phone turned off multiple times when taking out of pocket. Phone will also turn off and on when hit or bumped, example: if I drop phone on table 3 inches away it will turn off, it happens from time to time but not all the time. Did not have this problem with previous S3!

This operating system is absolutely terrible! Did a software update and it got worse. Freezes constantly, takes forever to send messages, get messages days later and can no longer go on Internet when on the phone. I want my galaxy 3 back.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy 5 for my boyfriend. He loves the phone and it work great but I never received my $50 gift card for buying the phone through them. I might as well have bought it through Sprint at this point. The staff told me I'd receive it in my e-mall by the next day and after several phone calls and weeks later I still never received it, I'll be going to Sprint from now on. Thanks for nothing.

Had to get another phone after only 4 days of having it. Stalls out cuts off by it self. Period point blank trash.

I love the phone but for some reason its signal isnt as good as the S4.

I ordered the blue Galaxy S5. It has a clear resolution screen. The camera takes good quality pictures. I like the sleekness of the phone and the size is just right to fit in your pocket. I also like that it is waterproof and reminds you to close your charging door. Overall the Galaxy S5 is a great phone and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality phone.

I hate it that my phone freeze up all the time and I have to update it every other day!

I like the phone but the speaker and volume is not as loud as the S3 phone.

I loved my S4 and had no intention of upgrading, but couldn't pass up the Thanksgiving deal Best Buy had on these. I'm glad I took the plunge! I was easily able to transfer all of my data by syncing with Google and moving my SD card over. Plenty of storage space and an available expansion slot, the camera takes great pictures, and it has a "simple" mode intended for people who are not too tech savvy. With heavy app use, I can go almost 2 days before charging the battery (some settings from factory may need to be changed in order to extend battery life). The new chargers allow for faster data transfer when the cord is plugged into a computer, and it seems to charge much faster than my S4 did. The screen is bright and clear, allowing me to read documents for school. I've had it just over a month now, and I'm still discovering different things I can do with it.

What can I say, I LOVE Samsung! I actually upgraded from the S4 after having that since the S4 had come out. I was thinking about waiting until the S6 came out but I was able to get the S5 for $1, if I renewed my current cell phone plan for another two years. I love everything about this phone and I also love that I was able to set up the kids profile with ease because I have a four year old who loves to play with my phone. I love being able to use the camera without unlocking it and the fingerprint unlock feature is awesome. Charging this phone is like a blessing from heaven. At any given time when my battery life is at 15%, I can charge my phone and within a half hours time, my battery is more then 75% full. There is nothing negative I could possibly say about this phone.

Purchased with a 2 yr sprint plan and was not happy with upgrade. phone was not able to multitask (talk on phone and use internet or access data. Other than that i was happy with my galaxy lll.

If switching from iPhone, don't. Samsung reps shouldn't be hanging out by phones urging you to switch and telling you that i6 is coming out in late October.

First off, way too complicated. Apps don't work on android as well as iPhone. Talking texts always write the wrong things so you have to put message in manually anyway. Then to top things off, back light on phone went out in just 28 days!! Then instead of giving me a new phone they made me wait 3 days and gave me a refurbished phone! I will never but this phone again or shop a best buy!!

Upgrading from a Galaxy S3 (Verizon).... Overall, pleased with the phone. The folks at BB were great. From an upgrade perspective I'd list the following pro's and con's. Pro's: -Camera (still and video) are really good. Low light could still be better. Can't find the old "scene" option to select low-light, so I assume it is auto-detecting. Will continue to look. -Speed. As with computers, the S3 began to get sluggish, and the S5 brings speed back to expectations. -Battery seems better, although a couple hours of candy crush, crushes it. In regular use, very good life. -The Display is great, clear and bright. Cons: -Fingerprint scanner is worthless!!! It reads my index finger correctly 1 out of 20 attempts. Alternate thumb read works 1 out of 10. Hopefully this functionality will be improved with updates. -The door covering the usb port for waterproofing is just an accident waiting to happen. Very delicate hinge, could easily be broken. Wished it had a door that opened inward. Did not get the service plan, probably wish I did after using the phone for a couple weeks. -Some basic widgets seem to be missing (small 2x2 clock no longer built-in). Overall, I am happy with the upgrade. Also considered the Note 4, but it was $299 compared to $1 for the S5 at time of purchase.
