    Good, Not Excellent

Overall a good phone. I had a S8 before and needed more memory. My S8 camera had better colors than this S10. This phone is a good size for me. I got an unlocked phone this time in case of future travel. But there are some drawbacks to that. I have an AT&T plan, but AT&T doesn't allow Wifi calling on unlocked phones. I need it because where I live the cellular signal is very weak. Also, some features of visual voice mail don't work because this is an unlocked phone. I'm not satisfied with the cameras on this phone because I take a lot of pictures. Wish I would have bought an S20 because of its better cameras. Also, I couldn't trade in my old S8 because the store was closed due to Covid-19 and I had to transfer data from my old phone to the new at home. Previous years I got good trade-ins on my phones. In addition, this phone is overpriced given the state of the economy. I had hoped for a much larger saving.

Unlocked is the official way to go!

I have a Verizon account that unfortunately Best Buy can't touch, however I used the trade in promotion to purchase an unlocked phone, to my surprise wifi calling and visual voicemail are supported for Verizon and this thing is a beast of a phone, the only thing I have not tested yet is Voice over LTE.

Does not have notification light - Don't buy!

I liked my old Samsung S6 phone, so I mistakenly expected the S10 to be an improvement. Not true. THIS PHONE DOES NOT HAVE THE LED NOTIFICATION LIGHT FOR NEW MESSAGES, VOICEMAILS, OR EMAILS. I did find two apps that claim to light up the edge of of the camera. Neither app is ready for prime time. Both interfere with the AOD feature and according to reviews they eat the battery. I was not able to get either one to work. Besides, they both are supported by ads. The missing notification light would have been a deal breaker for me. Now I am stuck with this piece of trash. It was a total waste of $1k. And even worse, I'm in the doghouse for missing some important text messages.

This phone was the worst one I have ever seen

There are a lot of issues coming with a new phone. 1.The proximity sensor issues. The phone screen is accidentally turning on during the calls, when the phone is on your ear/face/. You should press each time on the power button to turn off the screen, even though it again turns on accidentally after 2-3 minutes talking. So the screen is getting hot and uses more battery. Also, when the phone is in your pocket, it makes accidentally calls by itself 2. The finger print unlock issues . You should press on the finger print to unlock the phone from different - different angles. It does not recognize it is from first attempt. 3. There is no notification led lights on the top of the screen anymore. So, you will not notice if your phone is charging or get fully charged when you plug your into the power charger. Also you will not notice if someone called or messaged you, or if you received emails etc. * I already purchased 5-6 new Galaxy s10 & 10 plus devices from different stores like T-Mobile, AT&T etc. All of them had the same issues I mentioned below. Also, I sent the phones to Samsung repair center, but they couldn't fix it (the proximity sensor issues) and sent me back the phone with the issues.

I do not recommend this phone

I currently have the Samsung s10e. I have had it for a little bit now and at the start it was working smooth and nice. Now i am having lots of glitches. The fingerprint sensor never works and i had to turn it off because for no reason in my pocket my phone would start buzzing like i was getting 100 notifications at once but i would check and it would be the fingerprint sensor. Multiple times i have pulled my phone out of my pocket and it has been calling a random person from my pocket. The battery life after the first while goes to crap, I would say i use my phone quite a bit and i cant get half a day off of the battery. I do not recommend this phone, there are plenty other phones that you can get for the same price or maybe a little more that will get you a lot more performance than this phone.

I bought this phone unlocked on December 14th for 980$ and now your selling it for 599$???? No one mentioned to me at the store it would be 300$ cheaper weeks later. Am I able to return this and buy it for the 599 right after or get the difference in cash back? This is ridiculous. I would have never bought it for 300 more. I would have waited the 2 weeks!!!!

S10 opens apps/makes calls by itself

    Posted .

I keep my phone in my pocket and the S10 phone regularly opens apps by itself and even makes phone calls. Samsung has an "Accidental Touch Protection" setting but it does not prevent what I described. The only way to prevent is to shut down the phone. It is sooo annoying I would not have bought the phone had I known.

    Pictures are Blurry

The pictures are blurry and out of focus. I've tried everything. I have been a galaxy fan for years but this time I was extremely disappointed as the camera was the main reason that I bought it for. My old galaxy s6 takes better pictures and so does my wife's iPhone 7
