The best phone in the world hands down!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is just the greatest phone ever made. I don't even know where to start so I'll just say it's GREAT. I love Android phones and this is the best one yet. Fast, great display, camera, everything. Android 4.1.2 update coming soon! Mobile phones do not get any better than this (until the Galaxy S4 come out).

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is better than the HTC one x because I had a one x it was good but I liked the galaxy s3 better because it has a better screen and you can put a bigger battery in the galaxy s3 and put a sd card in it

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so i wanted to wait till i really had much time with this phone and in the last few month i have really loved this phone. You can do everything on it much of what the iphone cant do. Now i do still have my iphone 4s and when i went to do something on it it felt and looked so different and it was so small lol but any way i would say get this phone over the iphone. It has 4g and att 4g is very fast ..

slippery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All in all a great phone. I'm a 4 generation iPhone user and in my opinion this is by far a better phone. Screen size is kinda obnoxious but awesome none the less. You won't be disappointed.

Another strike by Sammy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a few problems, which are a showstopper for me: 1. Bluetooth does not pair well with Car phone and media streaming. I tried it in MB E350 and ML350. 2. Bluetooth does not auto-pair with any Bluetooth enabled car. You have to always go to settings and connect it every time. When I checked system file: auto_paring.conf, it explicitly blocks auto paring to any car and you cannot edit it unless you root your device. 3. Sammy still using codec from old Android OS, such as 2.2, which does not support OGG Streaming. Standard ICS 4.0.3 do support OGG Streaming. Sammy does not use standard codec and use their own implementation, which is way outdated. 4. Screen brightness changes when opening browser and screen becomes darker, even when auto-brightness is turned off. 5. Screen is washed out in the light room on outside. Comparing to regular LCD - LCD performs better in the sun. Practically when in the car during the day, there is very poor visibility of the screen when mounted to a dashboard, for example for navigation. Once again, my Sony Mini Pro LCD did a much better job in the same lightning conditions. 6. When holding phone in the hand, WiFi is weaker and 15 feet from router WiFi signal is lost. 7. Auto brightness has a huge lag and does not react very well. Looks like it has just 2 levels in auto: dark and bright. 8. Body feels cheap. Components used are cheap, such as Digital to Analog converter, which makes music sound horrible. 9. Still lag in screen refreshes between activities. For example in the Android Play application, or Gmail. 10. Not worth of $200 upgrade. Galaxy S2 is much better phone compare to this one. Looks like Galaxy S2 is the only good phone Sammy did. 11. No reason for larger screen, because you still have to pan and zoom when browsing. So what is the point except now you only have to operate it with 2 hands. Phone is going back, and I will stick with my Sony Mini Pro or upgrade to Ion.

easy to use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I miss my evo 4g. I am honestly considering returning this phone and get the htc one x cause it's the closet thing to the evo. Overall, I guess the phone is great, but it's missing lots of small features that will probably ruin it for you. For example, with my evo I could still skip songs or pose the music player with the screen being locked. you cant do that with galaxy 3s. With the evo, I could see who sent me a txt before even unlocking my phone. You cant do that with galaxy 3s. and the face lock is just all hype. Its not that great. doesn't recognize your face 60% of the time.

great phone all around
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this phone is fast and easy to use. st battery life is substantially better than any of these phones have had in years can last the whole day on one charge if it isn't constantly in use.... even then only 2 charges before it was just better to keep a phone plugged in to retain the battery until you absolutely had to leave the house or work.

Great all around device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Device. I was on the fence between this and the iPhone 5. It has not let me down. There is just something a little more open about the display. Cannot complain. I do not think you would be unhappy with this purchase.

my 4th SGS3 and back to iphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had it with this phone, NO ONE WANTED A SGS3 more than I and after trying 4 of them I had to go back to the reliable and trustworthy counterpart IPHONE 5. DONT Hate! I Loved the SGS3 when it worked. BUT I shouldn't have to buy extra batteries, or decrease the autoscreen brightness to min. or unsync my email or turn off LTE and place my phone on airplane mode to save on battery life. My biggest problem was 4 hours into starting my day, which consisted of turn on the phone, checking facebook, and emails, the phone would turn itself off to save on battery, I am not a power user, but the phone should work for a least 8 hours and 12 if your not even using it. The first SGS3 I had kept draining power even if you just turned it on and did nothing else, the second phone the os kept turning green and I would have to take the battery out to restart it, the third one had pixels on the screen and the fourth was great and workded for a month and a 1/2 but then it started to drain the battery by just turning it on and the os started to freeze again, and NO I DIDn't hack it or put anyting other than amazon kindle books and my family pictures(which go to my sdcard). Again I loved this phone when it worked but how many do i have to go through to get one that works? here we are 3 months later and I am back to iphone 5 with the thanks of Best buy agents that let me get it despite my warrenty time. I would buy again from them but not a Samsung. Oh and lets talk about the picture and video quality, or the lack there of. blue or yellow were the tones on peoples faces i got to see, so not happy.

walk away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed with this phone. In my mind, it is no better than the junk blackberry has put out for years. I am shocked this is considered to be the iPhone's competition as it is in no way a note worthy threat. I switch from an iPhone 4 to a S3 because I was expecting Apple to have substantial changes to the iPhone 5. When that did not happen, I decided to give Samsung a chance for my business, considering they made several parts for Apple products in the past. It was less than a week before I had to do a soft reset on my phone to get it to work properly. This was frustrating, due to the fact, my iPhone did not freeze once in the three years I had it. My phone continues to freeze, giving me a black screen whenever, where ever, and in most instances, the most inconvenient time possible. Apple haters like to dog on the companies strict policy toward app developers. My response, what good does lenient policies towards developers do when they constantly freeze or fail to work at all? I would rather give my money to a company who expects developers to produce quality products. The response of the phone with all it's "handy features" lags at best, if you don't run in circles trying to do one simple task on a near daily basis. Bottom line, this phone is as cheap as the plastic body its composed of. The battery life is nothing short of atrocious. Calls, mediocre, features, spotty. Do yourself a huge favor when considering your new phone.....walk away from this plastic paperweight, spend money on an iPhone or DNA.

All around great phone...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is almost perfect...screen resolution is noticeable crispier than the gs2 as well as faster... the bigger screen is always a plus. The only thing I wish it came with is the quad core processor.
