I just happened to need a replacement phone on the same day BestBuy had their $1 (PLUS $60 Calif. tax) deal. This phone is MUCH better than my RAZR and so long as they let me keep the installed OS, I'll be happy. My RAZR was a great phone with Gingerbread but failed miserably with JellyBean installed. This Galaxy G5 goes for two full days before needing a recharge. The super battery saver feature lets me extend that to 4 days minimum before recharging. Excellent phone except for the Calif. tax thing.

Bought this cause it was on promotion for $1 on 2 year contract. My daughter has been rough on phones. (she has gone through 4 in last 2 years). Even though the 6 was released the 5 is still a solid device especially for the promotional deal. I usually make the kids upgrade to whatever is free. So far it has survived a class trip to Disney and Drum camp, and normal day today. Water Resistance was a big plus for daughter as one of her phone met its demise in the toilet. A little big for her back pocket, but I think maybe it helps her keep track of it and not sit on it.

Spiffy, keeno, neato, jet! This Galaxy S5 is soooo intuitive. I'm a 60 something tech challenged individual who appreciates a good owners manual. I have yet to open the owners manual for this smart phone. The menus that accompany most things you want to do are so easy and complete. The camera is totally sick! At 16mp, and a faster focus than my $1000+ Canon digital slr, I no longer carry a separate camera in my truck. Super panoramic stitch; smooth HD video. This Galaxy S5 has a super screen that's actually large enough to follow the football! The built in heart rate monitor works really well. Combine that with a blood pressure app that almost always registers within 5% of my wrist cuff sphgymomanometer. I now monitor vitals at work. The Galaxy S5 is just doggone fun to play with. Thanks again, Samsung and Best Buy. They're quickly becoming my favorite go to pair. I'm lov'n it!

After visiting a Verizon Corporate store my son and I were frustrated at the choices and the prices. He wanted the black Samsung S5 and it being an upgrade it should have been a quick and easy fix. The pricing was high and customer service lacked considerably. We left and went to Best Buy, our Sales Associate was well informed and so helpful. He made our purchase pleasant, any other upgrades or purchases will be conducted at Best Buy.

It's an android so there's that. There's been a drastic improvement over the years from Samsung. I swore I'd never get another after my previous experience; this one however, has made me reconsider. I do like the phone. One thing that made me decide to get it was that my mom has one and she adapted well to it (she's 60), and my son plays with it as easily too. It's intuitive

I've had my phone for a couple months now and I love it. It's a little different from my last Samsung phone so there is an adjustment period. So far so good. No problems with the phone itself.

This phone was priced the same as the Galaxy S4, and that's why I bought it. It is my first smartphone and I have a steep learning curve. The S4 would have been easier to learn how to use. I have shown my phone to seasoned S4 users, and some of the functions stump them. It performs well, however I almost wish I'd bought the S4 instead. But we'll see. I haven't had it that long.

Not too big but the screen is a great size! Easy to use. Can't go wrong.

Traded in my original galaxy s for the new S5. The new features are absolutely unbeatable and apple products are way over priced. Not to mention the battery life of the S5 way out does my brothers I phone... we are talking several days difference.

This phone offers great performance, long battery life and beautiful display. The battery holds its charge over a complete and busy day for me. It was an easy conversion over my previous S3. Have and will recommend this product to my friends.

My daughter chose this phone and she loves it. It takes great pictures, it doesn't lose service, and as an art major it does fantastic color schemes on photos and picture alterations.

I'm not an expert in smartphones, all I can say is the Galaxy S5 is one of the greatest I have owned, works even better than my wife's Iphone 6.

This is my second Galaxy phone. I had a Samsung Galaxy 3, and upgraded to the 5. Its been great. Its faster and the battery life is awesome. I added more memory for more storage and it has no issues downloading or searching in the internet.

I love the phone's clear sharp screen and features. At first, I wasn't sure if the larger sized phone would be too big, but I have enjoyed the larger screen when surfing the internet or looking at pictures. And the size when clipped in the holster, really hasn't bothered me. The phone is really responsive when connecting to the internet, as I do a lot of price comparisons and research when out shopping or at school. The only con that I've experienced is in taking a picture. The slowness between the time I take a snapshot to the time it actually takes the shot is frustrating. I know it's not a camera, but it takes way too long to capture a picture and half the time, I miss the shot.

I bought this phone for my daughter -in-law as a surprise gift. Couldn't have gotten anything she would've liked better. Great capabilities. Greater camera! Takes awesome pictures.

The color is great and certainly unique. Overall the phone leaves nothing to complain about, it's easy to use and is fast at responding. The battery life also better than expected.

I have had the phone for 6 weeks now and love it. It is easy to use and has a great screen. The people at Best Buy were great in helping me choose the phone and get it set up.

Samsung sure does know how to make their phones!! I will always recommend Samsung phones to anyone. They are great quality and never disappoint! I am still learning how to use my phone but so far it has exceeded beyond expectations.
