Customers praise the Galaxy S10+ for its excellent camera quality, impressive battery life, and large, clear screen. Many also appreciate its ease of use and the ample storage it provides. While some find the price to be high, other criticisms are minor, focusing on the lack of a notification light and the phone's weight.

LG to New Samsung Galaxy S10+ (after 8 years)

The number one reason I purchased this phone was for the multiple cameras. There is a triple lens camera for normal, telephoto and ultra-wide photos; 12.3MP main camera takes excellent photos. triple-lens rear camera, comprising a 12MP regular lens, a 12MP optically zoomed telephoto lens, and new 16MP ultra-wide lens. Front-facing cameras are 10MP and 8MP. I purchased this phone a week ago and haven't taken photos yet, but am stoked with what this phone will provide for my photo gallery.
When I saw how much bigger this phone was than my 8 year-old LG, I was concerned about the ability to transport it when out and about doing shopping. It rests comfortably in a outer pocket of my purse and really cannot be seen by others. The phone is slender and big, but manageable. It has one of the largest screens for an S phone (6.4").
When I first charged it, it took about 4 hours for it to charge 100%. I am hoping that it will charge better than my LG, which took only a couple hours to go from 17% to 100%. Will find out more when I need to charge it again.
To be honest, I was almost terrified to get a new phone, I had become real comfortable with my old phone. When I activated the phone and started using the S10+ I was surprised at how easy it was to get to where I wanted to be. It is also helpful when you have a son who is very tech wise. He spent about 20 minutes going over some of the places I needed to go to and set some parameters with the settings. Overall, I became very relaxed in a short period of time.
After looking at the top line of Smartphones for several months, I was surprised to purchased this phone for a somewhat reasonable price. Using this phone for the next four or five years will easily pay for what was spent on it.
I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for a bigger screen phone or those who are photographers who want good quality pictures.

I've had a Samsung S3, S5, S7, S8, and now the S10+ and I'm glad I stuck with them. It has a large, beautiful display. The phone is lightning fast and it's has a lot of built-in memory. The camera takes awesome pictures even in low light conditions and the videos you shoot are sharp and crisp. The batter life hasn't disappointed either. No regrets on this purchase.

Got a tremendous deal from Best Buy to upgrade to this phone. Extra savings made the expense manageable, and the phone is definitely worth it. Phone is much faster, longer battery life, great color, pictures are wonderful. Transition made much easier with transfer of files done by Best Buy staff. 128GB memory is plenty for me, as I am not a gamer.

Galaxy S10+ upgrading from S7 edge. More storage, bigger screen, better pictures, blazing fast. Last generation of phone with earphone plug. Value can be had if you don't need the 5G speed and the new S20 upgraded camera. Samsung updates the phone for 4 years, if you aren't one wants the next big thing.

This phone is amazing. A beautiful screen, all day battery, amazing camera, fast processor for games and plenty of memory. My only con was the keyboard curves around the edge a bit and I have big hands so when trying to text with one hand, I kept hitting the p letter when trying to reach across. However I bought a case and it fixed the issues.

I upgraded from the Galaxy S6 to this Galaxy S10+ and am glad that I did! It is a pretty phone, has a nice big screen, is easy to use and suits me well. The Best Buy rep transferred files and set most of it up for me and when I got home, I looked the phone up on YouTube and found a few more settings and fun things to do. One of them is that I was able to put a video of my own as a background on the Lock Screen. Also, I was able to download special ringtones and notification tones, and moved all the pictures to a MicroSD so the phone's internal storage is free.
I love the little side screen slider that gives easy access to extra apps, shows the weather and even has a compass. It's enough like my old phone that there wasn't a big learning curve, and has enough new features that it's fun to explore. The battery life is good, too, and there's plenty of volume when you need it.

Had a galaxy S5 that was still working but it was time to replace.
Was waiting for the S10 only due to under screen finger scanner.
Have the phone for 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier. The setup was easy. Transfer of old phone content to new 1 was very easy with smart switch app. Read people complaining that finger scanner doesn't work well, but I haven't seen any issues at all. Scanned both my thumb and pointing finger and works great with both.
It's very fast and responsive and has a lots of memory.
Screen is very clear and live colors, camera is super fast.
Battery lasts all day easily.
Only 2 negative things are: it's kind of slippery, so need to make sure you hold it well and finger prints show on back, but still, beautiful phone and happy I got it. Recommended if you need to upgrade.
Got it with the $300 discount, so well worth the price.

I love this phone. In the past I was hesitant to get any + models because I thought they were too bulky. This one fits in my pocket with ease. While it is definitely faster than my S8 was, I don't think that it was too much of an upgrade. The screen has held up better by far. The ability to expand storage is definitely a step up over some of Samsung's older models. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

I went to the store to buy my wife a new phone, and after seeing how brilliant the screen was and the new camera options, I decided to upgrade my Note 8. Physically, it didn't seem like much of a difference, other than the extra cameras here and there. After using it for a little while, I can appreciate the subtle differences. As I mentioned, the display looks great. It's not like I was upgrading a 90's flip phone, so I didn't expect much the upgrade to be very big, but there it was a noticeably difference. Living in Hawaii, the opportunities to take a quick snapshot are limitless, but you don't always have (or need) your best Nikon on hand. The phone takes amazing photos, even in low light, and it fits in your back pocket. It's great for landscapes, selfies, sunsets, fireworks shows, and much more. I can't tell you the exact speeds/specs of the processor, but I will tell you that it hasn't let me down or left me hanging. I play games now and then, and they work flawlessly. Samsung + Verizon = WIN

I've been with the Samsung Galaxy phones for many years and they never dissapoint. I've owned a s5, s6 edge plus, s7, note 8 (which I still have) which BTW has been a stellar, powerhouse phone in its on right! I not long ago purchased an iPhone becuase the tech crazy curios side of me wanted to try ios 13 for a while and while it was OK I HAD to have a Samsung back. Which is why I purchased this s10 plus. Which is extremely fast, takes great pics, and does anything and everything I want and can think of for it to do! Definite 5 star rating!

I've never had a phone that ran this smoothly! No hiccups, lagging, the battery lasts all day (usually +50% left by day's end). This is also the first phone where I haven't immediately installed a replacement launcher - still running on the installed Samsung One UI Home. Bixby is managable to the point that you can disable the home panel and change the Bixby button to launch an app of your choosing (double-pressing the button brings Bixby instead of a single press). I bought the same phone for my wife and so far she has been pleasantly surprised by it (she's a bit of a skeptic).

I love all that the S10+ has to offer! It works fast & has a great display & the sound quality while listening to Pandora is great! The extra battery life has been a godsend!
NOTE: MY only draw back is that as arthritis is creeping in now in my early 60's I find it difficult to hold this phone for any length of time. The extra width and weight is actually a determent for me! (Challenging & Painful) Perhaps I may have somewhat smaller than average hands, but you may too. Not Samsung's fault, but something to consider.

Bought this Samsung Galaxy 10+ end of November to replace my Samsung Galaxy 8. It's a little bigger but not to big. Features work great! No problems with this phone. Have owned it now for a month now. A few new features like the camera has better pictures with there upgrade. It is easy to use. Tried my wife's Apple phone and to me this Samsung Galaxy is easier to navigate. Will continue to recommend these phones and buy them in the future. Got a good deal with $450 off making it more affordable.

The Samsung s10 plus is Samsungs best phone yet; I recently upgraded from the S9 plus and just holding them side by side you can feel the big difference in weight. Not only did Samsung cut the weight they added a bigger battery more storage and reduced the screen to body ratio. The double hole punch camera is great, unlike the notch it is largely unnoticeable while using the phone especially in landscape mode. It is in the top right corner and you dont glance there anyway while using this phone.

We actually bought two of these over a year ago, and haven't been disappointed. Large screen, beautiful images, great camera (3 lens choices). Probably don't use 10% of all the features available! A little pricey, but you do get what you pay for, I believe. Of course, this model is already leapfrogged by the S20s/5G, but I haven't found anything I can't do that I want to do with these phones. Probably cheaper now, if still available!

This phone is amazing. So many options and a long charging battery. Used to have to charge my old phone twice a day. it takes great pics and so many settings just like a camera. Love the contoured edge of the screen as well. I only wish it had the drive mode options my old phone had. It would ask me if I wanted to answer phone calls and listen to texts coming in and if I wanted to reply to them all hands free. My samsung can't do that. Still love the phone!!!!

I bought 2 S10+ phones to replace 2 S8+ phones. Physically about the same size but with larger screens. Comes with android 10. Phone has noticeably faster response than the S8+, and with a starting storage size of 128gb instead of 64. External buttons are a bit nicer. The 10's DO HAVE an earphone jack, unlike the S20's - the reason I bought them.
I had a problem setting up one of them. Turns out that Verizon had associated each phone with a specific line - but without any viable way to tell who got which. So I got them reversed, and the 2nd phone would not activate until, the next day, I got VZW tech support to clean up the mess. The other phone seemed fine - until I tried to charge it wirelessly. Charging rate (measured by Ampere) was all over the place. But even when Android said it would be charged in X minutes, and when the Ampere reported decent charge rates, the phone battery was actually discharging rapidly. VZW tech support did diagnostics remotely; we wiped the cache partition to no avail, then did a master data reset, again nothing changed. Phone has been returned and I await a replacement because the stores have NONE in stock. Web site the only way to go. Best Buy staff did their best to help me through this process.
Review wise, if not for the defective phone, I'd have given 4 or maybe 5 stars. Android is improved with 10, the phone is very responsive, lots of little improvements. And the fingerprint reader is on the front finally - that's a huge improvement. Note that in the upper right of the screen is a cutout for things like cameras, no center notch. Battery is bigger. Improved wifi. And as noted, it's a lot smoother and faster doing things.
A suggestion - if upgrading from Android, you may want to put a 64gb micro SD card into your old phone, and in the Account & Backup settings save everything (perhaps except for Settings) to the card. Then put it into the new phone. All sorts of things like game preferences get transferred, instead of using some tool like Content Transfer, just restore it on the new phone. Much faster AND, better yet, a lot more complete in terms of game scores and settings.
Another suggestion. The new phone comes with a new SIM card. Instead of transferring the old SIM card to the new phone, go with the new one already in the phone. Just move the SD card into the tray. The SETUP process will get enough info from you to realize what phone line goes with the new phone.
One warning - the screen on the S10+ is even more to the 'edge' than on the S8+. Put the phone into a case even during setup or you will constantly be going crazy with 'inputs' during typing id's and passwords, etc. that you will swear you didn't do. And unless you like silly features, turn off EVERYTHING EDGE that you can find.
If you charge wirelessly, you MIGHT need a newer, taller charging stand with a stronger AC adaptor than you might already have to maintain a decent charge rate. 3 amp output is a good idea.
I've not done much with the cameras yet so I won't comment on them. I did like the S8+ cameras - these will be even better!
These are very nice phones at a decent price - if you don't need to have the 20's, go with this, the S10+.
