I upgraded from an SIII and the S5 is miles better in both design and functionality. The body is nice and slim, the color and texture of the back is beautiful and I don't have to worry about it slipping from my hand without a case anymore. The battery lasts almost two full days with moderate use. I will say it comes with a lot of bloat apps and the settings options are far less intuitive than the SIII, but Google helps out with most issues/questions folks might have.

This phone is really fast and easy to use. Very smooth transition from previous Samsung devices to this one.

I Love this phone. I'm so clumsy and I drop my phones all the time. When you drop this one, you pick up the battery and pop the back, back on and you're good to go! It's water proof to. You can still text and operate with wet fingers. It's really easy to use too. The external memory is great also, I have so many photos and tons of music. The only thing keeping this phone from five stars is the battery life can't keep up with the usage. The great thing is you can change the battery, but I don't like having to tote around an extra battery and remember to always keep one charged. Charge it in the car.

I like the phone a lot. I use it mainly as a PDA, GPS navigator, and a way for people to contact me; it is not my life. The camera is a great substitute for my DSLR in a pinch; the quality of the pictures is very good and the color range is excellent. I have an AT&T version so I am stuck with the bloatware that is foisted on me, although I have disabled as many as I can. I do not use the near field features and only use the Bluetooth for my automobile OBD2 dongle which is great. The phone itself is limited by the android operating system; this phone has the 4.4 Kitkat which I am not real fond of as I really liked 4.3 better as it seemed to be more customizable to the features I liked. I like the bigger screen (I am getting older and my eyes are getting weaker) in a case size that is easy to use with one hand. I also like the fact that Samsung has continued to provide easy access to the SIM card and battery. I also like the SD memory card feature which is the main reason I switched to a Galaxy from an iPhone. I really dislike the flimsy plastic back that Samsung has utilized since I got my first S2 Skyrocket, but I can say that I have not had it break. I do not like phone cases as a general rule, but I got a Spigen Tough Case for this one that I like and appears to not impede any screen functions while providing some extra protection. My S2 kept getting slower as I upgraded the android firmware so I do not plan on doing any upgrades on this phone. Overall this is a great phone that I have no complaints with.

The phone arrived on time. I found it lightweight and easy to use. The battery saver provided you with a very good amount of battery time.I was very happy to see that.

Fast, long lasting battery and takes great pictures. Similar to the S4 but everything has been upgraded. Very smooth OS

I like everything about the phone. It is easy to use, takes great photos!!!I can not find any thing wrong with the phone. It does so many things. I can't say enough good about it.It does everything that I want it to do and more! I love the large size screen for viewingof photos,books,movies.

I love the pictures it takes. Battery life is good so far, and I've had this phone for 1 month.

I really like this phone. The camera is great. The only problem I have is that when you put a cover on it, it is hard to access the very top of the screen for the pull down menu and the bottom of the screen for the function buttons. My husband has the same phone with a different cover and he has the same problem. I used to have a Galaxy 3 so going to a 5 was not a big adjustment, but the phone itself is much larger and takes up more room in my pocket, expecially once you put a cover on it. Other than that, I am getting used to the phone and I really do like it.

I bought two, easy to operate, great clarity, excellent pictures. Best phones we ever owned.

I have found the Galaxy S5 to be everything it advertised itself as. Great screen, quick processor, and ultimate flexibility with the Android OS.

Samsung has lived up to their previous standards (S2, S3, and S4 owner). This phone has a great camera and loads apps very quickly. Very happy with the purchase and glad to not pay the cost of the S6 model! The only drawback is the camera speed in some settings. Does not always happen, but occasionally delays between shots.

I have had excellent luck with this device! Takes excellent pictures and is super fast! The ultra power saving mode is great! There's also an app that counts your steps and tracks your sleeping habbits. It also has a heart rate monitor that also tells you your o2 levels.
