I had the galaxy S8 before I bought the note8. If you are a fan of the stylus it is a must have. The s8 and note 8 work about the same. The parts I like most in the note 8 are the stylus and the dual cameras. I love how nice the live focus works.

This is my first note. I have always been an Android guy and had wanted a note7 when it came out, till you know what. I wasn't the least get hesitant to get the note8, in fact I played off my S7 edge early to get and am thrilled with my decision!

I just purchased this phone to replace an iPhone. It is a change but the features are nice. I tend to like most of the iPhone features better but the note 8 is nice. The phone is big and fast! I'm still getting used to it but so far, so good.

Great device, love the size and battery life. The S Pen makes taking notes easy and love being able to use my SD card with it.

The Note8 is a really premium and powerful device. The display is both of one of its strongpoints and drawbacks. The display quality is top notch for streaming and on the go entertainment. However, the overall size of the display and phone overall can make it daunting and difficult to use especially with only one hand. This becomes even worse if you plan to use a case, which is necessary due to the phone being made up of almost entirely glass. Fingerprint sensor placement is also terrible since it is placed way too high on the back of the device making it difficult to reach much less use. The battery life is also not the greatest but it can get you through the day with a boost midway. The camera is really good for any occasion. The blue color option is very sharp looking in person. Overall it is a solid device. However, make sure to feel comfortable with the overall size of it which, for me at least, caused strain in my hands after a few months of use.

This is my first Android based mobile phone, as I have always used an iPhone. There has definitely been a transition phase, but I have been very satisfied with the product so far.

Samsung has done it again, best phone I've owned so far...movie, sound and picture quality are just excellent..The S-pen is always a plus.

I like this phone better than my Note 5, clearer image, better camera and faster. I am very happy with it and would recommend to a friend.

I've been an iPhone user for about 8 years and do love the operating system...so this review is a bit biased. I thought I would finally try an Android phone and see if I could be wooed away from the iPhone. Alas, I was not. After a week I returned the phone because although it was very nice...there are some terrible elements of Android. The camera was magnificent. The menu and app navigation took some getting used to but it wasn't that bad. The part I couldn't get past was not having a good music player and Android Auto. Uploading music to Google Music took forever and then you couldn't really make playlists. Then when I tried using Android Auto I found that I couldn't get to my music easily without hitting button after button or pleading with the voice recognition to do my bidding. Apple Car Play wins this contest hands down and nothing beats iTunes. Sorry Samsung...I wanted to switch but you lost out to the iPhone X. If anyone needs a gently used case for a Note 8, let me know.

Camera works great and the battery is lasting me forever. Will definitely be recommending this product and will be returning for my upgrades!!

My wife’s Samsung Note 8 is an upgrade from the Note 5. The speed and images it takes are great. She really enjoys her new phone.

This phone takes amazing pictures! I love the S pen and it's features. Samsung really made up for the Note 7 debacle with the Note 8.

Not only is my phone operating at nearly the same efficiency as the day I purchased it, I am still learning new things that it can do. One of the best features is the camera. We were in California for our daughter's wedding in December. The professional photographer took a few photos with my phone and commented how great the camera on my phone really was. We even took the phone to Meijer and had beautiful wedding prints made from the photos from my phone. LOVE IT!

I bought two of these for my wife and myself and both of us suffered significant damage on mere minor drops within the first couple of months. In my opinion, the wraparound edge display is unnecessary and leaves the phone vulnerable to severe screen damage on minor drops. 9 months later and my wife has already upgraded to the Note 9 while I'm still using a severely cracked but workable phone. As far as specs and usage, I am favorable towards Android and despise Apple, so I'm already bias. I really found not much difference between this phone and the previous Google Pixel, HTC, and Samung Galaxy phones I've had. If you can find a good deal on it now that the Note 9 has come out, I would recommend the phone, but you MUST buy a case. I have never bought a phone case in 20 years of using cell phones, but I may finally have to do it for this phone if I end up upgrading to the next version.

So far I am loving my Note! The camera is so much better than the Motorola droid that I had before. I really like the pen feature.
