Great phone - Volume Sucks

I have a set of blue tooth ear buds and no matter what I do I can not hear my notifications thru the ear buds. Not only that, it still plays all notifications thru the phone. Samsung or someone please help me figure this out. I have been online and have seen many of the same complaints but I have not found a solution...at least one that works for me. Its alot of money to pay for a phone that I cannot hear the notifications on.

The battery last more than a full day and I use it quite a bit no lag or slowdown very responsive. Would give 5 stars but there is always room for improvement.
