The camera on the Samsung Note 8 is great. Pictures are so clear that when I show them to people, even with Iphones, they want to change.

Camera quality is nice and there's still so much more I have to learn about the phone overall.

I went from a S6 to this Note 8 and I'm never going back to a Galaxy S series phone. Will be getting the Note 10. This phone has been great. No issues at all. Great camera. Battery life is great, well up until the android update, but still holds up. The S-Pen is the best feature I use it on a daily basis.

Made the mistake of purchasing at best buy location before checking online. Sales rep did not mention the free 3d camera you could get with purchase of phone. Called best buy and went by store and both said I would have to return phone and pay a $35 restock fee, then buy a new one and pay another activation fee. So, no free camera it seems. lesson here is check online since they wont inform you at the store of any specials they have going. Even the different store I went into today did not advertise the free camera. as for the phone itself. Have had a few bugs I don't like. had to clear notifications for certain apps, ie, web browser showing a 2 over icon, when I click to clear, it took going in and out a few times to make it vanish. Have had issues with a few phone calls where I cant hang up after call. The hang up button turns back into a call button. Have to show all active apps and then close the phone app to hang up the call. screen write is nice, but now to you have to double tap bottom of screen, then put in passcode or finger print to get into phone. Make you run through that additional step which can be annoying. I activated the face recognition but half the time it doesn't recognize me, esp in low light condition or if I have my reading glasses on. Ati $900 it is pretty pricey, but if they cant fix the few bugs I am running into I think I will still like the phone, just disappointed in best buys handling of their promotions. So much for a price guarantee from them.

I just love my phone. I always favor the Samsung Notes. I like using my stylus. Great built in camera filter.
