I absolutely love this phone. My husband and I both bought this phone after trying to decide for weeks between an LG, Motorola, and iPhone. We decided to stick with Android after polling our friends with iPhones and deciding against it. The Samsung representative inside our local BestBuy was VERY helpful and knowledgeable - and patient. He showed us many upgraded features and helped us to set our phones up before we left the store. We have had our phones for 6 weeks now and wouldn't be happier.

I bought this phone to add to an additional line. Overall it is a great phone. Despite a few bugs here and there it runs smoothly and does as expected. However, as with every other phone, it was to my disappointment the screen mirror feature only works for other Samsung devices...very restrictive imho. It can share with the PC using SideSync 3.0 so that's a sunny side to those that wish to record without having to jailbreaking as you do with other devices if you want to screenshare. The otherfeature I findustry handy is the.multi-window option. A good way to read email while watching the latest YouTube channel. Tap and Pay is also a nice feature that makes it easy to pay and done have to worry about digging through a thousand crefit cards. My only true complaint is the battery. It does not last as long as my old smartphone and so it's a little annoying

This phone is sleek, crisp and clear, easy to get around, easy to customize, pretty yet manly, a great purchase!!!

I absolutely Love this phone. This phone replaced my Droid 4, and I was hesitant to switch due to not having an actual keyboard like my old phone. But I have gotten used to it fairly easily. I think it has to do with the size of the screen, and ease of use. The Camera far exceeds my expectations. I am pleased with how much faster this phone is, and the ease of using the apps. Only having an issue with 1 app not working on Kit Kat, but that is the apps problem (no update since 2012). The battery is far more superior than any phone out there. I charged it at night, used it ALL day, and still had battery life left when I went to bed.. I HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone looking for a new phone.

I have had my Galaxy S5 since the first day Verizon brought them out. I wanted an Android smart phone that was water resistant, dust resistant, had a really good display, a replaceable battery and a microSD slot. It was the first phone I found that promised all of that and it has delivered. I get about two days on one charge, facebooking and doing normal stuff. Low power mode goes forever. I like that - I still have a day left on it when I hit bottom on normal mode. The camera is really good. You can record in 1080p true high res broadcast mode.

I purchase this phone for my Brother. He loves it, can't put it down. Great deal, great phone.

Finally got my husband to move into the smart phone world. He came along begrudgingly and now I can't pry the Samsung Galaxy S5 out of his hands! He finds it very easy to use and enjoys all of the features.

I loved this phone for the first 6 months but then after a while the battery barely lasts through a whole day even with power saving, the back cover cracked in many places, the charging port is chipping off from opening it. Also the plastic "chrome" bezel, is flaking off just from putting it in and taking it out of my pocket.

I bought this phone as a second phone for personal use (I have an another popular brand of smartphones for work); and this one blew my mind off. I have been using smartphones for the last few years, and have never tried out a Galaxy phone before, but this one felt like an amazing device, that can outshine all other phones. Especially the camera is outstanding. I took a video outdoors in 1080p resolution and played it on my TV, and I was stunned by the picture quality !

I just upgraded from the s3 to the s5 and love it! There are new features that I still have to get used to, but I love the bigger, brighter screen.

Recently upgraded my 4 year old phone to the Galaxy S5. Was worried about the size, since it is quite a bit bigger than my old phone, although thinner and lighter. I quickly got used to it and appreciate how the increased screen size makes it much easier to read things! It is very fast and fluid. I like the built in activity monitor features and now have it count my steps every day!

This phone is absolutely one of the best phones that fits my lifestyle, its flexible to what I use most without slowing down. I have blue tooth service that superseeds my expectations of the previous gallaxy. The fit widget is used dailey and accurately (soon going to be purchasing the gear to accomadate as well. Being able to take my heartbeat and count my steps in an accurate manner is phenominal. Upon showing the phone to my household of apple users, we have all switched over to samsung!

I went and had this phone for 4 months though it was the greatest thing in the world. It's great with the remote, the camera, memory, battery and many other things. But even with having protective cases on the phone it some how broke it my front pocket at work. My work doesn't consist of situations that would be harmful to myself or anything in my pockets. It would have been as simple has walking up to a table and the screen must have hit and cracked the whole way across making this phone useless. I have had an ipod touch go through 5 years of the same usage and it doesn't even have a scratch

This is the first time ever getting a top of the line phone. Impressed by the ease of use and longer battery life. I do not have to charge this phone every 3 hours .Apps respond very quickly. I am very satisfied with this phone

This is my first smart phone ever. I was actually planning to buy an HTC phone after doing some research but was steered into purchasing Samsung Galaxy S5 by a sales rep. Although this phone comes with a lot of unique features and apps, the battery life is extremely poor. I barely even use it throughout the day yet I'm lucky if it goes all day without being charged. One of the main selling points with HTC for me was battery life. I should have stuck with my gut and went with HTC. I'm very disappointed.

The first S5 I received worked great the first day, but began to scratch calls on day 3 (people on the other end would comment that I cut out and they heard popping and silence for a few seconds intermittently). Did soft and hard resets and new SIM card to no avail. This got worse, and ended up being difficult to hear from either end. When I called Best Buy, they told me I could return it within 14 days of receiving the device. Went to return on day 11 or 12, and guess what - STORE REP TELLS ME I AM OUTSIDE OF THE 14 DAY LIMIT! He explained that this starts on the day you order, regardless of when you recieved the phone. I was blatantly told otherwise hours before on the phone, by a rep who told me I could take it to the store and return there. At any rate, he told me he could exchange because it was the 15th day from ordering. I got the second phone, and for a day and a half it did okay. Then, it started dropping 4g. It will only pick up 1x, and rarely 3g in areas where my tablet and computer and every other phone have 4g. This is a common problem across carriers and zip codes with the s5. Google search s5 no 4g, and you will see. These phones have problems!!!!!! I'm on Verizon and they don't have an answer. Toggling airplane mode, new sim, all failed. Sometimes a hard reset will bring back 4g but only for a while, so this has to be done often.

Samsung is known to have good phones. I happened to have purchased from Best Buy one that has a bad ear speaker on incoming calls and voice mail. I purchased the phone 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been in a number of times talking with Samsung rep. Today when we finally determined the problem Best Buy wouldn't exchange it out because it was longer than two weeks even though I had been in there several times over that period of time. "A policy is a policy, not much I can do" is what I kept getting told. To top it off I purchased their own "insurance protection plan"...well it sucks also. They take your phone and tell you it will be 10 to 12 days and they will have a new sent to you. Why even have this insurance? I am working with carrier to get it replaced. They are MUCH more helpful than Best Buy.

Absolute best phone on the market. The people who are all saying it's bad just don't understand how to fully use the phone. My battery lasts me from 7th to 10pm with no issues and Super ultra saving power mode it'll last me for days! If you understand technology you will love this phone!
