The phone is to wide and my thumb does not reach over to the left side of screen while holding with one hand. Phone also is not as user friendly as my old iPhone. Don't know if it is my internet or the phone but it is quite slow at times.

Hate to say this but my zte I had from straight talked worked faster than this phone.pictures better.battery life is terrible on this phone..this is a little bigger than the zte phone that's a plus . basically this phone is almost the same as the zte.my problem now is I'm locked into 2 yr contract.well can't wait for the bigger I phone to come out that will be my next cell.to bad I'm locked in for 2 years.maybe some company will help me out to get out of contract when new I phone comes out.for now I'll have to stick with this phone.

Switched from Sprint to Verizon, because I kept having missed calls. I'm still having the same problem on the Verizon network, so it makes me think it's a phone issue and not a network issue. Other than that the phone is great.

It took a while to figure out all the features of the phone. There is no manual. Everything is on line. Unless you know the technical term for what you're trying to do, it's going to take some time to figure everything out.

When I purchased this phone, I also changed cell phone carriers. The carrier had been rated "best" for customer service and quality. I use the phone generally for phone calls and texting. My older phone (>4 years old) had better sound quality on boths sides. Now, I've been advised I sound "tinny" or echoey and I have frequent sound breaks-ups on my end. When my prior contact data was copied over, it broke it up into up to four different contacts. Texting is okay; I do have a better feels for the letter keys on this phone than prior phone so a few less "typos". Graphics are pretty cool on apps like GoogleSkyMap.

Wifi come in and out even when I am home. Can't make a call..mobile network unavailable, texting is very slow, unlocking my phone takes forever. Frankly I was hap pou y to leave Apple but now I regret it.

I am a lifetime BlackBerry user and I wanted to hop over to androids for a couple years now. This phone is great except for being able to set up scheduled conference calls in the calendar icon like you can with BB which is designed for business users more so than the androids, this phone is fine. I am lowering the rating because of the cell carrier (Verizon) because the pricing for data is ridiculously high which is why I'll be going back to my previous carrier. Sprint or T-Mobile would be the better carriers for smartphones which obviously require a data plan to maximize use.

I wasVERY upset after purchasing my phone for full price and the next week it went on sale. I was denied a refund. The salesman was very knowledgeable , nice, and helpful. I'm very happy with my phone

The phone is great for email, Internet searches and games. The phone has poor speakers and poor microphone. Phone works well if you have a separate Bluetooth headset.

Best Buy is the worst. Don't go to the one in El Cajon. Staff is rude, and have an elitist attitude. I will never shop there or any Best Buy because of my experience

It's a phone all right! Great camera with horrible speakers. Decent call quality but forget about speakerphone unless you're locked in a library after hours....

I switched from a Iphone to the Galaxy S5. I had the Iphone for 4 years, never had any issues. The speaker stop working on the Galaxy after 3 weeks. Bset buy would not do anything, because they have a 14 day return policy and I did not purchase geek squad protection. I had the Mobile phone protection through Verizon, so didn't need to spend another $10 with Best Buy. I will NEVER purchase another electronic device from Best Buy, worst ever customer service!!!!

Phone went bad at 17 days. 3 days after I could get a new one. Best Buy Warranty wouldn't cover it and had to send to Samsung to be repaired.

my old iphone 4s had no problems streaming a show in my hosue while connected to wifi. this galaxy s5 is horrible in my house. really sucks....

I just needed a phone for general purposes.The rep downloaded a bunch of apps that I wont ever use and it has just cluttered my phone.

I love the galaxy series but this one didn't have the specific features i was looking for. Returned it and fit the note 4

I loved the phone but the service sucked. I had never had that problem with my iPhone so I switched back to iphone

just alright, I am not impressed with it. I thought it would be much better than the Motorola Droid, but it isn't.

I've been hearing some critics saying this phone has less than stellar design, but they really are missing the real point about how practical and feature-ridden this phone really is!!! I mean, who cares if it doesn't have a metal finish and aluminum casing? I'm sure Samsung has given it thorough tests to make it to be able to withstand the real world abuse and elements to choose plastic over metal. Isn't it a common sense that plastic is more impact-absorbing than metal? What good would nice, metallic looks be when a phone couldn't withstand a drop of only a few feet, anyway? What's more, this phone has a sensational camera and Super AMOLED display, which are just a cut above the rest. And how about a removable battery and MicroSD slot that can expand storage to 128GB? I don't think many high-end phones including iPhone can claim to have those features. Yes, there may be other phones that are pretty close to it and even exceeds it in a few areas, but this phone might just be the very best out there right now in terms of value, performance and features.

Where do I begin? The misinformation about the insurance from Verizon vs. Best Buy Geek Squad so that you purchase Geek Squad. Or the promo for a trade in where they don't offer the amount for a trade in that is shown on the Best Buy website. Or maybe the other promo for $50 where you register your phone and they can't find it in the system. I'd rather order my phone online!
