I brought this for my brother's b-day in April. He is on my Verizonwireless family plan. We both had very old Motorola Droid X phones for probably close to 4-5 years. I was about to get new phones for us both until Verizon went and changed the data plan options and if I upgraded I would be losing my unlimited data plan. I hesitated for quite a while because of this but realized that together we barely used 2 gigs a month so then finally decided to bite the bullet. I'd been eyeing the 4 since it came out and my brother had been lusting after it since then too. However, when the s5 came on the scene and I thought I might as well get my brother the latest and greatest. He absolutely loves it and was completely surprised. It could be argued that after half a decade of the Droid X anything would be considered a huge improvement, but still he loves the speed and the size and all the wonderful features. The camera seems to be a particular fave.

I got this phone for my boyfriend he love it coming from a Samsung s 3 the picture are so clear and the battery last a long time on it before u have to charge up

We finally made the jump to smart phones for the family and this was a great choice. It's easy to learn and operate and the battery life is very good, only needing a charge every 2 - 3 days with normal use. Slim design and easy controls and a very good camera.

I just love this phone! It takes awesome pics and videos. Great battery life!

So far I am very impressed and happy with my S5 purchase. It was a couple years since I purchased the S3. This phone is leaps and bounds better than the S3. Surprisingly, the phone is Lighter than the S3 version even though it is bigger. The screen clarity and picture quality are just amazing at how clear they are! The phone is fast and moves through apps seamlessly. I like the smart remote feature as I can use the phone as a remote for my Samsung smart tv and it even controls my Direct TV box. The Share feature is also great to share what's on your phone and display onto your TV. (Samsung TV required I believe.) I went with the Exclusive BLUE model as well. Thus far my only complaint would be the sound or call quality was a little fuzzy on a few phone calls but that could be network or the other parties issue as well. But overall VERY HAPPY with this purchase.

I like everything about the phone. It takes great pictures and videos, and I like the fact that you can save pictures from a received message. I'm still learning more about the features everyday as I am a newbie to smartphones. One thing I have learned is that I had to increase my data usage amount already!

The features in this Phone are easy to use and camera takes great pictures

Great, easy to operate phone. Love the larger screen for easy viewing/typing; not too large to fit comfortably in my small hand. Have owned it for almost a year now, and it still works great. Recommend a protective case for times when it may be accidentally dropped. Mine has been dropped several times and still looks new and works great. I am upgrading my phone from a Droid Razr M. What a huge difference. The stock interface seems good so far with minimal bloatware from Samsung. The phone is snappy without lag and has performed excellent so far. I love the camera. Far superior to the Razr. My only gripe is that the phone is pretty big and that is only because I have smaller hands. It is more difficult to use it one-handed but that only a minor drawback. The size of the phone is also a little bit to fit in the front pocket but there again, you should know the size of the phone you are buying. These aren't "problems", just watch-outs as you are making your decision. Very happy with the S5.

This phone is pretty fast, and it's easy to perform lots of different functions quickly. Battery life is better than any other phone I've had since a flip phone, but I can't get two full days with heavy use. This device is thin and light and I don't notice it in my pocket most of the time. I tried using a protective case on this phone but it was just too big and bulky as a result. I like how fast it charges, about an hour for a full charge, even on my car charger. The screen is awesome, big, bright, crisp - easy to read and view images. I've taken some nice photos with the camera, but it's noticeably grainy in low light or average light scenarios. The best photos are taken in daylight or bright rooms. I've had a lot of people tell me that my voice is hard to understand when I'm talking on this phone, I've never had anybody tell me that with any other phones I've had, so I'm not sure what to make of that - it seems like I need to talk really loud for people to hear me clearly with this thing, which can kind of suck sometimes. The batter cover is somewhat awkward if you have short fingernails like me. When I had a case on the phone it was nearly impossible to get the battery cover open with short fingernails. I don't mind the battery cover though as it probably helps with the water proof feature of the phone. For me, I needed a smartphone that doesn't get in the way or slow up my workflow as I'm constantly monitoring email and keeping up on communications for work and business, moving files around and logging data, and this device makes it easy to do what I need to do and get it back in my pocket and move on with my day. I'm sure any of the newer phones would have done that just fine. I just happened to go with this one. One thing that annoyed me, that I haven't heard of happening to anybody else, is that when I first got the phone out of the box and was doing setup it couldn't connect to wifi for a few hours (never did figure out why), and I got a couple overage charges while the device downloaded all my apps automatically through 4g and syncing up data, which was disappointing. The next day wifi worked fine and has ever since. The conspiracy theorist in me is suspicious.

I love this product. After all the phones I've had the Galaxy s5 is easiest to get acquainted with. Set up was smooth and the operated system works great. I'm a little high tech handicapped and I'm not a big gamer except to play poker so it meets my need. I also use Google play music and it is a breeze to use and sync with my car radio. I like my new s5.

Upgraded this from the S4... great phone.. fast.. love the camera.
