Great battery life and allows me to do everything I want to do, Apps, Internet, Social Media...everything.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S4 in January after being an Apple customer for several years. I like change and felt I needed to explore my options. After doing research and talking to some tech savvy people they had all recommended Samsung. I could see why they were drawn to it, there's a lot of potential for customization...this is not something I found easy at all. The least of my troubles from this phone is the camera - the picture quality is dismal in comparison to my old iPhone 4s. I suffered through dwindling battery life and after turning nearly every feature off I am still seeing the battery life get worse and worse. I was not very pleased when I wasn't even able to use the thing on Vacation in Mexico and was happy I brought my iPod which was able to connect to the wifi on the resort with no problem, unlike the Samsung. The Samsung store on the phone doesn't even function correctly, it crashes whenever I open it so I gave up on that rather quickly. The phone overheats if I use it for more than a few minutes. I am rarely on the phone to make a call but when I do it overheats during calls as well and I have to hold it away from my face because it gets so hot. I have just returned to graduate school and need the device for logging into my classes if I am not near a computer to retrieve my assignments and I do not think this device will function without crashing or overheating so now I have to figure out an alternative as this device is not trustworthy at all. I have a long year and a half to wait until I am eligible for a new upgrade and I am dreading this long wait. I should have went with my gut and stuck with the Apple line...I never had a problem with my iPhones...I guess you live and you learn. I will never buy another Samsung device again, the new tablet is also a pain and a very expensive mistake purchased right before Christmas.

The S4 is a phenomenal phone despite being out for almost a year now. It has great features one would expect In a high end Android phone. With some novel features from Samsung like air view and hand motion control. The speed and power of the phone is great, it's feature filled 13mp camera works great. Call quality is fine. Only complaint is the battery but I can usually get a full days use without charging the phone.

The Samsung S4 is a really great cell phone. I get good reception at my home. The picture quality is outstanding..very clear and crisp. The only drawback that I have is from time to time the phone will heat up when accessing internet or talking. Other than that it's a really good product.

I bought this phone in November 2013, I purchased Samsung s-view case 50.00, do not buy, it is piece of junk. It doesn't protect your phone at all. i dropped my phone 2 months later and that beautiful screen shattered! The phone never stopped working for a month I used it until the screen had split so bad i couldn't use anymore. I sent it off to Samsung to repair, they replaced my screen with oem LCD, replaced silver trim around the phone, updated me to kitkat 4.4.2 and replaced charger unit. I got it back, looks like new phone with all systems updated courtesy of Samsung and not losing all my info. Awesome service, i now have spegen protective case on my phone. I only wish repair was faster, but i am more than satisfied with the results. the new Google maps on android kitkat is awesome!

My GF and I waited over 6 hours at Best Buy to get these phones. The sales staff was pretty good. It was the day after Black Friday, so there were lots of people waiting to take advantage of good deals. We have really enjoyed learning to use these phones. After some Youtube instructional videos, we were able to some many of the features, and lots of apps. Would definitely recommend this phone to anyone.

I purchased the copper Galaxy S5 for $1.00 during the Black Friday sale and was shocked that I was also charged $14.62 for tax on the phone. After talking to four online representatives and one local representative they all said that the tax charged was correct. They stated that in Louisiana, the tax is based on the regular price of the phone and type of the phone purchased.

I just picked this phone up. Havent put it down since we left the store. The color is beautiful! Couldn't be happier with my purchase! Definitely worth the wait!

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE PHONE: 1 - The phone heats up tremendously. 2 - The phone comes with 3GB of RAM memory but the background applications use 1.90GB, so every time I clicked on the browser to check the internet It would first ask me to remove applications or shut down programs. 3 - The volume setting is NOT strong. 4 - I hate the fact the volume buttons are on the same alignment as the power button. Every time I wanted to adjust the volume I end up turning the phone off. 5 - I was having problems receiving text messages. I could send messages, but instead of the Galaxy receiving the messages, my Iphone 4S would receive it instead. 6 - Galaxy has 3 pages worth of Apps they dont allow you to remove and YOU MUST KEEP THEM. 7 - The keyboard wasnt spread out. For such an oversized screen the QWERTY keyboard is too crowded.

I ordered this for my husband,We just received it today.It's gorgeous! love the color and design.It's a great color for men.Not boring like black.Hope it will be on sale soon .I will get a white one for myself..

Upgraded both my wife and my phone at the same time for a $1 each, she had the Galaxy S3 and we were happy with that so the newer phone would be more enhanced and keep her happy. Day 1 the GPS failed on gathering data for its routes. The call signal is weak and does not connect in places that the S3 had full bars. Day 2 wife gets upset and finds different GPS software to use, but still cant get the GPS to work. Day 3 I use my GPS and run into the same issue, it brings up a route but wont engage, if it does work then an incoming call freezes the GPS. Day 4 Took my phone back to Best Buy and the rep gives me to a Samsung rep that was more interested in playing with his "foo man chew" scruf and mumbled as he talked to me. They identified their was a problem with the device and after many attempts of decifering the mumble sent me to a website for kies software, so even after I had only had my device a couple days I was sent away to deal with the busted device myself. I bought the protection plan so I guess that doesnt cover the phone if the software of hardware is busted before I purchase it. I upgraded from a gen 1 smartphone for my home security software to work. This has been the worst phone upgrade Ive ever made, worst phone Ive ever owned. If a company rep is going to be your face have them shave and be well spoken at a minimum.

I consistently have no coverage bars and drop calls frequently. Since I have 15 days to return it, it will be going back today (since today is day 15). I did not have any problems with my iPhone having coverage bars or dropping calls. I have the same carrier (Sprint) so I am not sure why my coverage would decrease and dropping calls would increase. I have also noticed my phone likes to freeze often. I am not impressed so far. Hopefully it will be made right when I return it and ask for a replacement.

ive had this phone for 2 months and my camera lense cover has already cracked this phone is just a hasstle and samsung wont do nothing to replace it you will just be in a tight situation and now im locked in for 2 years with a phone that i cant get replaced cause it voids the warrenty

#DoNotBuy #Samsung #GalaxyS4 . The LCD is too fragile. My phone was broken from inside, no scratch outside. They are saying that it was my fault, and I have to pay for it. Remember, it's not against carrier. It's about Samsung Galaxy S4
