I was hopeful, really hopeful, when I replaced my old Droid that had run its course. At first, and even though it was a bit bulky, I thought that the image quality would justify the size. Then I began to use it, like for its intended purpose as a phone. What a disappointment. The audio quality is almost bad; fuzzy and lacks volume. The speaker phone capability is almost useless. I should have brought it back....

This is my first smart phone and with help from my son, I have been able to use it. There are still lots of questions, but I can either ask my son or call or go to Verizon from answers. Very satisified with phone.

We thoroughly enjoy this new phone. It has a clear picture and good functionality. Also, the size is just right for both texting and checking emails. I will not go back to I-Phone, this phone is just too good!

This is the 3rd Samsung Galaxy I have owned and it is the best. I've never had any problems or complaints with any of my Samsung products, but I love the camera on this one. Still learning all the cool things this phone can do. Our whole family has switched to the Galaxy.

Upgraded from the S4..this phone is not too different. I like the design along with the slightly bigger screen. It is faster and I enjoy the fingerprint scanner as well.

I switched from an iPhone 4S and I couldn't be happier! I like that it has a better camera and also has the ability to add a micro SD card. I also like that the screen is bigger and brighter. I had no idea what I was missing out on. I totally recommend this phone :)

I have had a cell phone for a long time, but this is the best one yet! It has a long battery life and is very easy to use.

got the phone ten days later it went on sale for a hundred less five mintues in line at customer service i was a hundred dollars richer. oh yea the phone is the nuts too

i've only owned 1 phone the past 10 years that wasn't a samsung, and the s5 is by far the better than the iphone i owned before. the picture quality of far superior, and the overall quality is much better. i drop this daily, and it holds up better than my iphone did.

This is my first "smartphone". It is a great all around phone. Sometimes the phone speaker itself may be hard to hear but 90% of my use is texting. Also, I don't like that you can't see it in the sun but I am not sure that there is one that you can see in the sun.

I like the freedom from the iPhone craze. I like the new apps. I like the Google apps & the use of Chrome right on my phone. I can do more work from my phone with Chrome & Google availability. I highly recommend switching from the iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy 5s.

I busted the screen on my old phone and didn't like the fact that I couldn't take out the battery and replace it when it started not holding a charge as well. My wife had gotten this same phone 1st and absolutely lived it. I played around with it too and loved it.

I think this is a great phone. The battery life is much improved over my old Galaxy S4. I did have some issues with Lollipop the first time I upgraded, but went back to Kit-Kat, cleared the phone, then installed Lollipop again and everything's been fantastic.

I bought the Samsung S5 at Best Buy so I could get the blue one. It is the first Android phone I have owned. It is a great phone so far and I have a lot to learn about it. Best Buy and Samsung have been a big help in understanding all this phone has to offer.

This was my first time buying a phone from anyplace other than Verizon. Best Buy is definitely the way to go. It was a very smooth process and the associate was very helpful. And I even got a Best Buy gift card! Great phone and some extra money to spend too!

I like the phone overall. The one drawback in my opinion is the shutter delay on the camera. I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 and the shutter delay was unnoticeable.

This is my second smart phone and I really like it. Easy to navigate and find my apps quickly. The pictures a very clear and the videos have amazing clarity.
