Nice overall phone. Lots of new features compared to my previous S3. I like the size also.

Has a good camera and great sound quality. Easy navigation and good apps.

My favorite thing is taking photos and this phone takes great pics.

My long search for the device that not only does it all that I could ever want and need has finally happened! The style, the built, the awesome screen, and all the features Samsung and Androids have really makes this device rock, and rock solid! I feel total comfort now knowing I have a device that not only looks and feels good but knowing it is built rock solid and performs rock solid as well! I love the camo green, reminds me of retro 1960's army camo style! I have to highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Camo Green!

very tough phone. has been dropped in the water during a kayak trip. i did the complete freek out...turned it off... waited.. worked great. love the phone. the speaker is a bit off, but over all i love the phone

I thought by now samsung would finally get it right, but that is clearly not the case with this phone. I switched from the iphone to the S3, S4, and once again the S5. Each and every time I went back to the Iphone due to the same issues. Besides the horrible design (might as well be holding the s4 or s3 in your hand still) the software on this phone just doesn't compare to the IOS operating system. Sure it takes great photos, the display is gorgeous, and the battery is pretty decent for the size of the phone. I was also happy to see they finally got the texting right on this one, but that's about all I can say about it. Returning this today and unfortunately going back to the Iphone for the 3rd time. Guess I just have to wait for the Iphone's display to increase so I can truly be happy. Great phone but still doesn't add up.

Absolutely the samsung phone is the best ones I've used so far. Compared to iphone, and lg that ive used, samsung is more versatile. The screen mirroring allows me to watch and play on a bigger screen size at the tv without hdmi.

I had a choice to make between S5 active or Note 4 (rugged bezel or metal-like bezel). Built-wise S5 active is durable, but Note 4 has the good look. So far S5 active shows it can withstand the most. I am satisfied with my choice.

Short of moving into "Phablet" sized devices this phone gives you the best bang for your buck, spec and display wise. Quad core with full HD display, WATERPROOF, Gorilla Glass 3, and just about every option you can imagine available for a phone! Yes touchwiz is a bit bloaty, but after a while you actually begin to appreciate many of its aspects. And yes, a metal body would be "cooler" with a "better feel to it," but considering the fruit company is having all those issues with their handsets bending, and the S5 can be dropped from the roof of a house, then run over by an SUV without bending, breaking or cracking the screen, do yourself a favor and pick up this badboy! Don't walk backwards to 2011 with an iPhone when you can move forwards into the future with Samsung!

Anything you need in a phone is in here. I've had it a year and a half and no problems what so ever. No case or screen protector needed.

I gave back a 32 gig windows phone and made this buy outright. I probably should have gone to the Note 3, had it before, I liked it very much, but so did someone else and they stole it! So I grab the 5, in white, all they had. I looked at the HTC 1, out of stock. This trend of phones outdoing one another is making it to the consumer and is getting very costly. For me. Wish I would have never picked one up. Get the S5, it's a good as others, or better. A stylus might help. You're going to hate it eventually, may as we'll get started on that before the Fall releases of hardware.

Traded in my IPHONE 4 last week for the S5. Huge difference in every aspect. Camera is better. Call quality is better. Texting is easier. Easy to set up what features you want to use. I've heard people complain that the S5 isn't water resistant like they claim but I guess like most other electronics keep it out of the water and you'll be fine

The best thing about Samsung phones is they have there navigation buttons on the bezel rather than the screen which makes for far more usable screen space. It essentially increases the size of the screen by quite a bit compared to other phones where the navigation keys are on the screen itself. Kudos to Samsung for doing this with there phones and tablets. This is the major reason I would only buy a Samsung.
