd highly recommend it. It just works flawlessly.

I have had the previous Note 4 and also LG G4 and can say this is in a new class of itself. The build quality was something I never cared for. Well, until I put this into my hands that is. I can make do with the non-removeable battery and no expansion memory. This phone feels slimmer and easier to hold in one hand than the Note 4. Everything is very fast and no software hiccups so far.

This is the perfect size phone and it's so much faster than my old phone. It's also great to not have to worry about running out of space. It's too soon to give it a perfect score till I have it awhile.

Was worried about the size of the phone at first but it has not been an issue. I was not sure if I would use the s pen at first but now use it all the time. I am not a tech. persons so I don't get into the whole android vs apple argument and just stick with what I know. The phone works and does everything I ask of it and then some. The only down side is that the battery life does not seem to be nearly as good as my wife's IPhone 6S plus

I did read comparison write ups before purchasing as this is a new product and decided that this was the upgrade that I wanted. It has not disappointed. I was leary of the "only" 64G but it holds much more than you think. My entire music collection(over 1500 Songs) and all of my apps and only have of the memory is taken up. I love the feel of the phone in my hand and I have small hands...It is very intuitive...

I just switched from the HTC one max to this phone so it's quite different from what I'm used to but I'll say this, the phone is a lot faster than my HTC. It's lighter has a brighter screen, the camera is really quite good and the battery life is phenomenal. The quick charger is GREAT! I always charge my phone before it drops below 30 percent and it'll go from 30 percent to a full charge in an hour and a half.

I love this Note 5! My previous phone was the LG G2 and I was having soo many problems with it. I have yet to experience 1 issue with the Note 5 since I purchased it last month. I especially enjoy using the stylish to easily cut and paste out photos or phrases and then sharing with friends! I quickly got used to the big screen and I don't think I'll ever go back to the small phone lol.

I traded in my Droid Turbo for this Note5, and though I loved my Turbo, I can honestly say I like this phone just a little bit more. This is my first Samsung phone so there was a small learning curve for me as I always used Motorola phones. Samsung's UI is very nice but it is not stock Android.
The display is absolutely gorgeous and is able to be seen in any light. I have my screen brightness set to auto so the phone adjusts with the environment.
The camera takes beautiful pictures and the videos are stunning. I like the ability to mess with some advanced camera setting but normally auto settings do the trick just fine.
I have played with the s pen a little and though it is a nifty add on for this phone, you will likely find yourself not using it to its potential. Maybe after I learn all the cool things it does I will use it more.
I also use this phone as my alarm clock so I enabled daydream. I did have to download dashclock app to get the clock and other info to show when charging. Without the third-party app there was no clock option in daydream. Not sure why Samsung omitted that as my Turbo had it stock. The app works perfectly plus it supports extensions so you can add custom info to the daydream screen. Love it.
Overall I am extremely happy with this phone and I can say that it is the best phone I have ever owned.

I had and loved my note 3 until it drown. I purchased an iPhone 6 plus, but returned it for the note5.
The note5 is just about as good as it gets. The feel of the phone, the screen, the S Pen, the speaker...in short everything is superior to my note 3 and certainly better than the iphone.
Love it.

The phone doesn't lag speed and the camera quality is so beautiful. Debated to either pick the galaxy s6 edge plus 32gb or 64gb galaxy note 5. I went with the note 5. Specifications are both the same

At first I was concerned that it would be too large, but after using it for a couple weeks, I now don't think of it as that big at all...I would even go bigger! It's fantastic, super fast, and has everything I could possibly need it to do. Fantastic camera quality. Absolutely love it!

I like big screens and this phone has a gorgeous display. I like all the added features to the camera that my S5 didn't have. I was able to put the camera in manual mode and adjust the settings to allow me to take photos of stars in the night sky. I tried this with my S5 camping last year and it couldn't capture stars. I haven't figured out all the shortcuts that this phone is capable of but the customization that comes with an Android OS is far superior to iOS and I'll never switch. The battery life isn't great and I don't like that Samsung made the unit sealed so the battery can't be easily replaced. I also didn't care for the idea of Samsung doing away with the micro SD card slot so I went with a 64 gig model knowing that my S5 had 16 gigs with a 32 gig SD card and I was fine with that so I feel I will have enough space and I do regularly move photos I want to keep onto my desktop to keep my album uncluttered. Even though it's a Note and comes with the S pen I haven't really found myself using it for much yet. I often forget I have an endless supply of digital paper and pen wherever I go and I always find myself grabbing a blank sheet off the printer and getting a pen out of the drawer. It's a neat feature but its not for everyone.

I would say that it is worth the upgrade from a Note 4.
The camera is my favorite part of the phone. Picture quality is amazing.
I was originally hesitant about the sealed battery and overall battery life, but it's been lasting me all day, with about 30% left by the time I get home.

This phone does it all, the battery life is great, the S Pen adds so many more features. The double screen comes in handy when you are trying to multi task. I just love this phone. Best phone, hands down! I was afraid of going big from the iphone 6, but not a bad choice at all. I am tech savvy so it was a good change for me, got bored with the iphone.

The Note 5 is such an awesome phone!!! The user's experience is awesome. Everything is very smooth and the display is crazy beautiful! I had upgrade from a Note 2 to Note 5. The improvement with the S Pen and S Note is more fluid and I really like using it. The camera is awesome and take really nice pictures. Keep in mind, it have a wide angle lens!

I have had Note 2, 3 and 4 and now 5. It is by far the best Note phone. The features of the detachable pen have improved in many ways. The camera is outstanding! You can opreate the camera using manual features that are similar to SLR choices! Very quick processing. The only disadvantage is the non-removable battery and no micro SD card option.

I have had many different smartphones, including Apple and Windows phones, as well as Android, and this one is by far the best device I personally have owned. The screen is beautiful, the colors are great. The overall build quality is outstanding. It would have been nice to have an SD card slot, which is why I went with the 64GB model. I have had Samsung devices before, and to be honest, was never really impressed with them. This is definitely the exception. The OS is quick and responsive, there is very little bloatware installed, even for Verizon. I do recommend using a case with this phone due to the fact that it is a little slick and could easily slip out of the hand. The camera takes great pictures, even in low light. Call quality is top notch, no issues there, and the speakerphone is one of the better ones I have used. The buttons are well placed and provide a nice tactile feel. Good job on this one Samsung!!!
