Still works well 18 months after purchase and several Verizon OTA updates later.

The battery life is much better than my previous smartphone, can usually get 2 days although I work as an engineer CSX, and my phone is off while I'm running trains. The voice quality is deplorable though, im not sure if it is due to mike placement or just the sampling rate they use. Photos are decent, I'm a SLR person so the lack of an optical zoom cripples it for me. Great for just recording things for shopping at the store, ie type of paint, filter needed, etc... Although the screen felt huge at first, it has shrunk in terms of my seeing it as large, if that makes sense. I am not a fan of the small screen to fill things out online, watch movies, or get detailed reading information. I'll stick to my laptops, or iPad air for that. The new note4 seems like it would be better or perhaps the iPhone 6+. It has such a thin brick type format not good for long term conversations in your hand, not so much the weight as the shape digs into you hand, even with a soft case. They definitely need to rethink the format to make it more ergonomic. All in all a good phone in a commodity market filled with good phones and getting better all the time!

This phone was purchased for me for my birthday. I loved the color of this S5. A week after I received this phone the S6 came out but I didn't get it because it didon't have expandable storage.

My siblings and I purchased this phone for our father for Father's Day. It is a great phone and great to see my Dad finally using a smartphone.

Before I got this phone. I had an iPhone 4, and I will not be going back to Apple.

I love my phone. I love Samsungs line of galaxys been through them all. Great phones. There's always room for improvement. And best buy was awesome. They're service was great we were impressed.

Love this phone. So easy to use and has great reception out of the metro area. Able to receive calls and texts in our metal shop. Have had it for a few months and still learn all it can do.

I have not found anything negative about this phone. I like the quality of everything. The camera and video are perfect for me.

So excited to get this phone. I upgraded from the HTC Resound and the Samsung is amazing. Capable of doing so many things and still user friendly.

I was up in the air on this phone at first. After finally owning it and getting it set up for me I would not go to another phone.

Purchased phone end of Jan inc "Geek Squad" ins. Charge port cover broke off (as tons of others have) in 3 mo. Best Buy doesn't want to know anything & referred me to Samsung. Won't admit its a junk feature. Must go w/o a phone for ..10 days as u have to send it back!!! R U kidding? Last time 4 Best Buy going with straight talk as soon as I can SERVICE STINKS ON A MINIMAL PROBLEM

This phone was great for about a year then it started freezing constantly. I was having to reboot the phone 3-4 times a day from it freezing. I would send a text and the keyboard would get stuck up and blocked half of the any screen I brought up, including the main page. I finally paid to get out of the contract because I had to get a new phone
