I was really worried about the Battery life on this baby... but I was shocked to find it far outlasted any phone I've had in at least the last 6 years... like up to 9% battery life the morning of day THREE!!! (with NO CHARGING) Unbelievably BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY...and features. The Stylus is awesome...don't know how I lived without this device... a real game changer!

The phone is made for inactive people. My screen broke in my pocket in an otter box on the beginning of week three. This phone cannot compete with The I phone 6s I have had for two years with no case. Samsung phones are cheaply made

I've had Samsung Galaxy S3, S5, S7 Edge and now the Note 8! (IPhones, too) but nothing compares to the Note 8. This phone has everything the other ones did only better and MORE great features! So many options! In love haha

Had it three days so far I am loving it! Pros *Clean UI * Fast response *Camera is amazing *Larger screen works * Curved screen is a neat oddity and works *Wireless charging *Stylus (I find myself using it more and more) Cons * Charger (invest in a faster charger *Battery life (to be fair I use it 9 or 10 hours a day)

I got mine on September 14th through Best Buy because they were releasing them 1 day before the 15th as an employee found a loop hole and took the pre-order on the 14th and sold it as a "Shelf Item" and I got not one but 2 of them. I chose the grey for myself and the black one is just sitting there doing nothing and is not being used. Everyone I know including myself has an Apple but I gave my iPhone 7 to my daughter and yes I did have withdrawals from it but this Note 8 does things that Apple and others just can not do. The first 3 days I was looking to head back to the store and just return these 2 phones and pay the $70 to return both of them but I said to myself to give it a chance before you throw something that I may enjoy. Look when I bought my first BMW M3, I ordered the car because my car got recalled and I waited for it to be built because they didn't have any cars that I wanted. After I got the M3 it was not just get in put your seat belt on and drive off. The car was extremely hard to drive the first couple of weeks as I was not getting it. The phone is like the M, they are both absolutely fricken awesome but if you are new to it, the complications or options of the product can be overwhelming and so that is why I gave this Samsung Note 8 a chance and I am so glad that I did not go back to the herd of sheep. The deal I got was insane and on the 2nd phone I didn't even have to pay sales tax because you can't tax free not to mention both phones only cost me $250.00. The reason why is that I had 2 old phones hanging around and one of them was my kids and she's like what are you doing with my phone?!! I said, You are grounded for not doing your chores!!" She got mad as any 14 year old does and I took her iPhone SE backed it up and when I got home instead of giving her the Samsung Note 8, I gave her my 1 year old iPhone 7 with a nice Otto cover/case and she was stoked. AT&T has a program where if you turn in your old phones you can get $300.00 each for them up to 2 phones and they have to be on the list they provide on their site and they have to be worth at least $20 bucks in value. So I got $600.00 back from AT&T and I asked them to just apply it to my bill. I made out like a fricken bandit all thanks to doing my homework about the product and who to go with. Anyway, going back to the phone.....It takes great if not perfect pictures. This is not a $5,000 dollar camera but it sure feels like it. I took a video of the Blue Angels as they flew over my home today and I played it back and this phone is 10 times better than any iPhone I have ever owned. All is said was, "Record Video" and instantly it did as I heard the 4 of them coming up from behind my house in a blue diamond formation. See it's the little things in life that makes people happy and the phone is worth every penny even if you pay $920 to $960 dollars for it. The iPhone 8, 9 or 10 is nothing to write home about. I had to watch the Apple Keynote and when I saw the face recognition go bad and not work, my instinct and gut said like what Bruce Buffer says at the main event fights.......It's TIME!!!! Yup it's time for a change and honestly no other phone that I looked at even comes close not even the brand I grew up with and that is SONY and they make some great products as I am going to buy a $12,000 tv from them or Samsung and I may have to go with the SONY on that one. LOL.... Sorry for the long post. I have only one regret about the phone and it's my fault not Samsung's. And it is not a fault but it is what many people do and that is to nit pick. THE SAMSUNG NOTE 9 and the SAMSUNG GALAXY 9 is coming out in about 6 months and the Note 9 and then also a foldable phone from Samsung which is going to be the biggest punch ever to the entire industry Apple or not. The 9 models are going to be so premium and make the phones we have now seem like a beginners phone, but until then I will enjoy this bad boy and just upgrade and I have to sell this unused Note 8 if I don't break mine. I didn't buy insurance so I am keeping the phone not to sell but just in case something happens to it like I break it big time, lose it or have it stolen somehow.

Not Happy with phone and customer service!!!!

I'm not happy with the phone. It's doesn't really fit with me. I feel also it's very glitchy and for some reason when taking a pic the screen goes red especially when I'm trying to take a close up image. Also, the s pen falls out very easily and i ended up losing it. Anyways, it's not a horrible phone I can live with it. What really upsets me tho is how best buy handled it when I tried to return it. So best buy policy is that you have 14 days to return it. I decided to return it on day 13. I figured it should be easy cause I have never had any issues with returning anything at BB. I buy a lot at and I even go out of my way to drive to a different store to purchase something instead of just going somewhere else close by. I have always experience great customer service until I tried to return this phone. The moment i mentioned returning the phone I kept getting tossed around the store. Going from the return section to the sales section and each time waiting 20 mins to be waited on. The moment i told them the s pen fell out the sales guy Brandon went to ask his manager if he could return it, they told me i could no longer return it because Samsung requires the phone to be returned in the state it was purchases. I asked if I could just buy another pen then. They said that only Samsung online sells them right now and that I would have to get one from them in order to return it. Since it would at least 2 days to get it there's no way I could return my phone. They told me to go to AT&T and try with them. So the next day I did and they told me i couldn't cause it wasn't purchased thru them. They couldn't understand why BB couldn't return it cause they would if I purchased it thru them. So I tried again to return to BB hoping maybe someone else could help me but the same manager was there and again told me that i couldnt return it without the pen. I went to put in a complaint at the service desk and that same manager said all he could do was give me a discount on the other items i purchased. I was so upset I didn't care about the money, I just wanted to return it so I could get a different phone that would suit me better. They told me how jealous they were that I have it and that it's the best phone out there and that I should be happy to have it. A couple days later i decided to ask online and they told me i shouldve been able to return it with a deduction for the s pen. So now I don't know who to believe but I do know that I'm never buy a phone from BB again. I still don't like it and it does have glitches but AT&T said that when a newer phone is available they will trade it in. It's just annoying that I had to go thru this at my favorite store. It makes me not want to buy from BB. :(

Great addition to the Note family

I've always had Samsung phones, and my previous one was the Galaxy Note 4. The Note 8 compared to the Note 4 immediately looks longer than expected. But once you play around with it, it's your typical phablet. The phone keeps charge extremely well, and if you've had a Galaxy before, the basics are the same besides the S Pen. The Note 8 has a different charger than the other Android phones, but it comes with two connectors: USB and micro, so no need to worry about going out and buying a completely new [and longer] charger. Right now I give this phone a 9/10 and I've only had it for a day.

The phone in itself is amazing. Performance, Battery life lead me into upgrading from my note 5. 4 months into owning the phone I noticed the square of the youtube video when you back up to keep on scrolling through the videos was visible on my main screen. I then quickly but a bright background on my phone and noticed the "My Mix" words on top of the square. So now I cant help but see all that stuff in the screen and it really ruins my experience in watching videos, which really sucks since I use netflix and hbo go alot. I would recommend this product if it functioned the way it should. Also keep in mind once i bought the phone I immediately installed an otterbox case and screen protector.

So I got my phone 13 days ago. It started out fine was working great until today I noticed two cracks in my screen. I tried contacting Best Buy and went to the store they basically said they would not help me that I had physical damage. I explained that I had not dropped my phone or damaged my phone and had only used the stylus. The cracks in my screen looks like someone took on razor blade to my screen these cracks literally came out of nowhere. I've tried contacting AT&T and Samsung and was basically told you're out of warranty even though I'm in the buyer's remorse period. And now I'm being blamed for the defect damage of this phone which is clearly a defect in this phone. Other than that the phone is probably one of the nicest Samsung's I've had. this is my 6th samsung phone and I have never had an issue with the screens cracking I had my S5 for 2 years dropped it multiple times on concrete and marble floors and it has never cracked. this screen on the note 8 is definitely a disappointment. if this is a defect with the screen and the stylist I hope it gets fixed very soon because I am not paying $300 to fix a $900 phone I've had for weeks.

    Just don’t have any problems

My wife and I both switched from iPhones and got Note 8 at end of last year. She has hated it for a few months. Yes it may be more customizable, but there are many things that were just easier to do on an iPhone. I personally like the phone. However, hope you don’t have any issues. Customer support is terrible at best. When we first got if we called support to figure out how to do something you could tell they were just reading from internet the same thing that we could find. I tried to upgrade to premium care but couldn’t get to work because according to them I bought at store and not directly from Samsung. Phone now don’t work. If ever had this issue with iPhone and it was still under warranty it would be replaced. Not Samsung. Premium care (which isn’t even thru Samsung) says they will replace but then claim don’t have any replacements. Send in to have fixed take 2 weeks!! I would never buy again.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the most fragile mobile I have bought in my life, I do not recommend it, my glass has been broken in a very easy way and samsung does not answer for the guarantee, it is a very expensive cell phone, that the glass breaks so easily.
